After the Bengals game it’s seems like the offense is taking a step backwards. They need to scheme up some things so the receivers can get some separation. I really feel that has been the biggest issue all year.
I’m already looking forward to the offseason to see what kind of magic Joe Hortiz is able to pull off with top 5 available cap space, a full offseason & draft. I have zero doubt that we will sign/draft one or more great offensive weapons for Herbert
Looks like the offense really struggled today. Q Johnston was a non factor again. Put DJ Chark out there to see what he can do. Give the ball to K Vidal more than 4 times. Do we keep Ladd out of the Chiefs game to insure he can heal for later games. Do you feel that Dobbins was put on IR to give him a reasonable time to come back for the playoffs. We know this team needs more depth on Offense for next year. TE, WR, and RB have to be big off season priorities.
Is McConkey the only receiver who gets open consistently? Without Dobbins we have no run game. These are big weaknesses as we head towards the playoffs. The defense needs to go above and beyond to carry us into January..

They have to get that offense rolling or they gonna be in trouble when they get to the playoffs. If they don’t make it to the playoffs. It is because of their offense.
The problem is we don't have a receiver that can stretch the field. Herbert is getting sacked because he has to hang on to the ball longer because nobody's getting open.

He's a solid WR3 at best, IF there's actual other good receivers around him so he can thrive with his strength of getting YAC. Otherwise, we're way too easy to defend with only underneath routes. Clogs up the running game also with a stacked box.

@ I agree, they also need to feed Edward’s, Haskins and Vidal the ball more to make up for Dobbins not playing.
