Love your content! consuming all that I can. I'm 32 and just now learning about trading, I've never had a career. I have hopped from job to job trying to find what works for me in life. I'm currently a handyman but I'm tired of abusing my body day after day just to barley get by. I'm all in on trading after coming across your videos. I started in a simulator the other day and I'm trying to play the simulator as if it's my real money, so I only put up $200 in shares in the simulator, followed your wonderful advice and made $11 on that deal! I was so excited! Slowly working the simulator into my schedule and hopefully by the end of 2024 or start of 2025 I'll be transitioning into a full time treader. Thanks Ross for your beautiful teachings!

I had a similar experience graduating college during the Great Recession. It was a rough 6 years - I had to take what little money I had and move across the country with just the clothes on my back, sleeping on a friends couch, in a city with better economic opportunities. Fast forward several years and now life is great. I wish I had considered trading earlier but I'm now in a position where I can fund a small account and grow it from a side hobby into a considerable side hustle. Thanks Ross for all the advice. One of these days I'm going to take a 2-week vacation from work and take your warrior pro course. 👍

I think I agree with your theory, I'm quit a bit older, been a tradesman for most of my adult life, and took up day trading coming on 3.5 years, and I finally have started seeing some consistency. I believe that doing it my way,(later in Life) is considerably harder to be able to do. I have many responsibilities that have to be met every day, no taking a break from those, so I, at least have found it very challenging to juggle those and learn to be consistent. I must say, It's all come together in this last 6 months, and a lot of is due to listening and watching your videos. So thankyou very much for all your time.

I think you are overlooking a demographic, retirees. I am retiring at the end of this year and looking for income to supplement social security. I have a 401K and an IRA but my goal is not to touch them if I don't have to. I own my home and I'm debt free so my living expenses are low. I started this past Monday with $190 taking $50 trades. After one week and seven trades my account is down 0.68%. I have no intention of adding more money until I'm confident in strategy. I'm still learning the lingo and where to find what I need to see in the software. I fully intend to sign up for your classes. I just want to at least have the basics down to be better able to understand what you are teaching. Thank You for the UA-cam videos! It’s the perfect time to experiment, learn, and build those trading instincts. Ive found it much more helpful to start out with just 1 share in actual market and tracking the percentage gain & loss. Being in the simulator is just not the same.
Looking at the percentage gain or loss and applying what that ideally would be if using ideal trade amount. Yes I know you'd get slippage on buys and sells so its not perfect but atleast it gives you a glimpse of win/loss record to test your methods. Still fine tuning, but making better habits selling losers faster.

    • @socalk1d262
      @socalk1d262 15 днів тому

@@MaddisonSheldon I know that Ross says to use a simulator until you prove you're profitable, but the emotional response and cognitive dissidence are nowhere near the same with paper money and real money. I would suggest using a simulator with a real broker to get familiar with the trading software, reading LV.2 and the tape, as well as configuring your own personal hotkeys. Do this until you feel comfortable with everything and then start trading with real money. Do really small shares (ex. 1-10 ) per trade. Once you are consistent for a few weeks, start scaling up. If you're hesitating taking a trade because you're afraid to lose money, your share size is too big. At the end of everyday and even on days I'm not trading, I journal in a physical book. I find putting pen to paper helps me retain my thoughts. Screen record you're trading so you can go over your mistakes. This will help with seeing what the LV.2 and the tape does during breakouts, jackknife's, etc..
The broker I use is CMEG. It's an international broker that allows me to bypass the PDT rule. They have a simulator that you can use to get familiar with the software. There are websites that will give you a free 2 week trial if you look around. If you need any other information or helps finding the link let me know.
      Good Luck!!!

And that is totally wrong ! You first have to focus on the process of finding the setups you’re looking for
And entry and exit , as you know the market doesn’t care about bills that are due on the 1st
And so it’s unrealistic to assume by a certain time you will have x amount of money

I started trading a year ago at 21 with a 2,000 cash account and ive just been trading with 10-20 shares so i didnt blow my account while learning. I just recently started upping my positions to 50-100 shares. Hopefully one day ill get to the point of making a few hundred a day.

I live on the west coast but the hardest thing for me isn’t trading, it is getting up at 4am. I don’t do it. I get up by 7am and miss most of the early moves. I don’t know how people get up at 4am. Would be worth making a video to discuss whether the sacrifice (for us night owls) is worth it for the potential for extra gains. If it is, I may just discipline myself to get to bed by 8pm…

I'm a 42-year-old motorcycle mechanic and I don't want to learn another trade on top of all the ones I have learned. So I started trading about 6 months ago. I love Ross's teaching. I've learned so much in a short time. I feel like I should be paying for it. I'm down half of my $1,000 startup money but I've been making it back the last 2 weeks with minimal red days from 8 to 20 bucks a day and it doesn't feel like anything but I know once I size up it's going to change my life. Every time I feel like quitting Ross says something else in one of his videos That hits home so hard that I just dig deeper. I can never quit. I'm doing it for these kids now

That’s emotion and discipline. When you are ready to follow the rules, you can do it. It’s a choice to decide I’m only going to take 1 trade a day for 10 days and see if I’m in a better place.

Great advice. I had the same issue @mrdukedo.
I did what Ross suggested. I decided to only have 1-2 trades regardless of the outcome. Never before 9 am and always when the 4 hour candle starts, which is 9 AM. If it’s a loss I will look for a second trade. If that’s a loss I stop until the next 4 hour candle starts, which is 1 pm

I’d love to join pro now but FUNDS limited. I’m really planning on 6 months of serious study- and more of course. Seems like starter is all I really need at first until I get through the first 18 hours. Thanks again BTW I saw Jerry 20X ❤️your work THANKS !!!

These are two offshore brokers that people in our community or our educators have used that you can research.
For accounts under $25,000 (as little as $500), you can take a look at CME Group (US and all international residents except Canada).
