Have had that sprayer for maybe 6 years now! I do always run some fresh water though it when finished. I've even sprayed plant food through it! It's gotta die eventually
Practice makes perfect. Really enjoying watching your videos - i'm learning a lot in the process. You are lucky to have the Pacific on your doorstep - your boat is perfect for exploring the islands ...
Likewise! I have yet to leave the relative safety of the marina, but plan on living off the hook, most likely in the fall. That is why I love your content. You seemed so at home and content where I fear I would have been nervous and unable to relax. I know that this confidence will come in time. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 and thanks for leaving a comment 🙏

I'm enjoying your channel and have just subscribed! Sometimes the anchor will clean itself if you motor slowly with it just below the surface. It's nice to see some sunshine. I'm in rainy Wales, UK.
To raise your main sail go as deep downwind as the channel allows and motor back into the wind as slowly as you can and keep steerage. You needs sails up to heave to, which is good for reefing but not rasing sails.
@@EdwardSeatonSailing you could try but not sure how well that would work. You would need to let the main sheet completely out as you would be sitting off the wind at a pretty steep angle. If you'll fully release the main sheet you'll find hauling the main sheet up will work much better as the boom will swing downwind if the wind direction is not exactly bow on.
Really liking your channel. I’m still very much a novice and building up to solo sailing. Not there yet! I notice you have auto helm and I find this really useful when unfurling and furling the mainsail. I head into wind on motor and hit the auto helm to hold that course whilst I can then deal with the sail without worrying about being blown off course. It works for me, at least! Anyway, good luck with future adventures and keep posting the great content.
Alas, with a remotely operated windlass to the cockpit? for shame - that is hardly singlehanded is it..? One of the main anchoring tasks is automated, and you have helm control throughout.
Much better docking- good job!
Brick by brick my citizens 🙏 💪
Looks like you did everything right!
Thanks, buddy. Encouraging words are encouraged.
Getting much better at docking. Im very interested to see how long your sprayer works with salt water in it.

If you watch closely you'll see my Welsh Flag 😉 Love Wales! Got some family over there. Which bit of Wales?
@@EdwardSeatonSailing I did notice the flag! I am in North West Wales, near a place called Pwllheli.
@@HP-qj4gz nice to meet you! My auntie lives in the middle bit near the sea. I'm not very good with the names 😉

Right. I guess I was wondering if I could heave to with the headsail and then set the main?

Just bought the Ryobi pressure tool based on seeing your video. Hope you get a commision.
It works great 👍 good investment.

Thanks! I'm a novice too :) love my auto helm. Couldn't do it without one!
Only one suggestion: you might want a snubber on your anchor chain. Love the content!
Thanks for the comments 🙂 I do have a snubber thing, but don't know how to use it! I did an episode on it a while back...
