- YAS Y’ALL! I love this tumbler so much. One thing I always look forward to on the 4th are the delicious snow cones we get so this is a fitting release date!

Sweetie, rust oleum has 2x clear spray paint that will shield the sun from fading your ink colors in the sun, re-ink your cubes with a brush, spray with the rust oleum and you’re good to go! I had acrylic painted outdoor chairs that needed sun protection. This worked like a charm! Xxx
Yep, I have the rustoleum spray- it’s the only clear spray i use and i love it, my concern was getting the spray all over the parts that didn’t have the ‘snow cone’ effect- such as the rims, the straw hole and over spray on the inside. :)

Being a follower of you I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS IDEA! For ice I use that really course sea salt

Do you mix it in the resin ? Love this idea using sea salt !
@@ginalynn4493 I do mix it with resin. Some thought that the sea salt would break down when resin is mixed in it but it does not I've made several little snow cones key chain with it would have to send you a picture if I had your email you'll see what I'm talking about
Love this!! I'm thinking I'll try this using a fast set epoxy with UV protection only because I really don't like using UV resin lol. What a fun topper for kids cups!

Omg we have the exact same Morganite ring! I have never seen anyone else have this ring. I got it from Hannoush jewelers about 8-9 yrs ago. I spotted it and was like,,"wait,,what?" loll Good taste!

Absolutely gorgeous! 💜 FYI if you can’t find vase filler you can use coarse sea salt(from any grocery store), works great with both types of resin and is a little more accessible & inexpensive.

Yes! The first one I made I used epson salt. I may try sea salt- I wonder how that will hold up in epoxy over time?
I made some mini faux “slushies/icees” and they still retained their shape & color.
Unfortunately in Canada-Amazon, Michael’s & other local crafts stores don’t carry a lot of the supplies y’all have in the U.S. 😡😞 but your creativity inspires me to find other materials to make it work 👍🏾 THANK YOU! 😊

Wouldn't u also want to epoxy with regular epoxy because uv isnt fda compliant?
I did go back and seal with regular epoxy- that is what I was ‘painting’ on with a paint brush towards the end of the video.
However, I added it for the UV protection. Since your lips or the straw would never come in contact with the UV resin topper there would be no concern there.
@@damfancycreations yes! I saw that. It just appeared u gave the option of sealing it with regular epoxy after uv when i think it should be mandatory.
@@MsJennabird gotcha- well, like mentioned. The topper in this design would in no way come in contact with your lips or the liquid in the cup so it doesn’t NEED to be sealed with regular FDA compliant epoxy. :)

Why do I always hear birds in your video? Is a window open or are you outside? They are distracting. But your cups are beautiful.
