"What can you feel is different?"
Such a simple question that has such a profound impact on teaching and retaining the feels from the lesson. Awesome

Did he just turn a 25 handicapper into a decent sand player in 4 shots?!?!?
    My mind is blown.

This guy is the same handicap as me and struggles from the bunker as me. I’m downloading this video and keeping it on my phone to practice with. Dan is an absolute legend

Since I discovered his videos, within a few rounds, I chipped in from the bunker twice in three rounds. One was a slam dunk from a very deep bunker with short side flag (all I could see was the top of the flag). My chipping and bunker play have become so much more consistent, reliable and I get the ball so much closer. I suggest his videos to so many people I play with.

Love it Dan. You should do more of these. His face is a picture when he gets out twice in a row!

I`m a 20 handicap (started playing a year ago) and according to Arccos my short game is 0.5 strokes gained on a scratch golfer. This has been 100% thanks to Dan Grieves. I truly agree there is no reason why any player can be Elite in the short game ... there is no physical limitation for this if you put the work in

Dan's teaching method of using different amateur players to demonstrate how his tips can change their game instantly is a great innovation. It's a joy to watch his videos!

Fantastic video. I’m just getting back into golf and dread the bunkers and can never get out. I’ll be heading out tomorrow and practising these tips. Hopefully it works for me cos it will really improve my game and score

13 HC and been following Dan for a couple of months now and, even though its horrible wet and muddy its transformed my inside 50 years, and frequently get 'great shot!' from playing partners as rarely outside of 10ft. Shame I can't putt lol

It seems so easy and after seeing dozens of these Dan lessons i have definitely improved …i dont have 3 shots out anymore(so far this last season 😬)…but still have zero practice Places in my area so my distance control is very lacking..usually really short on first of the day ,then really long then short then round is over lol….i wonder since its now winter like in the NE usa and beaches are empty …would going to a beach to practice this work like a bunker ?

Thank you for your great videos! One question to this one. At 4:53 it looks like your grip is really strong. Is this right and does it close the club face? Greetings Richard

    Haha
I'm an 11 handicap and would also drop shots off my 'cap if I got down in 2 putts from every bunker 😮
    I'm shamefully poor.

All fair enough for ‘parkland’ bunkers with low faces and plenty of sand, what about pot bunkers with no sand on a links course?

It amazes me how so many people have played golf their whole lives with terrible fundamentals. For long game and short game, amateur players have no excuse for not having tour level alignment, setup, and grip. If you don’t master the fundamentals, there is really no point in playing the game.
