We were in Ashland for the Spring Thaw DH race. I guess that's how we heard about Ashland. The NorCal forums on MTBR have brought our attention to a lot of great riding areas too

This my home dirt. Good ride but did you ride any of the other stuff in the Area?
As I'm sure you know everything above 4 corners was closed for heli logging. We got out to Wagner to ride chucks and some DH shuttles. We've ridden all the stuff on Mt Ashland in the past as well.

That and racing. Racing has helped us progress immensely in a short period of time.
Sick riding!! Do you guys have a preferred or have any advice on a jacket for colder early mornings in the beginning of a ride, that I can fold and put into my backpack once it warms up? I seriously can't figure out what I want. Water resistance would be nice but it's not a necessity.
When it's cold enough for a jacket I usually just wear a base layer under my jersey.
Trail Peek Hmm, prob is after a couple hours of riding it gets warm enough to take the jacket off, so a base layer would probably be annoying 😩
How do you guys like the Switchblade helmet? Thinking about getting one myself.
It's great. Probably won't wear it during the summer as it's warmer than my A1.

I really like that you guys mix up "pov" and "followcam" in your vids lately. Doing the same thing every vid gets old, even if you fucking shred. I was up in Ashland a couple weeks ago... when were you guys there?
I really like doing the followcam stuff. To me it seems a lot more interesting when you can watch the rider up front. It adds context to the trail. We were there the last weekend of may for the Spring Thaw race.
