Cookie Monster narrates a Lovecraft audiobook despite his sore throat.
He just didn't have enough cookies
New track released the day after Lovecraft's birthday. Stars are aligned.
I hear they had an Oracle named Mar k'eting foretell that date would be the time of release.
@Lucifer nice try Satan, won't decieve me! Happy belated birthday btw
@Nyarlathotep how curious...
My pharaoh walks the earth, and the sins will be repay
Lovecraft and metal: 2 of my favourite things
Posssibly the best Lovecraftian Cthulhu Mythos Atmospheric Black/Doom Metal band ever 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Sulphur Aeon?
@@Blutroth Sulphur Aeon is awesome but it is death metal so...
They are cool but I would give it a more Arabic feel since you know the Black Pharaoh.
3:40 that Funeral / Cathedral doom vibe hits me just right
The bass in this song is monstrous.
i love this slower, almost more basic approach, akin to more old-school black metal. I hope this indicates this will be very varied album, while s till flowing nicely.
I like how this song is more on the slower side than other black metal songs which are mostly fast and aggressive. The slower playing could emulate a sort of emotion as dread or fear. I as a cultist of the cult of cthulhu like this alot!
It fits with the theme very well, Nyarlathotep also goes by the crawling chaos, a slow inevitable march of doom, lyrics also mention that he walks slowly.
This sounds like Samael's "Blood Ritual", and this makes it FUCKING GLORIOUS!
So finally "Lovecraft Metal" became a new subgenre. Heavy metal never stops growing.
This song is a mood.
New favourite genre: Lovecraftian Metal
Check Sulphur Aeon band
Make sure to check out also following bands/projects: Crafteon, Cthuluminati, Pnakotic Vision, Revocation (their latest album The Outer Ones), Sulphur Aeon, The Lurking Fear, Ultar, Vale of Pnath.
If you have some tips as well, I'd really like to hear them :-)
@@n3r0nero1992 You know a band is good when the first song you hear from them is called "cthulu rites"
Also, check out the death metal band Nile. They make incredible music, and their songs are about Lovecraftian monster and Ancient Egypt myths
There's also a band called Obed Marsh
God damn! How the hell I never heard of these guys!? Amazing. Its always awesome to find a new band.
These guys are so good and this new album is so promising. Listen to the "The Omniscient" track, also.
Check out Tekeli-Li, it's a masterpiece
Try NECRONAUTICAL, they will blow your mind!!
This song reminds me heavily of Sign Of An Open Eye by Gorgoroth.
I was thinking about the same! But I really like it :) and the song is an absolute banger!
@@MrAgrima1 I really like it to. The first riff sounds like the Sign Of An Open Eye but slower. Probably got inspiration from it I'm assuming.
@@Blunterx420 totally!
Oranssi Pazuzu -
Vasemman käden hierarkia :))

Will this one be up on Bandcamp too? I don't see it there yet. Being in S Korea, it's the easiest way for me to buy high quality downloads.
The album will be on Bandcamp, I'm sure. They have all previous albums there too.
@@AUM_-po9sc Yup. I Checked and its up now. It was somehow under the label page but not the band page, but I think it's fixed. Anyway, I'll be getting this day one for sure!
