About five months ago, I started seriously upping my speaking game in Tagalog. One of my strategies was to transcribe, in handwriting, everything I heard in selected Filipino vlogs and podcasts so that I could mimic the pronunciation and rhythm of the speakers, and study vernacular sentence construction and usage. I'll have to say, your content is absolutely my favorite! Your channel is among the most entertaining on the entire internet 😆😂🤣, especially ang babaeng 'landi. Bro, you need to go to the Philippines!

I’m very amused with your UA-cam vlogs and fascinated. I guess those who need to learn Tagalog should be foreigners or tourists going to the Phils.
To learn how to pronounce or speak in Tagalog, just follow the way the Pilipino alphabet is said not the way English alphabet is said which is “slang” sounding letter. That’s why English speaking persons particularly Americans when they speak a Tagalog word sounds like funny or sounds like Bisaya.
In the English Alphabet they pronounce the following vowels “a, e, i, o, u” with a long sound like slang. Example “a” is pronounce in English or American way like long a in ate but in Tagalog you say a as “ah”. When you say maganda it should be prounced as a short a “mah ga’n dah” not long a in English slang like “may gain da”. In Tagalog the vowels are pronounced like staccato not slang. Same as pronouncing e as “eh”, i as long e, o as in “o in okay”, u is pronounced hard as in “ou”
