This is my most ambitious project in the anime piano world so far. After being inspired by the quality of the arrangement and severly dissappointed by the lack of sheets, I started transcribing this medley in April, and slowly, after losing and gaining motivation several times, finished the entire sheet in July.
Considering the scale of the work (12 pages, this is more than any medley produced by Animenz himself), I went out of my way to make the playback sound quality as good as possible. Took me more than 20 hours to turn an ugly midi exported from Sibelius into a majestic piece of music, that can be enjoyed in its own right. I'm very proud of the final result, and I'll do my best to maintain such level of quality and effort in my future arrangements/transcriptions.

[Update 17.10.2018]. Hey everybody, thanks for all the postiive and critical feedback! I revised the whole sheet and made a lot of adjustments, mainly - missing notes in chords, especially on the first page.. There were no significant mistakes in harmonies or melody, hovewer, please redownload the sheet to get a version that's even closer to Animenz's original performance.

How long did it take you to learn this? And how many years have you been playing the piano? I'm considering learning this over summer break but I'm not sure if I'll manage.

@@wholemilky ik this is late but with 1 month of everyday practice, you should be able to complete the song... if you have some parts that is really impossible(try it first b4 saying it is impossible ;) ), you should know what to do-manipulate it to a similar but easier group of notes
@@atw227 I decided to start earlier and I spent a total of three weeks where I played maybe 1 hour every day on this piece in particular. It was half-easy as long as you focused on the piece and memorization techniques instead of doing other stupid stuff on the piano as a way of procrastionation.

I always love the music of TheIshter and Animenz, and love playing them too. But the skills and the sheets are way pretty hard in certain parts, so I always find myself stuck in the middle of the sheets, which prevents me from finishing my performance TT^TT *crying*. I have searched and commented a lot to require someone to make tutorials based on their arrangments. However, maybe they find these arr. hard too ;_;.

Main trick - setting ambient mics (which are not present in Lite version, unfortunately) volume higher than close mics. Other than that I experiment with my settings every new upload. I don't master the audio after VST.
Glad you like it! The primary reason it sounds good is because I spend a lot of time tweaking velocity of every note to make it sound more "human", like making the melody voice a bit louder than the rest, adding dynamics etc.

ah which reverb room you use that makes also a different about the feeling of the tone

@@madwazzsynthesia yeah, measure 35. It does sound right. Thats the only major issue atm. There are some minor details that were missing in the first page.
Oh, I see, thanks! I'll recheck the entire sheet some time in the near future and fix all the minor mistakes. It's been 5 months since I transcribed this part, and my relative pitch was much worse back then to identify the missing notes
