I want to talk just briefly about this #third #eye center business because it turns out to be pretty interesting. The #thirdeye is actually a name that's been given to another neural structure, where I should say, structure because it's not strictly neural and that's the #pineal #gland. And this has an interesting history, I promise i'm not taking off on a tangent here that isn't relevant to #meditation.
So you have a #brain of course, and on both sides of your brain you tend to have mirror symmetric representations of the same things. What do I mean by that? Well, you have a prefrontal cortex on the right, you have a prefrontal cortex on the left and they actually do slightly different things. Languages sometimes lateral eyes to one side, but in general for every structure that you have on one side of the brain you have the same structure on the opposite side of the brain. There's one clear exception to that and that's the #pinealgland. The pineal gland is the gland that makes #melatonin, which at night, when it gets dark, secretes melatonin and the melatonin makes you sleepy, helps you fall asleep but not stay asleep. Descartes right, The philosopher #Descartes asserted that the pineal was the seat of the soul because it was the one structure in the brain that he saw was not on both sides of the brain, it was only one of them and in the middle.

I don't think many of science people have the best position to tell everybody "you shouldn't believe this stuff, because what they learned about it is always as materiality, nothing else. Observation of material with material device, cannot see anything else than material conclusions.
No scientist has that authority. In fact no one PERIOD has that authority but that goes both ways, i.e. nobody has the authority to tell you there is spirituality, a soul or whatever at all. Consciousness is and always will be the "hard problem of consciousness" (an actual term) for all eternity. It's intrinically metaphysical, which of course implies that there is _something_ outside this universe but for all we know it could literally be mathematics and that's it.

I am one of the great students of such works & guides, and as such, can & will teach anyone anywhere the truths of existence which are beyond the Bible, astral projection, NDEs, psychics, levitating gurus, various scrolls, the Gnostics, YT spirtual influencers like Sadhguru, neuroscientists.. and ETs etc.
The problem on planet Earth, believe it or not, is that it is so devolved a realm/world ( 5 spheres of consciousness to be exact) that the average spiritualist doesn't know enough TRUTH in their subconscious/half-soul to be able to even start learning truth.. since your own discernment will betray you. Nearly all humans have deeply embedded falsehoods and/or trauma and/or cultural_indoctrinations in their subconscious which completely skew/color their reflexive discernment of events, experiences, and knowledge as one experiences those things as an incarnate.
In other words, educative CELESTIAL_ANGELICS and PRECIOUS_SEEMINGLY_UNKNOWABLE_TRUTH will be right in your face.. and you will just turn and walk away telling yourself an unknowing lie in the process about their likely lack of credibility or authenticity.
Here are a few DIVINE TRUTHS of existence (some specific regarding people to just make a point) which people somehow consistently manage to disregard as just meaningless words even though this message represents the greatest opportunity EVER.. in your whole life.. regardless of your current position in society.. prince or pauper.. or your current age.
1. You are a half-soul in your first life. You have 2 bodies,( spirit and material with both of those created by your biological Earth parents who are also NOT the parent of your consciousness)
2. There is no reincarnation and it can be explained exactly what happens to spirits who think they are reincarnating and where they end up.. etc.. etc.
3. Your sexual preference is determined by the gender of the other half of you incarnate on Earth within 20 years of your own birth
4. Hetero and homo are divine.
5. You will meet the other half of you by the time one of you as a half-soul has a love and truth development level in the soul equal to 5th sphere
6. Right-side bodily issues and ailments (and SONS as progeny) result from errors towards the masculine in one's half-soul. Conversely, errors towards the feminine (mom normally) produce left-bodily side ailments and accidents and daughters as progeny.
7. The designer of pyramid was named Anaxylabis and all records of his civilization have been destroyed. He came across my celestial teachers around 15000 years into his life as a spirit whereas German philosopher Immanuel Kant came acrsoss these teachers 113 years into his afterlife.. and was curious because of how bright & beautiful these spirit-beings were.
8. Yogananda (and Gandhi) converted to the absolute DIVINE_TRUTHS of existence a few decades of their passing and are now divine_angelics.. just like Abe Lincoln and Plato and Socrates... whereas Lao-Tzu and Buddha HAVE NOT so are stalled in 6th sphere of comparative happiness.

Your real family are (1) your other half - your soulmate (2) your soul parent, an infinite ENTITY who lives outside the created universe and would dearly like to connect with you and send you transformative DIVINE_LOVE.. with great emphasis on the word "transformative". and (3) your spirit-guides who have greater soul-rapport with you than your material parents.
10. Divine_Love from your real parent literally changes your soul_type from NATURAL_FINITE_MORTAL (with no divine spark) to DIVINE_INFINITE_IMMORTAL capable of living in celestial heavens 8th through 36th sphere
11. You will directly or indirectly cause your own death by your unhealed soul condition
12. You should live in the flesh up to 1000 years
13. The universe is completely SAFE and real death does not exist.
14. You THINK you are a truth-seeker, but if you pigeonhole or ignore this message and do not seek additional details with some zeal then you are NOT a truth-seeker. You just want your current viewpoint to be affirmed. So let me assist you there.
Earth is a 1st sphere planet. Very devolved... and human spiritualist know VERY LITTLE REAL truth. You, the reader, neither possess much truth currently NOR have any sort of divine_spark in you. It is NOT innate to the soul like everyone on Earth erroneously thinks.
15. God does not consult human collective opinon on what truth is. TRUTH is already completely defined and was before any soulful entities came into this universe, in fact. I’m going to disagree. They are talking about the pineal gland. The pineal gland when activated can act similar to a radio, picking up light waves of information, enabling you to perceive and download unseen data, which is why it’s referred to as the third eye. Also having the ability to turn the melatonin molecule into DMT, causing imagery and colors…third eye. The pineal gland has photoreceptors, rods, cones..There are several reasons why it’s called that which are not brought up in the video. Proper knowledge is important.

@@DeanGulberry69 What are you trying to say through your Deepak Chopra word salad? You sound about as goofy as those people that get influenced by a set and setting in Peru and think they had a mystical experience that told them what to do in life during an ayahuasca trip.
You talk about DMT, then about colours and the pineal gland convert melatonin into DMT, what? DMT is taken extrinsically and has an effect on various neural pathways and brain plasticity. I’ve done absolutely huge DMT psychedelic trips, where I had full out NDE experiences. Years later, I was even in a coma for 2 months following a brain injury from a fall into my head.
None of these experiences had me believing any voodoo about the pineal gland simply because of I didn’t let stupidity influence my experience.
It’s always funny that from the the ayahuasca trips and kundalini so called dmt releases, the Indian gurus of Peruvian shamans haven’t done squat for themselves or their countries other than earn a living off gullible white Americans.
I’d be absolutely a dimwit to think that some shaman, guru or Egyptian script understands basic science better than I do, when they didn’t even finish modern high school.

Respectfully, I disagree. I've been through this awakening, opened my 3rd eye, and it's undeniable.
Our external understanding of the world can absolutely limit our inner-standing of reality...I know, I used to be a scientist, but then something triggered a spiritual awakening, and I followed that path.
My life has changed dramatically. I was suffering from multiple chronic conditions that have all but vanished, severe mental health issues stemming from multiple traumas that have completely healed.

He who feels it, knows it. Anyone who has truly activated their third eye has felt it. It’s not a matter of belief, it’s a matter of knowing through the experience of feeling it. Just as you know a massage feels good because you’ve experienced it, felt it. It feels like pressure has been released from your brain. This you get this almost ticklish kind of feeling at the front of your head just above the brow and between the eyes. That feeling then permeates through the center of your brain and to the base of your skull where the spine and brain meet. It is a very relaxing feeling and it becomes more intense as you progress in meditation techniques. It’s usually begins with visualizations but the process can be sped up with REAL binaural beats. It’s an amazing experience that continues to expand till eventually you feel it through the spine and throughout all the body. You feel almost electrified and magnetized. It’s an odd sensation, but it feels better than a massage.

The pineal gland also has rods and cones just like your retina. It 100% is photoreceptive. So, regardless, if you can perceive a certain spectrum of light. That’s another reason why the pineal gland is referred to as the third eye.

I read that somewhere and I was going to comment on it. Thanks for mentioning it. I was going to do a search to find confirmation but don't have the time right now. But if indeed it does have rods and cones like the eyeballs have, then it certainly could give us the "perception" of light.
And the advanced meditators say that the experience of opening the 3rd eye is one of a bright light inside your brain. Hence the 3rd eye is NOT your frontal cortex as he erroneously thinks, I don't think he is being disingenuous though, he believes what his science is telling him. But the 3rd eye being the seat of consciousness and related to the pineal gland has been around for thousands of years. And the people who talk about it are no dummies, they are highly advanced meditation experts. Now there are times when we gain a better understanding of old knowledge through scientific research, I do not want to discount that either.
But unless you do the meditations or other practice to open the 3rd eye, also known as the 6th Chakra, you can't really judge it or compare it to some level of science which we know science can only go so deep in it's understanding.
The other issue where he is misleading is that meditation is to bring up all those memories and feelings inside your brain. That is not a goal. Only when you start meditation and your mind is untrained you have many many thoughts. That is ok and in some ways a good sign that your brain is working. As you progress in meditation you learn to quiet the brain, you can never completely stop all thinking, but as you reduce it it stops burning up all that energy and you can reach deeper states of consciousness. This is where you can have real breakthroughs in your development as a spiritual being.

I believe the pineal is the doorway to subconscious mind which is connected to the universal mind. And the third eye is our consciousness that can see thoughts and feelings.

C'mon Huberman, We need to talk. I was sitting with the saints in the Himalayas in 1981. They are 2 levels beyond meditating with no breath or heartbeat. You are right about the third eye and how it relates to the prefrontal lobe although the real 3rd eye is the north pole of the 6th chakra. We are tickling the astral body when we meditate and as we fully release our physical body in death, the astral body has been in us all along and we use that in the life after physical death. I've got 40 years of this study and meditation and can enunciate quite well how it all works and how we all end up as saints (no matter how many lives it takes). Best to you.

So when we see things when are eyes are closed we are using the point above the head because when I meditate I noticed I kinda move up a bit in my perception then the patterns might start purple and. Blue light it's magical
Jeff- There is no reincarnation. Your spirit-body is only guaranteed to develop up to 6th sphere. (Earth is 1st sphere). To go beyond 6th sphere..you must NOT look within..but learn from those with more LOVE & TRUTH in them than you (i.e. without).. and they themselves were able to transcend 6th sphere by receiving a specific external love energy that transforms one to a different kind of soul-type (and hence spirit-body) who may then continue on infinitely.

How would one explain the dozens of children now being taught how to see without their eyes (search: Children seeing without eyes) and when asked how they are seeing if not using their eyes they point right to the place of the pineal gland, and state that is where they are seeing from.

Not being funny, but he admitted he was wrong recently about Psychedelics....I fail to see how this debunks anything or proves it to be a myth, when I opened mine from a heroic dose of magic mushrooms, now I have enhanced spatial awareness and see more, can oil paint like I've been doing it for years, can sense the presence of other people and sense when someone is looking at me, I can automatically use the Fibonacci ratio when painting humans and trees, animals and children now very comfortable with me too, and im not Lying!

I've had a spiritual awakening and it's been great. I see beyond this illusion. We are trapped in a simulation and the 3rd eye is the key to escaping it. It has to be a gradual opening you can't force it and you also need to do spiritual healing as well.

I agree with you 100% for the same reasons. I remember the moment I was being physically born, coming out of my mother´s womb. I never tried any drugs as I grew up but had all kinds of spiritual, mystical, paranormal (use any term you want) experiences. You name them. I even had them before I even knew how to call them. I have never had or needed a "Kundalini or ayahuasca" experience to get to any higher state of consciousness that I have already experienced. Then again, that is only me, I am not saying I am right, just that everyone has their own way, that´s all. My grandmother was a "medium", very precise Tarot card reader, and she would always say I was the only one in my family with what she called "faculties" and it was true. After a long spiritual journey which included 20 years of practicing Christian life and ordained ministry, I am back to my roots, to my gifts, as different as they may sound from those annotated in any book. Peace.
We are not all precisely the same. How our bodies react and what experiences we all have, vary.

pretty cool, but doesn’t really dismiss the significance of the pineal gland, really just highlights how are definitions and allocations of words to the pineal are flawed
Sure sounds to me as though he is taking off on a tangent that isnt relevant to meditation. Those with knowledge of the pineal gland are well aware that light, does NOT directly hit the pineal gland! To suggest anyone is saying that is ridiculous! In short and without getting too technical, our eyes send a signal to the pineal gland through light sensors and cells. Also, the pineal gland is NOT the only exception to both sides of the brain. The cerebellum is a rather large gland in the lower back portion of our brains. Also, the hypothalamus in another gland that is not on both sides of our brain. There is quite a bit of empirical data and research with regard to the pineal gland and how it associates with the 3rd eye concept. Again, no one with knowledge is suggestion the pineal gland is the 3rd eye center. Certainly, THEY'RE LYING TO US, grabs our attention and is a neat way to get people to read or subscribe to his channel. Remember, do your own research and although the big bad wolf may be trying to lie to us, if you don't act like a sheep, you'll be just fine! The activation of the 3rd eye as it relates to the pineal gland is a practice that has been done for thousands of years for a reason, IT WORKS. Clearly his interpretation is subjective still, to suggest we are being lied to, is really nothing more than those who are ignorant to the subject and simply do not know what they are talking about....case in point...watch this video!

Sounds to me that someone here has heard about Sexual Alchemy....Brother, someone needs to set the record straight. This info has been so muddied and diluted over the ages that the truth is hard to discern now. I sense that you are a genuine seeker though, so I will try to help... Because if so, my brother, you are misinformed. Meditation is not merely a process of concentration. It is also process of imagination. Utilising both concentration and imagination we are able to access expanded, timeless states of consciousness for a myriad of purposes. We can access knowledge from past lives, we can travel out of the body, we can heal ourselves and others... The list is really very long. If you are truly interested in a more complete understanding of meditation, may I suggest the Meditation Essentials podcast series from Glorian Publishing on Spotify? Glorian also has a UA-cam channel, the content is excellent. The first one or two episodes of the podcast highlight the importance of the third eye and accessing imaginative states during meditation. If you just want to work directly on the 'powers' I suggest the Gateway Experience from the Monroe Institute. I mean, if it's good enough for the CIA it must be good enough for us too right? I totally agree. For me it's happening alot lately. It's present at the base of my skull, centering towards the middle frontal lobes. It is awesome and it always makes me feel deep! I'm not educated but it's always acted as a indicator,a since of heightened awareness in certain times.
For me it's not about receiving an Information through sensing nerves. You create a map with your Imagination and lay it over body structures. So, i imagine my breath as light, it's totally unimportant, if my lunges have light receptors. The Imagination creates a bodyfeeling and is a placeholder where i don't have nerves. This is the whole point. It's like Phantom pain in reverse for good Feelings, you create a structure, fill it with energy and bridge it over the gaps, that need this feeling. You create then Information. Senses are overrated :D
Our pineal gland was pure when we were kids.... it has become calcified over time.
And toxicated with violence and hate. War games and movies are the standard genre should tell alot. Guns and violence are a normal everyday topic in many places. same with life, everything is threatened by one button between nations these days. to play on peoples emotions and keep them in fear vibrations.

The truth is usually hidden in sci fi movies or childrens novel so its ridiculed when someone speak of it. So many more to go in depth with. But you get the point. Its dominant force of energy that people take for safe cus thats what they know. And they can rely on the government to do all the work for them. Cus authority know best. I find a good way to meditate is to take a walk. I try to use my sense of smell, my sense of hearing and my sense of sight in succession. I try to sniff out the scent of automobile exhaust, people, dogs, trees, flowers, shift to listening to what is occurring behind me and to either side: traffic, birds, bees. I then Shift to my focus of sight: from the ground to either side and up to the trees and sky above looking for any kind of movement. It tends to overwhelm the progression of thoughts through my mind. This tends to quite my mind for an extended period f time afterward and I don't really have to make much effort. Just pay attention to all my senses. My brain is not used to this level of concentration so it can be quite tiering mentally.
Nothing he is saying takes away from the mystical experiences guys. Remember the mind is not the brain. The brain just processes the stimuli that is picked up by your mental emotional and physical bodies. Once you get past the mental matrix is when your mystical experiences begin to happen. He isn’t wrong and he certainly is not taking anything away from anyone. If we choose not to understand we have no right to act like we know anything. The reactions are simply based of DESIRE and what you and your emotions DESIRE to hear. And as anyone should be aware… DESIRE is the root of all suffering.

Interesting perspective. I don't normally hear of the pineal gland being referred to as the seat of consciousness, outside of Descartes calling it the seat of the soul. It is usually linked with the awakening of higher levels of perception, allowing one to perceive things outside of the normal sensory range. This enhancement of perception can enhance the connection with ones higher consciousness, and that can lead to an enhanced state of being, in an individual that is properly prepared for such things. It can also lead to madness if one is not properly prepared.
if the pineal gland doesn't react to sensory stimuli, then it kind of makes sense to focus on such an organ if what you want is precisely to not think. if you bring your awareness towards sensory stimuli, then you're gonna be thinking about such sensory stimuli which means you are not meditating.

It looks like he completely misunderstands the reason behind focusing on 3d eye- and I don't even think about myself as experienced meditator. Your thoughts and feelings rush in and create this monkey's mind as soon as you remove external point of focus by simple closing your eyes. I have had my third eye open when I was much younger about 25 years ago. It was open for 4 years. I had OBEs and could be in several rooms of my house at the same time. I think this person may see a part of the truth. And it is his truth, but it's not everyone's experience.
The light emitted from various magnetic crystals in your skull is what the pineal gland responds to, our brains are not sitting in eternally dark, wet caverns.

Yes well this is incorrect, the 3rd eye is a focal point to access the medulla oblongata which is the master of the autonomic nervous system. I could demonstrate the association with a simple exercise that would allow you to understand this connection. Furthermore, if we vibrate or Hum, and make sure we are stimulating the skull bones we can indirectly vibrate the pineal gland and influence the release of Melatonin (in higher dosages this can evolve into DMT) which may allow changes in consciousness. You can research this in any biochemistry book. This video is just an example of a human ego trying to convince itself that it is in control. I have practiced with these structures for 20 years and find it so silly when another person with no experience, tells me that my experience is incorrect. If we just change the terminology we are speaking about the same things but that in itself does not matter, what matters or all that matters is gnosis. The purpose of meditation is to remove the connection between the mind (5 senses, emotions etc…) and the reality of who we are (one divine God, or singularity or whatever you would like to name it). This separation, this traditional idea of dualism which every modern philosopher and “scientist” speaks against, is the place where you will discover the truth. You cannot just let your ego make up rules a narrative and convince yourself that is truth. Truth is not something you can make up, like the scientific process, truth is only found through direct experience. Eventually everyone, will come to understand these things when they die and shed the ego, when they finally get free. Until then enjoy the ride everybody.

I can clearly feel inside my brain. If there are no sensory nerves, then I can feel also without them. I am a seasoned terraveda lineage vipassana practicioner, I focus all of my attention in a dot and move this dot trough my body, sensing and feeling with clear mind everything in that dot. I can feel diferent frequencies in diferent tissue and in boundaries like skin, bones and indeed ventricles and glands inside the brain. The sensations inside (or under the skin) are much more subtle than on skin, and for some time I belived I feel nothing in the brain area, it was just blank, but as I decreased the frequency of my attention dot, I could and now effortlesly can, feel the walls of ventricles, glands, movement of CSF and pumping of blood inside. I can also feel inside my bone and I scanned a bone deformation I had only seen in x-ray before. I know it sounds like I’m imagening these things, but I guarantee they are absolutely real and I can teach the technique to those willing to learn.
You feeling the brain as you scan it from the perspective of your mental and energy body is not the same as the brain actually feeling through physical nerve sensations. For example, if someone is unconscious or anaesthetized, they will not feel contact with their skin. The person touching them, however, will feel absolutely feel the contact.

Man….this was the first video where I feel like I was being taught to interact with ego and matter over focusing on going within….it’s different. I’m guessing you can find these people and putting them in an MRI or something like me and Reveell San amazing results . Also, just because the brain does not have any sensations does it mean to the penal gland,

I’ve been finding myself along this path and definitely feel but trying to awake my third eye over and over feels so comforting. When I meditate though and my thoughts come rushing in, I verbally say and record my thoughts, they may be random like he says but there’s common things that come up a lot to work on.
I’ve had great success chanting the old word for God, HU. The mind wanders, & I don’t worry about it, and HU 20 or more min. Everyday anyway. Now there are many HU channels on UA-cam to HU with. One channel has amazing quotes. We can also HU before dozing off, & ask to recall dreams & ask for spiritual support. No negative intent can persist when I HU, & it’s given me great protection. My 3rd eye Mya tingle or not, it doesn’t matter, or the focus can be on the crown chakra instead. BC of the pure love within the HU, the gifts have been many, like time travel via dreams, seeing the future, healing physically & emotionally, and the recall of 20-some past lives on my own. The sky is the limit, I just have to ask for spiritual help.

It’s a personal experience. Only know it’s real when you experience. Interesting video. One of my favorite meditations is breathing in what I’m sensing with my 5 senses and exhaling their essence. The feeling of both washes over me. The spirit and physical become one and the connectedness of all things becomes real. Amazing
Dear Andrew, let me report you about my experience with meditation. When I close my eyes it is not pitch black even if the room I'm in is pitch black. I see brighter areas that move around, flow, move. For some time I played around with what I see with closed eyes. Follow these patterns and just watch it. What happens very often when I do this is that I start to see things clear as if I look at them with open eyes. Most of the time this latst for a second or two. Once however I followed these light patterns until the patterns got clearer and cleaer as I learned to manipulate these patterns. And just once in my life it became so clear that it pulled me right into a dream while I was fully awake. I never managed to recreate this but since this experience the Yogi culture and what they say just makes much more sence. Religion is all based around the possibility of some people to enter this dream world in meditiation. Like mohamed went into the desert and met god. Ppl seeing angles, have visions. When this happend to me I recogniced a face becoming clearer and clearer until a valkyrien angle glowing in a golden light showed itself. Even more fascinating was the way the dream build up itself. A flat surface rushed in and all objects were just flat like a picture until they reached its position. This happend really fast. Then however all object flipped up from this flat surface so they apear 3D but seeing how this all happend was mind boggeling. I shit you not. Opening the third eye in my opinion is to get to this place where you not just lucid dreaming but are fully awake in your mind entering the dream world.
Let me tell you after 8 years trying and listening to all UA-cam videos about 3rd eye opening and meditation and the results after 8 years is nothing. Nothing happens

Activating your third eye is a personal and undeniable experience. Life events can absolutely trigger spirituality and the need to activate your third eye. The experience is a sense beyond touch, sound, sight, smell…. It is not earthly. It is a gift from the energy that is all of us. One consciousness. Love.
imagine every person who opened their third eye, just learned what common sense is.
I wake up 1.5-2 hours before sunrise. Not by choice everyday, but some days I do have to get up that early for work. I wake up exhausted, most days. I usually go to sleep early. I wake up as tired as I was the night before.
These are common tips that help: Stop going to sleep early. Make sure you physically exert yourself enough earlier in the day to NEED to sleep. An hour or two before bed, begin turning lights down, avoid using devices/blue light. Use your bed ONLY for sleep/intimacy. Do NOT go to bed until you're ready to sleep. And don't let yourself "sleep in" on the weekends to catch up, keep your schedule. I do hope this helps. 😴

I'm going to share my own experience. When I sit in the dark with my eyes closed. I turn my attention inward. My awareness is focused on itself. My mind is quiet. I can see what appears to be light waves flowing out in a circular rhythm. Very rarely I have seen a flickering light. I have no idea what this is but it's something I see.
Yes, I see this as well. And depending on what state, in the beginning, it will be kind of like you said a circle and it’s moving in waves. I can’t really control it just flows. But when I get deeper I can actually get it to form a stable ball that just sits there and I noticed it’s usually if I do things like moving my feet left and right and doing things with my left and right hand and this is hard to explain but trying to look through my left and right eye differently and I feel like I’m trying to sync my left and right atmosphere.
This is all usually earlier in meditations, I have some crazy, hyper realistic, visions that come when I start to get to wear I’m about to start dreaming, but don’t actually fall asleep, it’s just right when that daydream ability kicks in but you don’t let your self fall asleep. You let that feeling of falling asleep kind of happened autonomously but maybe do some deep, breathing body movements or some of this is hard to explain but there’s definitely a difference between looking at the back of your eyelids, and then using whatever that sensory ability is to see things in the mind for me it’s powerful enough that sometimes if there’s a light or a light flash, it can be blinding as if there was a real light.
You have much to learn brother.
Stop looking the world from outside of you,and start looking within you.

that's interesting I've been meditating a lot lately have a feeling of looking down on radio sounds trapped in a box. And this kinda confirms it. It was like wow all these random sounds going here and there.
To me this points to 2 different meditation methods. Focus on something external for basic meditation, focus on that prefrontal cortex if you are searching for a more personal specific meaning.
What about the nerve endings and blood vessels of the eyes themselves reaching the gland?? Just a thought
I have to disagree, as would every spiritual person that ever lived. Why was there absolutely no mention of dimethyl tryptamine (DMT). A chemical created by the pineal gland.
The pineal gland produces an excess of DMT as we die or have a near death experience. This is the chemical that causes the out of body experience. It’s what makes us dream. It’s literally the stuff that dreams are made of, and as we all know, there is plenty to “see” in our dreams. Even with our eyes closed. This is the 3rd eye that allows us to see what our 2 eyes do not.
Please don’t seek your spiritual knowledge and wisdom from a scientist. Their inability to remove themselves from the physical aspects of reality hinders their understanding of the non physical universe.
Having said this, I still respect this man and his knowledge in the world of science. I just feel he wondered into territory that’s best left to the spiritual world. You can argue that there is a science to spirituality, but this is not it.

Melanin activates the pineal gland. It absorbs light and energizes the pineal gland and the rest of the body which regulates serotonin and melatonin. So yes light does hit the pineal gland through melanin. This video is addressing focus and feelings not the pineal gland.
This guy obviously knows what he's talking about however he's oblivious to the things he doesn't understand. He's basically saying that there are no nerves in the brain that give conception of feeling or sensation. And in this he's right but he's not quite right. The overwhelming part of that that puts him not right is this. In any electromagnetic system you will have electromagnetic resonance in other words if you took a brain out and put it on the table it would still be connected through something called quantum entanglement. Just hav a few questions.why do we have a light sensitive organ deep inside our brain where it isn't supposed to recieve light as he says in the video. Y do we feel head aches if there aren't any neurons there in the brain, so where do the aches originate. I personally,unknowingly, did a meditation method only once to clearing my mind of negative thoughts for a second or two with my eyes opened, amazing to me afterward as I realized my mind stopped being flooded with uncontrolled thoughts of negative influence and has changed me ever since. The change experienced in the mind was immediate and it really was magical. I did it once only and never had to do it again as it Had permanant effects. we'll now after watching this video I'm tryn to figure out about the gland or the cortex, which could it be.

This was really interesting for me. When I think about meditation sometimes it’s confusing where to land my attention. But I know that it’s about being present and quiet. So not focusing on what people call the third eye which as you described is not the pineal gland, it’s not the right landing place for me because as you describe it brings up emotions thoughts and memories. Rather to be generalized and in contact with the external and the surrounding as part of the moment I am in -that’s what I got out of this section of the talk. Helpful.
Your level of consciousness allows you to experience third eye awakening. Your lack of openess affects your ability to see it. Observer effect. 🤷🏾♂️

Good to know. Could you say more about how the pineal gland in humans indirectly interacts with light and darkness to release melatonin, etc? I'm guessing it happens through our eyes which you say are an extension of our brain?
This is perfectly reasonable. In my experience, the 3rd eye is often called the brow chakra for a reason. I sense it to be frontward. Not that the pineal gland is spiritually irrelevant.
I think the third eye activates when it is aligned with the pineal, pointed where your eyes and ears are pointed.

So if the pre-frontal cortex is turned off or damaged and a person played a first person shooter video game, they would be very accurate, like a machine, yet would lack the ability to distinguish friend from enemy. Could this help to explain the rise in real life active shooter events? Not suggesting gaming causes it, but enough people have damage to that area of of the brain (environmental, or chemical, could that be the root cause of real life active shooters?

It would certainly be interesting to study the shooter’s brains. I would guess it has more to do with our culture versus damaged prefrontal cortex but it’s an interesting thought.

I learned that the prefrontal cortex could be damaged by addiction, it can be damaged following traumatisms.
You're a skeptic and spiritually dead. It's okay to be who you are. But when you impose your skeptic views out in the open, you can discourage a person from discovering their true potential. That's not okay. Someone made the comment and suggestion for you to take some time to meditate and grow spiritually. I totally agree with that.

And this is one of the reasons they say us westerners lack knowledge and understanding, plus spirituality. It’s a back story about the pineal gland and why they conquer Kemet. And from what I understand, the people who conquer Kemet, they couldn’t understand what was going on or what people of Kemet was experiencing. Or it might have been Egypt. I use to work with this man and if you first meet him, he comes across as weird.
