Kirby and Dedede have my favorite relationship of all the Nintendo hero-villain pairs, mostly because Dedede's not even a villain these days. He's just Kirby's jerk neighbor.
That's pretty much always been the case. In the second Kirby game, Kirby's Adventure, Dedede wasn't even the actual bad guy. He did what he did to try to seal away the real villain and Kirby just went off on a tear anyway. Then he went and gave Kirby a little boost after Kirby kicked his ass, since Kirby refused to listen to reason.

Each episode is on a different planet and each scene is either them goofing around, talking or arguing about how to cross a stage, panicking at a disaster or the boss showing up, etc. The ending is them returning home and parting ways, Adeleine is giving her final thoughts, and cuts to Kirby and Dedede fighting each other with her saying that deep down, they're still friends. Even having a small scene after the final credits showing the Halberd with Meta Knight looking out the window. After some silence, he says "Why do I get the feeling that I just missed out on something?" 😂
Kirby: "Don't be givin' it to me in that sippy cup. I'm an adult and I deserve an adult glass" (reaches for his chocolate milk and immediately spills it)
This is so amazing. If you ever want to revisit the idea, Venture Bros from adult swim, and Code Monkeys from G4 TV also had characters that Dana Snyder voiced.
If they ever make a Kirby movie, Dana NEEDS to voice Dedede. This would be the one of the best things to ever exist. Next to Jack Black voicing Bowser in the Mario Movie.
