      A little weird humor for you : In Canada, they come labeled "Aksa" not panzer, they have the M1014 full length mag tube and there is no mag restriction. But it does come with a plastic dowl in the tube. The irony is not lost.

    I have an OG M4 and a Panzer that I got 2-3 years ago. Runs great, and as you noted, is 1:1 compatible with any aftermarket parts that fit the Benelli. Turkish shotguns have a not unearned spotty reputation for, ah, shall we say "variable" quality, but Panzer seems to have gotten it right.
    My own personal name for the wave of M4 clones is the "Turknelli M-Faux".

      "1:1 compatible with any aftermarket parts that fit the Benelli"
      That's not 100% accurate, there are a number of aftermarket parts that don't fit. I got a magazine extension tube for mine, made for the M4, which didn't fit. Have yet to find one that fits.

      When I bought my Beretta 1301 tactical, I didn't even clean it or oil it, out of the box I ran 300 shells of that cheap value pack crap you buy at Walmart, 200 shells of that cheap fiocchi like Eric ran in the video, and some Remington buckshot and slugs. I only had one failure, which was I didn't bring enough ammo! I ran out way to dang fast! It runs like a sewing machine, no failures of any kind. My dad's Charles daily has a fte or ftf I swear every five to ten shots, which is why I won't shake a stick at Turkish shotguns. Hopefully Panzer will be the exception to the rule, but I'm hoping James does a shotgun burn down test on one eventually. I know Panzer supposedly did their own, but we all know when a manufacturer is gonna market their product, they will make sure it's the best of the best, otherwise it's counter intuitive to market their product.

    I bought the Tactical model early last year and put all the goodies on it; i.e., collapsible stock, extended mag tube and oversized charging handle. I made sure to follow the manufacturer's advice and first put 100 high-brass shells through it to break in the gas system. After that, it has run 100% everything I have put in the tube, from slugs to that cheap-ass Walmart red-hulled skeet shot. The gun doesn't care, I can even mix the loads up and it still runs them. Will it last 10,000 rounds? My grand kids will let you know.

    • @toddk1377
      @toddk1377 9 місяців тому +1

      If you want a reliable shotgun on a budget, go with a Maverick 88. Reliable and budget in terms of semi auto shotguns mixes about as well as oil and water. People hyped up those Black Aces shotguns so much for a while there and when it came to a 500 round test, failure, big time. For the occasional weekend warrior, hey, have at it, but for anything serious or if you want a shotgun to last a lifetime, the investment is worth it.

      I'd suggest to not buy this shotgun on an impulse. Want a good reliable shotgun and don't have one, the Maverick 88 is a great option, otherwise I'd highly recommend saving up and buying the real deal, which has a reputation and a genuine warranty to back it up. My dad has gone through over five Turkish shotguns over the years because each one seems to have problems, pumps, semi autos, even some over and unders. I had a Remington 870 for almost 16 years with thousands upon thousands of shells fired through it and it never failed me. Then last year picked up a Beretta 1301 tactical and yeah it was pricey, it ran flawless and eats anything fed into it. It's worth the money for a quality investment if you ever plan to bet your life on it or if you're an avid shooter. For the occasional 20 shots here and there and maybe some hunting, then whatever floats your boat, but if you buy one and have an issue with it, you'll always be second guessing it's reliability, especially when you may need it most.

    Great review Eric. I have one that im customizing and i love ❤ it. I swapped the 5rd mag to 7rds and added a plus one extension so if i ghost load i can get 10 in 😁. Many other mods as well. My trigger is currently at Briley MFG to get the last parts to remain 922r complient. I cant wait to unveil the final product.

    Clearly a nice out of the box firearm at a fair price, needs no fuddish Gray Poupon scrutiny. I have a Made in Turkey 12ga Citadel semi and after it was properly tweaked it runs perfectly, no complaints for $200.00. I see lots of potential with the B clone.

    For those interested. I have the panzer, $400. My son has the Benelli $1800. We purchased at the same time. We did not tear them down, we did not shoot high brass first on either of them. We have been shooting them side by side and are now at 500 rounds each. Both going great. My other son shot both and we did not tell him which was which. Conclusion, he thought the Benelli had a little less recoil and the Panzer was easier to load. Thats it.

    The 26" Race gun M4 clone is exactly what I was looking for. I don't want a 18.5" shotgun because I actually use these to trap and skeet shoot every once in a while. Also the extra length just means more FPS. I was about to buy a Stoeger M2 Clone that was built out as a 3-gun race gun but this now interests me more.

    This ran pretty good so far and Benelli's patents may be up, but I will reserve judgement on the quality until I see a good old fashioned Turkish shotgun burndown. Maybe James Reeves already did one. I'll check. ** U P D A T E ** I checked James' video, and he reviewed an SDS Imports Tac 12 (another Turknelli). So, not this gun, although there he did provide a link to someone else who had similar issues with the Panzer Arms Eric has here (300 rounds).

      I would prefer James's test over theirs. Reason being, they could have cherry picked that gun(s) for good marketing where James would buy one like you or I would and run it as is. Sure, Panzer might be the exception to the rule, but even if it is or was, I'd still trust a well known quality shotgun by a manufacturer who has a reputation of reliable firearms like Benelli or Beretta, even at three to four times the cost.

    Hey recommendation buy a traxxas remote control truck and attach a moving target and have a buddy drive the truck around while you shot. And of course you want the target elevated 2-3 feet about truck like with metal or wood 1x1 or 1x2. It would make for more real life situations with a active shooter
