The scene with the dog hiding under the couch broke my heart the first time I saw this video, we don't deserve them. I'm a huge dog lover, so I almost cried when I saw it... He/she must be so confused and scared. I know it might be easier said than done, but I'd probably try and get my dog out, or die trying, the love for them are just too big.
My dog is coming with me wherever I go. I could never leave without her.

It is also possible that the owners needed (was forces to) to evacuate and they did not get the dog with them. But still breaks my hearth.
Something our MOUT training lacks is the unexpected chaos of wreck shit all around you and dangers. Tons of hide holes can be utilized in this terrain vs the neatly clean/empty MOUT buildings.

I recently lost my cat of 11 years had him since he was born, also his mother is still here with me, it’s hard right now as it’s been a couple days but I can imagine all the families that were not able to bring pets with them feel😢 so sad😒

For you people who have not paid attention until the mass media told you to in 2022. Drones changed modern warfare in Syria during the ISIS/YPG/NATO offensive against the Syrian Arab Army in 2012-15 (until the RU intervention halted the US advance on Damascus in 2016).

Personally, I'd prefer longer, one part videos. We can do our own time management ;) and if necessary, we can stop the video at 50% ourselves and continue watching at a later moment. No need for you to cut them up, unless it really does help you with the algorithm.

If you've been to Ukraine like I have, I went there twice 2009 and 2011, right before all the wars, it's a shock to see this happening. Never thought relations with Russia would result in this. Seeing the scenery, it seems like a memory of the past, the way a city used to be, and seeing it now in a war scarred landscape it's depressing and sorrowful. Ukraine had a lot of promise as a nation right before the war, now it's becoming just another Syria.
Here I am, eating a 6 piece chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce watching men go to war. Always someone fighting someone else, the day theres a free for all war it will be the end of us

How could a marine's reaction be interesting to anyone? Marines have never (at least for the last 40 years) fought a real war against an enemy that is even remotely equal, let alone technologically superior.
Makes me feel kinda grossed out to know people are watching this as entertainment.
We watch war footage now like it's a video game channel, there's a detachment...or worse, people know and accept it as real but don't care, or they only care for it as a form of entertainment they consume and then watch something else without giving it another thought.
Even the soldiers are uploading, editing it with music etc, modern life, nothing feels real anymore.

F man these videos make me feel like I'm right there with them, laughing and tearing up at small victories, feeling moral boosts from extracting friends and escaping danger, it's crazy but the wild part is that the more you watch this you feel a bit of adrenaline or heightened senses by overtime, all the gunfire and tension becomes normal and you don't feel these feelings as intensely.
This must be how most soldiers feel in war, it's become their norm so adrenaline is nulled down until they actually get cornered or shot, adrenaline doesn't last forever unless it's artificial.
Im an athiest but i say a little prayer for our Ukrainian boys and girls just incase

i only herd t eh snap of ak rounds going over my head 1 time is was on duty at night grabbed my duty pistol had no idea the swat team came like 3 to 5 minutes later but i could hear teh crack and it hit the building so was a little scary nothing like this but thats my only time being shot at by a rifle at least i been shot at before with pistol as a kid was just random when it happened

Especially with head movement and just the enviroment in general. Houses look so clean in battle in video games compared to real life where you can barely walk two steps in front of you..

I don't think that I would be able to just leave the poor husky dog, no matter how much training I did my heart breaks, I would probably lose my mind.

In Finnish army we got in basic training lot of clearing insides of rk (our ak variant) while crawling. Usually it was made over stomach while laying on your back and you cant look - you may get bullet/shrapnel in your neck if you lift up your head. Over some time you get used to it.
Every weapon get jammed and it is your only hope as you are just food for the guns there. Better keep it working no matter what.

Trained a lot on the gun in the Navy, we still have them equip with the Anti Aircraft reticles on the end for ship defense.
They would blend in better with artic bdus or something similar to the color around them.... the dark color in a sea of white stands out like a sore thumb

there's still civilians and pets who can't EVAC still wondering around their destroyed towns and cities, I've heard people walk endlessly looking for clothing, food and shelter
Interesting fact, Ukraine still takes care of their animals during war, over 10,000 cats, dogs, raccoons, bears and even zoo animals such as lions and tigers were rescued. They were all relocated to other animal shelters around Europe, mainly in Poland, you can adopt these animals or foster them, as they are in desperate need for help and supplies. Nobody ever thinks about the well being of animals but Ukraine does, they go out their way to rescue them, especially after the bombing on one of Ukraine’s hydroelectric dam and flooded and entire region.
I wish more people donated more humanitarian aid instead of weapons, sure, Ukraine needs the ammo to keep fighting but they also need the proper funding to keep the lights on
The worst conflict environments are conflicts in settlements. You never know from which window, behind which tree or garbage container the enemy will come out and shoot you. Here is observation, intelligence and of course courage, that fear that raises your adrenaline, the short moment between life and death can drive you crazy. You should look for holes in every area you check and make sure that you clean and protect that area thoroughly. Of course, then tactics come into play with a brave team. You need many things that will connect you to life, including the equipment you will use in such environments. We say, when it comes to the Homeland, the rest is detail!
On YT we can watch only videos how Ukrainians have a good fight, winning here and there but in reallity Russians fighters moving to the west, slower but secured so...just one kind of propaganda!

This was Adivka around the same time as ammunition was running out, the same time as the USA funding stalled for six months.
3rd brigade went in to hold the line while troops had to withdraw. Due to Ammunition shortages.
