    How to Loft in SolidWorks for beginners. This is an ultimate loft tutorial for SolidWorks beginners who have not worked with this feature of SolidWorks before and a full introduction to the whole concept of lofting. In this tutorial, you will learn how to work with profiles, guide curves, how to connect them as well as "End constraints".     good - to the point - nice length and well planned - you could have added different end constraints to the remaining shapes 4,5,6 etc.. A question for you - could you have added guide curves in the plan view too?

    Does Plane 6 need to be on the outer edge of the sketches? What do you do if your profiles are offset (i.e. not exactly centered)?

      BoostElectronics no it does not. In that case you must draw a new profile

      @@santory5788 look to the left side hhe did it ones and show you just playing with design tree
      if you want it you just pick the plane you just draw it and then pick the last point of your related sketch and create a plane after that just open new sketch on your new plane and click the sketch you want to copy and use the convert entitities on sketch tab its done

      I do have a 2100 page PDF tutorial to make a tiger tank in SW but it is not free Mohammed. Although I am working on a course which comes out soon if you could wait a month or two

    Can you not use 3D sketch, which solidworks automatically creates planes, instead of creating planes and sketches on those planes? I'll give it a try and give you guys feedback ;)

      Of course, you can use 3D sketches for guide curve specifically. But performing Loft with 3D sketches just for the sake of not making planes, is counter productive and would take you longer

    Keep a practise drawing on side of the screen and explain it it will be more comfortable while watching the video.... May be if the peoples need to draw the same profile they need the dimensions of the profile....
