For me this is the theme of adventure.
Superman's main theme is the theme of heroics, E.T. is the theme of friendship, and Jaws is the theme of fear. I could go on.
I play this before going to parties where I know no one.
@@SirDawkster Jurassic Park is the theme of heavenly beauty
Star Wars is the theme of a Galactic Quest
Indeed. Its just the right sound to listen to for every action/adventure show and movie you can think of.
You are right
There will never come a day where I won't love the Indiana Jones movies or theme song.
Ronin Elenion b
Ronin Elenion you go away because only people who like Indiana Jones are here so go away!
Calllum Dickinson What?
@@calllumdickinson8073 ronin person was saying that he likes Indiana Jones and he'll never stop!! Indiana Jones is the most awesome movie hero ever ♡ he's definitely my hero LOL let's see I have the franchise I've got the Hat a poster (I did have the jacket before a dog ripped it up) I need the jacket and I need the whip😍
***VIXEN ***, Don’t forget a small Asian boy
I don't think there will ever be another era for a hero like Indiana Jones.
Every era has their heroes. Luke Skwalker, Indiana Jones, James Bond, and Superman are viewed exactly how the Greeks viewed Hercules or Jason and the Argonaunts.
Not even lara croft would be as legendary
What's nutty is Dr. Jones is a professor but he's also a.. whatever he's suppsed to be as Indiana Jones. I saw the guy dodging a lot of traps, kicking some butt with his whip and scoring with a few hotties during his adventures but I'm confused as to what he's supposed to be. Sure he fought bad guys and all that but .. is Indy a superhero or what?
@@trickq5883 he's a hero

This Goddamn song follows me everywhere..
Thank you for my childhood
Indiana Jones All I can say this is one hundred times better then the music they play on the radio where I work at!
😊📺📺📺📺📺📺
"Even when doing having my root canal done at my dentist's"
I imagine you saving a bunch of kids from a school shooting to this music. Helps me not be so sad. 1 real life Indiana Jones could stop school shootings. Columbine only happened kus they knew Indy was getting older.
“That damn music follows me everywhere”
- Harrison Ford 2015
in germany we call this schicksal (fate) :D
lol thats the bad cop art
One of the best movies of all time
*best* movie
The first one and the third one, you mean.
I have always hated Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (russkies, aliens, shia laBeouf), and despite being a part of a trilogy Temple Of Doom doesn't have anything to do with anything. Not even any nazi-punching or biblical artifacts, just a random made-up death cult and indian magic rocks.
@@darksparkle6087 KotCS Doesn't exist in my mind. I have it repressed like all my life trauma.
Yes
Agree
Whoever timed that scene at 1:48 PERFECTLY with the music:

One of the best movie soundtracks ever. I love these movies!
this is the score not the soundtrack, score is original (usually orchestral) soundtrack is like the songs that you use that were not made for the movie
Same I love Indiana jones
I swear when Harrison Ford dies, a peice of me and my child hood will die as well.
Me too man
He'll never die in our hearts.
He is my favourite actor of all time.
I also swear that this happend tot me when Robin Williams died. Weird thing is I felt this before i've found out.
chill. indy 5 in the making
RIP Jones Sr.
The boulder should have received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. That's how good Raiders of the Lost Ark is.
areasevenpro yeah true a great movie 👍
And I almost didn't go see it. I thought it'd be a kids movie. I'm glad I was wrong, and went.
I got to see it in theaters a few years back when it was in limited re-release. It was like watching a brand new movie compared to the countless times I've seen it on TV. Just the beginning sequence alone with the boulder was spectacular on a big screen.
areasevenpro I agree
hhah best comment. Ever.
This theme is exactly why our lives are always full of Adventure and Indiana Jones knows what Adventure is all about!!
The man, Ford, has lived a charmed life. Worked with so many talented people, travelled around the world and been in many iconic roles. What a life! Indiana Jones is by far my favorite movie character.
Yes i totally agree 👍 👏 👌
I always loved the Indiana Jones movies for its beautiful sceneries, the 80’s looked like a fun time to be alive!
It was the best time for music and movies
@@psdcypress3128 AMEN or LIKEWISE! In my opinion, the '80s WERE, and ALWAYS WILL BE, "THE PINNACLE OF CIVILIZATION!"
Not really, stagflation was pretty high.
@@rosstheboss8633 Up to 1982, then it was a lot better. Took awhile to clean up Carter's mess.
I realize this is an old comment, but you do realize that the movies - while filmed in the 80s - were set in the 30s/40s, right? It might not change your opinion, but I would think if you truly buy into the magic of movies, you would be attracted to life in the 30s or 40s. Just a thought
God I love these movies so much. I was 13 when I saw them for the first time and I fell in love immediatly. Now I'm 23 and they're still my favorite movies ever. They have everything : story, music, characters, dialogs, and this overall feeling of magic and adventure that can hardly be found nowadays. Amazing, timeless cinema.
You hear a single tone of this song and you automatically know what it is. It's such an iconic song and for those that don't know this, well, you just missed out.
I can't believe that tomorrow, after all these years, I will hear it again in the cinema! I'm afraid I might start crying when that theme starts playing.
Unfortunately it was a dissapointment. I hope they will not end the series with that failure. Indiana Jones deservs more
Film was great, so much better than crystal skull
And....I am 8 years old again, going to see last crusade in the theater. The first time I had ever seen him on the big screen, It was also my first big kid movie.
Yep, Indiana Jones brings back memories for everyone. For me it's sitting down binge watching the original trilogy with my dad. Ah those were the times...

I love Indiana Jones, and the entire movie franchise :)
GeorgeSid I love the fourth
GeorgeSid The fourth one wasn't THAT bad. While it does fail in comparison to the original 3, it still has some memorable and enjoyable moments.
dont forget about the young indy show
I love the fourth one for its mystery, always has me wondering
Andrew Davis
Rest in peace
Sean Connery
😔
The only actor who can play Indy's father
Yeah he is the best
I wish I had the physique of Harrison Ford and the musicality of John Williams.
Sebastian Spina I wish I had the singing voice of Freddie
I read that as "masculinity of John Williams" lmao
Ah, chills every time! So memorable and nostalgic! One of the best movie soundtracks of all time!
I like Harrison Ford more as Indiana Jones than Han solo.
ORRante1117 Indy will always be my favourite movie character of all time.
Harrison Ford agrees
Thomas Drew Indy is iconic.
he seems more natural as indy
@@lunachurro6411 probably because of how infamously Harrison hated playing Han
One time I was in a Halloween store about 3 years ago, I asked the worker there if they had any Indiana Jones whips or hats there because that was my costume that year. Th e kid looked at me dead in the eyes and in all seriousness said “Whos Indiana Jones?” I left the store a more broken man than when I went in. Kids need to be introduced to these movies, the can’t die out.
Im 13 and Indiana Jones is my favorites movies but i have friends who ... don’t know who is Indiana jones
I have never meet a person who has never seen Indiana Jones.
if i was there, i immediately would've grabbed my belt and used it like a whip on that kid
Man you should’ve took them to the underworld
Many will try to be inspired by his charm, but few will be able to capture the magic of his characters, if at all. Good luck to them.
Absolutely outstanding soundtrack, the most positive music you will ever hear.
Rip Sir Sean Connery
Props for putting the Cairo Swordsman scene black-to-back with the Thugee swordsmen scene.
Raiders: "I'll just pull out my gun and shoot him. There, done."
Temple: "I'll just pull out my gun and shoot the...oh, shit."
+Tom Spiegel YASSSSSSSSSS
The way I understood it, Harrison Ford didn't feel good that day in Raiders and ad libbed that scene.
Tommy Young Not necessarily ad libbed, because the other guy had to “get shot”, but you’re right, they did decide to improvise.

"I will totally steal Jewish Artifacts and become immortal, but anyone who betrays Shiva, FUCK YOU!"
@@userloser4553 Watch Temple of Doom before the other two with the Utah 1912 scene from Crusade put up in front of the movie. Indie basically has a story arc going from ruthless plunderer to starting to realize these things have a power of their own and not ever actually getting any of the artifacts he pursues, save for the Cross of Coronado.
Love this soundtrack. Gives me goosebumps everyone I hear it. Such a feelgood factor from childhood. Thank you John Williams.
Hehe
One of the bests music John Williams ever composed along with Superman, Jurassic park, ect.
This is an immortal soundtrack
Who's here after watching The Dial of Destiny? I loved the movie! ❤
I loved it too, a shame indys done but the film was a fine send off
I think Helena stole the show and it was very clear theat the Indy Era is over. So it's okay but I think the others are better.
Indiana Jones is one of my heroes and my all time favorite movie character I’ve watched these movies so many times
Legend of a theme when it first came out.
Decided to watch the first film on Halloween again, and what a throwback.
Honestly, for a movie made in the 1980s, it was done really good especially with the limited tech they had. Top tier soundtrack, storyline, and honestly the best Indiana Jones movie out of the whole series. I don't want to spoil too much, but it's worth watching, especially this one where this theme can to be.
"It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage." -Harrison Ford
2:16 is definitely my favourite shot of the whole series.
Having Indy, Willie and shorty release all the enslaved children.

A good movie that doesn't have a stupid ending like..."It was aliens" ? :P
Don't worry, it's been my dream (since I was 6) to make films when I grow up. I want to make good adventure films like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I want to make movies for the art of it, not the money or the fame. Currently I am 14.
Frank Esposito You mean Part 4 right ? Indiana Jones is a trilogie.

Indy :DAAAD DAAAD.
Indy's father : You call this archeology?

Every time I hear this theme it reminds me of simply exploring the local creek looking for “Artefacts” (old bottles and jars from the 50s) as a kid, dreaming of being an archeologist such as Henry Jones Jr
I wish they did a whole tribute at the end of Dial of Destiny in the credits knowing it's the last Movie. Anyways Indiana Jones will always be remembered & be Amazing.
Thanks for un-restricting it. Even if I got restricted by accident. Thanks so much. Really loved this song and this version. Having it removed 2 days after finding it sucked. Thanks so much for bringing it back.❤
