This little pony has had a rough time. She was not being taken care of correctly and is WAY under weight, sadly she was starving. After she was put into our care we took her straight to our vet to get her looked over before bringing her home. We are giving her all the supplements, feed, care, medication and of course TLC she needs to gain her weight and life back. Make sure to subscribe to our channel to follow her healing story. We are all about raising and training our horses, the Missouri Foxtrotter. Our goal is to bring awareness to this breed and showcase just how wonderful they are! We also raise and train our working border collie dogs. And don’t forget the homesteads sheep and goats!!! We also go to occasional auctions and recently have gotten into regenerative farming/agriculture. We are all about learning how to improve our fields/soil.

I agree with you. It is important that the people realised that the pony wasn't doing fine, reached out AND surrendered her to them. Hope she bounces back fine.
It needs to be said, Thank you to the little mare's former owner for ASKING FOR HELP. You realized something was wrong and she needed help. That is so much more than a lot of people do. Yes she is in rough shape but she is alive and she'll get better.
I like the name Cinder: a fiesty black pony who hasn't fully burned out yet and whose flame can be brought back with the right amount of "feed." Beautiful spirits, beautiful video, thank you, as always, for sharing. ❤🩹

My first thought was Ebony but when you said we’ll watch her blossom, that sounded like a perfect name. So I vote for Blossom!

So if they had really tried to take care of this little starving soul, she would have had decent food and water, and not been on the edge of death's door.

The previous owners did the right thing. They recognized something was off and reached out to a source they knew could help. If I was going to "blame" anyone for the situation, it would be the people who just gifted them the pony without making sure they were able to properly care for her.

Small world. I just had the opportunity to stop at a Tractor Supply - the closest is 2 hours away - and bought 2 of the same little lanterns for a part of the yard we walk through in the dark. 😅 Made me smile. Mine are white.

That whicker/whinny of hunger just about killed me, with how sweet she was, and recognized you were bringing help. Reckon the "attitude" stuff should calm as she gets fed up and isn't feeling desperate, and realizes she's being listened to and heard.

Ebony is a beautiful name for this pony. I imagine that she will calm down with plenty of proper food and gentle training. If she stays spicy, name her Spice Girl.

Fortunately the former owners did know both when to ask and where to do so.

@@arieschick1 Oliver has a buddy . Name's Champ - another stallion . Pony mare would be totally unsuitable for a Clydesdale stallion's pasture mate . Why do you think they didn't put Daisy out there ?
