Twilight's reaction to finding out that her daughter's being bullied remains me of my own dad when he had to call the school to inform them that I wouldn't be there the next day cause some girl sprayed me with hair spray which caused me to break down crying to the point my little sister had to tell our dad why I was crying and he was so peeved. I was throwing up from crying that's the main reason why he kept me home.

@connorcook4888 I've already brought this up the first time I commented about this, but this just proves how Celestia sucks at her jobs on top of actually being dismissive and biased towards the actual victim!
Cadence, Shining Armor and Twilight are no better either. they all could have done better of disciplining that little hell spawn but instead they just gave her a slap on the wrist and that's what really angers me the most, they heard and even acknowledged the issues themselves but yet they still continue to do barely little about it.
I'm so glad to know that there are other people that also agrees that harmonia was wrongfully punished and was indeed the victim, and that she doesn't deserve to be treated the way that she was

watched this all and holy sugar this was fantastic!!! This has got to be one of my favorite audiodramas.

I love harmonia's character, in a strange sense i could relate with her epically with crystal, "man i felt the want to punch that twit so hard" i unfortunately have a cousin like crystal and my cousin kinda hates my guts in real life. Lucky cadence and shining were kind enough to help, wish that was my case lol! I also love tempests and harmonia's heart to heart that was just wholesome! And Oooo what a cliffhanger i cant wait to see what it may be. But anyway, i love the artwork as well and voice actors and actresses! Vocal sweets i love your story and you and your crew have done an amazing job! I hope to continue watching for what may come!
the fact is that Celestia has the audacity to punish harmonia for defending herself is very sickening and infuriating.
and also another thing is is that Shining Armor and Cadence could be much better parents but yet sucks at not kicking their young child and their flank so hard and punishing them severely because of her stupidity is also very infuriating.
and once again Twilight Sparkle is proven to be no better than Celestia and her idiotic brother and sister-in-law, defending and supporting her daughter one moment and then feeling the need to punish her. and for what reason, for defending herself?
I'm not going to lie that moment when Celestia said to harmonia that there would be Justice for her I actually praised Celestia and was quite happy to hear that she was starting to take a good step forward, but then turning around and being like..."Crystal may be in trouble for bullying you, but you're not exactly innocent either since you defended yourself and apparently that's a No-No in my school. never mind I witnessed Crystal's Behavior towards you and promised you some proper retribution but you're also going to be punished for engaging and trying to protect yourself from this little heathen, even though that I believe in equality to some extent I obviously don't believe in ponies and or creatures defending themselves from Attack unless it's convenient for me to say otherwise. again I'm fully well aware that you had every right to defend yourself but apparently not in this case even though I acknowledge what Crystal had done and still doing to you is very wrong but I still refuse to get off my Royal Honchole, and the only time I'm doing so as of like now for instance it's because it's convenient for me."
in what freaking world does what Celestia did to harmonia make any flipping sense!?
Cadence, Shining Armor and Twilight are no better because even they agree that they both should be punished, it goes back to what I said 1 minute Twilight is actually being better than Celestia and then the next minute she's pulling a Celestia and not in a good way.
another thing is is that the family is refusing to do anything, sure it looked like they were starting to actually get off there Royal Honchole and start doing something for once in their miserable piece of crap lives. but at the end of that meeting especially when Cadence is like hopefully "this will do them both good" just really makes my blood boil.
even in the actual Cannon show when they were all being just as useless as ever and also being drugged with dumbass pills like they are being here, I always want to reach through the screen of the episodes and beat the sense back into their equestrian forsaken brains.
sad to say audio dramas like this ain't no different because that's how I'm feeling right now, especially when they're being idiots and you would think after the past years of learning from their mistakes they would be smarter than this.
I always said before to a friend of mine when it comes to the Canon episodes, if one of your grand plans is to make characters hateable and almost to the point of in redeemable, it's being done way too well.
why you would want to have one of Cadence and Shining Armor's kids become a little freaking twitch is beyond me, another thing that's beyond me is what in the actual live in Tartarus went wrong for her to become a little Satan?
and since this little piece of crap made it quite clear that she is a racist little twitch, Shining Armor, Cadance, Twilight and Celestia should severely punished her sorry ass.
she made it quite clear that she's not going to change and she's going to continue to Target harmonia all because of her being different and also to fill that little twitch of an ego.
and for this other future little bully that claims to know Twilight somehow, I won't deny that I'm very curious to see how is that possible and what the plan for her is.
and if that thing in the bushes at the end was that same unicorn or perhaps maybe Crystal or someone else that's ironically worse than both of them.
so in conclusion...for now at least, hated how most of these characters were portrayed and hated how harmonia was punished for defending herself, hated the fact that this little twitch Crystal basically just got a slap on the wrist. once again I lost faith in Celestia and Twilight, even lost faith in shining armor and Cadence. sad to say unless there's improvements on their ends I lost faith in almost all of them already named the top ones, hope Celestia actually does something flipping useful for a change and not fall back on the whole punishing an innocent for defending themselves. if one of your plans was to make one of the descendants of one of the characters hateable you did a pretty fine job of doing that, if you have an idea on where you're going with the idea of Crystal being a little twitch to her cousin for no reason at all because that she's a hybrid I'm curious to find out.
despite the negativity I have with the characters this was overall pretty fun to watch and I can't wait for the next one to come out whenever that will be.
As much as words can hurt someone to the point of physically hitting back, that is not a "fair trade" when one thinks of "an eye for an eye". It should be equal, not go beyond. Words against words is one thing, but if one comes back with physical violence then the first offender is the one that has gotten the greater injustice. Then that one fights back harder, and then the victim fights back harder, and can escalate to a feud, and even war. But in the world of ponies, even revenge isn't the answer. Forgiveness is the "only" tolerated behavior.
Under many IRL laws, if you are bullied, but the bully gets a black eye from you, they have a physical evidence they can use against you. So what one has to figure out is how to defend oneself under such oppressive laws, IRL or fiction. Now, there is an answer, it is a simple answer, but can be very hard to execute: let the words fly over you. A lot of bullies just want to see reactions. No reaction, no fun, and they leave you alone. If they get physical with you, now YOU have the evidence to convict them with.
Now, how can Crystal be so evil despite such loving parents? That is a good question. One could look at some details like she has no wings while her sister does (and also first born), which means she is acting on suppressed envy. Maybe she wasn't 100% raised by her parents but needed to be foalsatt and they were a bitch. Or as any other fanfic would excuse a pony's dark side with: possessed by evil spirits (e.g. Luna). Or we find out she was just born evil like Cozy Glow.
@appleshy5119 I cannot stand injustices like that in fiction. I despise seeing the victim be punished. I like how Discord conventisntly wasnt present at the meeting. If he was, he would have shot that crap down and put Celestia in her place. He would have defended his daughter. Harmony should have been comforted and sent home. I guess the characters took stupid pills that morning lol, or like you said, dumbass pills 😂
@@Edward256 I won't deny that you do make a couple of good points, but however in real life laws you also have the right to defend yourself if you're being harassed or bullied.
sure it's best to try to start doing this the smartest and peaceful way you can think of, but unfortunately if that doesn't work because no right mind adult chooses to help the victim then the victim is left with no choice to take matters in their own damn hands and sometimes it won't be pretty.
the victims can only handle physical and verbal abuse for so long before they finally decide it's time to take matters in their own hands, I think everyone is fully well aware that the real life laws of this world is morally F'D UP horribly. and for school districts, families and public protection that gets both sides of the stories and knows exactly what's going on but refuses to do anything about them are a bunch of dumbasses and they shouldn't even be working for the public safety at all, especially if you fail to punish the guilty party but you also go after the victims when they had every right to defend themselves from these horrible people. not to mention the contradictions of "don't let anybody bully you and if they keep it up report them and if that doesn't work and they get physical, you have every right to defend yourself and knock them on their ass. especially if it's well deserved."
and then after when shit hits the fan and start punishing the victim after the bully took it from Beyond verbal and went to physical, most people that truly do work for actual Justice and that actually does care for the safety of the people and their care and that are not corrupted pieces of dung would actually do their job and punish who deserves it. and leave the victim alone especially if they were just defending themselves and they had every right and reason to.
a lot of laws are very controversial and contradicting especially the right to defend yourself if you're being bullied, and if you have some kind of evidence to prove that you are not in the wrong to punch someone's lights out then if they're smart and actually are concerned about the situation they will leave the victims alone and punish the bully or bullies that had no business not right to harass and Bully the victim.
and what's Celestia did was a fine example of what not to do, do not punish the victim when they're putting a bully in their place because you're too dumb to step in and actually put the bully in their place yourself.
in my opinion it should be a lot easier because Celestia is supposed to be the ruler of all the Equestria on top of add technically being her prized student's in-law now, and put that natural Superior blinding charm to good use by actually telling families or in your case your own family of this little brat who's a constant little piece of scum that's harassing and being horrible to her cousin for no reason all because she's different and it doesn't respect the fact that she's family and she has no right to be this way towards her. convince Shining Armor and Cadence bust this little brat of a daughter's ass and knock some sense into her before somebody else other than harmonia does it and it will not be pretty, play snowing that Crystal is supposed to be the Empress of Love's daughter will definitely have a bad reputation on that side of the Royal Family..
even though that the laws in the real world are stupidly contradicted and not much of True Justice anymore, doesn't mean some fantasy place like Equestria should turn a blind eye and do the exact same thing unjustified. and buy some experience in the My Little Pony Universe sometimes you have to bust your ass to show that you do deserve and that's capable for forgiveness.
and let's say if you were in that situation that harmonia was, constantly verbally harassed and bullied by your own cousin who for some reason hates you all because you're what she calls a "half breed", how long would you be able to handle the constant verbal torment before you suddenly snap?
let's also not forget the fact that right in front of Celestia this little brat Crystal had the audacity to dump some form of coffee on harmonia's head, personally I see that as a physical form of attack and I'm pretty sure some people might also see that the same way.
and again let's say you are in harmoniou's shoes or let's say that happened to you, would you really let that person regardless if their family member or not get away with treating you like that and dumping any type of food or drink onto you for no reason?
would you really just sit there and let them verbally and physically attack you?
would you really not want Justice for how you're being treated especially since it's no reason?
and despite a teacher witnessing that nonetheless for themselves but yet also chooses to punish you because of knocking that scumball on their ass?
and not to mention one minute it seems that your family is on your side and then the next minute they believe despite the fact that you are a victim they still choose to allow the teacher and or principal to punish you as well, never mind the actual guilty party is just going to get a slap on the hand and then get off scot-free while you're seen as the villain despite evidence against this person that they are the villain?
not to mention members of your own family seen this little brats true colors or at worst snowing about them and choosing not to do a damn thing until it's convenient for them?
and again despite you being in the absolute right to defend yourself they still believe you should be punished as well because you were just trying to protect and defend yourself cuz you felt attacked...or in this case, ATTACKED!?
you didn't do anything wrong to that said family member or kid and yet you're somehow still getting punished all because you're trying to defend yourself, before you answer any of those questions I advise you to think long and hard.
because even though thankfully some of us was lucky enough to never experienced that severe bullying, that doesn't mean we still weren't targets to any bullies. some of us had to experience our own form of bullying and yet the teacher didn't do a damn thing despite the fact that they were completely aware of it, or Worse the teacher was a bully themselves.
some of us are also lucky enough to actually have parents that has the cojones to not just tell these teachers off and call them out about how much of a horrid job they're doing but also to the bullies family as well, and knowing that a family member is part of that bully group will just make it much worse for family ties and themselves. So a family that truly loves their child and that's been harassed by their own cousin for instance for no reason except for the fact that there are other cousin is a quote on quote half-breed, and they can't accept the fact that that Uncle slash aunt and their cousin is part of their family even though those individuals did nothing wrong to that other individual or the other members of the family.
I don't know about you but if that was my cousin I would have not only knocked her on her ass but also tell that cousin that I feel the exact same way as they feel about me, although unlike them I actually have a good reason to not see them as a family member or my equal.
so yeah there are some of us that were lucky enough to not experience the severe bullying but then there are those of us who weren't so lucky, and the bully victims that weren't defend by their own families plus people they also thought they could trust to be there for them. I can only imagine they must see red every time when they watch this from some kind of form of media, having real life elements sprinkled into it on top of showing that even in some form of fantasy sometimes there's still no actual proper Justice.
so with all of this said at least for now, think about the questions that I've previously asked long and hard and put yourself in that scenario before you decide to respond back.

definitely makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who agrees. even though I consider this as a rage episode I still can't personally wait for the next one, I really hope the upcoming BS that happens between that little brat and the others showing and doing improper Justice will actually have their heads pulled out of their asses.

@@appleshy5119 Yeah, I really wish Discord was there when that exchange happened. He would have done something immediately. This trope has always pissed me off. I know it reflects reality but u feel at the same time it kind of perpetuates it. Harmonia was the victim and should have been treated as such and comforted, not punished. I have a string sense of moral justice 😅
I'd like to say a few words, ones that were the highlight of this episode for me. First of all, I want to put in the words that I love the effort the VA's went into for the character roles. Vocal picked out the best in what they do and they do not disappoint one bit. Anything that I have to say in this comment is not by any means directed at them, their performance was top notch on how they portrayed the character so view at your own discretion at this point because I'm about to shell a character with a barrage of distaste. Now that's out of the way, what were the highlights? Well, for one?
1. Crystal. SIT DOWN BRO XD. JEWEL BLISS BE SPEAKING THE TRUTH MAN! "I feel sorry for your parents! They had to raise a brat such as yourself! Flurry Heart knows it too!" At this point this is classic telenovela karma but SIT THE FRICK DOWN XD. I am enlightened by this! SOMEPONY GET THE "Dunce" cap and PUT HER IN THE CORNER XD.
2. After the season recap, the immediate introduction to the episode was spot on, I love the animations that came into it, something that was awe strucking at first XD. Was the best thing I've seen and I hope by the coming episodes we'd see more of these.

If I may offer some advice, I noticed that a few of the scenes change/fade in and out at a rather fast pace. In some cases, that's required, in some others (like the last scene at Harmonia's party or when she goes to Twilight and Discord's room), you can spread the black screen for a few more seconds, perhaps 4-5 seconds at maximum. I hope it's helpful. ^^

But we all have our own feel for timing. I think 5 seconds of black is too long, some may think it is too short. Maybe expand the fade to five seconds for both the end of the party and the start of the story reading...? ponders deeply
I definitely think it depends on the scene, sometimes the scene needs a prolonged fade to add to the suspense or something to that extent. Thanks for your feedback Bees!

Great story. I really enjoy it. Before the other segment of the story. Where Celestia seems saddened. When Twilight and Discord got married. Did Celestia had great feelings for Discord? Did she love him? And let him slip through her hooves. That is sad that Celestia didn't express her feelings for Discord. I wonder if she'll have Discord in a private place. Where she will tell him, even though that Discord and Twilight are married. But who knows? Just have to wait for the next segment of the story. Can't wait for it. Later bye.
