Milan was THE concert. These guys were so ON. I remember this when I was in my 20's. I love this song, but the big track from this show was 3 days, but this song is SO raunchy. I love it so much.
When they were on and in the mood to play ....their shows were absolutely the greatest live performaces I have ever seen. They were legit religious experiences. Love this band!
I concur. Saw them on the Nothing's Shocking tour twice, then on the Ritual tour three times and every time they just blew my mind. I saw them much later when they reformed and I'm sorry to say, the original spark had gone. Still good though.
The early days of this (and most) bands are just SOOOOOO much more committed and shall we say "in the moment" than later on, after the years of "playing the jukebox" live kills any artful statements Say what you will about drug use (yes alcohol too) but Rock and/or Roll would be a mighty different entity without their myriad influences... if it existed at all...
Such a powerful performance and band at the time..simply amazing..I love the part were Perry has his eyes closed then goes to sing next line but the mic 🎤 had fallen off stand without him knowing 😜👍 I love Avery’s bass playing..so great..thank you boys!
this is one of the greatest things Ive ever seen
Joseph Naranjo lucky bastard!!! 😃
UA-cam says," You're Welcome!" :) Later...
dammit...I wish I would've seen them at least once...
It is fucking remarkable.
quite grand, isn't it though.

I've seen Jane's Addiction play live over 50 times since 1988. They are always f#cking incredible, but they were are the peak of their powers in 1990.
It's such good quality i thought for a second JA had turned cool again...

eric avery has the greatest basslines EVER 🤘🏻😎
I play this line immediately on every P bass that I pick up.
I ordered on VHS back in the 90's.. we are blessed ala you tube
Yeah, bootleg video from an Italian MTV broadcast. That's the primo rare shit.
It's amazing how you can take a grimey, sad junkie story and make a goddamn anthem out of it. Art is really alchemy.
Back on high school... This line killed me: "I love them whores they never judge you
What can you say when your a whore?"

Eric Avery the true Jane's
yep.
Are you kidding?he is great. But janes is perry and Dave and I have been listening to them since 1987! The first lollapassos
His basslines were magnificent, he gave a dark/goth touch that made the JA's sound so special.
@@antonioramani8119 agreed
Damn right. Eric Avery runs this band!
Use to throw acid parties in highschool and I know I freaked people out by just playing this on VHS. I couldn’t imagine how seeing this live would be.
Incredible quality of video, looks like it was shot yesterday!
Maybe the BEST rock´n´roll band EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet!!! Drums sound amazing to be shot so long ago
agreed
I saw them on this tour. Amazing show.
Eric Avery is fucking CUT like a Roman god
I was there,23 years ago.
Best of their many killer songs...
Damn. I would have flown to Italy for this concert. I was too wasted in college parties that year in Cali.
Edgar Arenas Cali Colombia?
Gabo Murinho California. Lol
Damn, Eric Avery is just straight gettin' jiggy wit' it. So nice to see.
Goddamn they sound fantastic.
This performance brought to you by four men who absolutely wanted to murder each other at this point in time.
The best
theyre still great live
@ShindaiLoversBand buy the curiosity boxed-set and you get this dvd included. not the entire show but that's where this is from.
Navarros riff at 1:00 👅🤘🏻
Raw hereon induced art. Keith Richards & Lou Reed were proud, im sure. Fuckin awesome shit!
Dont forgot s.r. Vaughn and Clapton.
Yes. They aren't this cool anymore.
What can you say? Getting old sucks...
❤
The greatest thing ever!!!
Luckily I was there... Great night!
Prime Janes man
You can hear it in Perry's voice.
Also clearly visible in that sequence of karate punches.
Great song
Yay! I hear that Baby! I'd do ANYTHING to be there- wonder if that'll be my Heaven one day? I hope so...
Where can I see this whole concert?
Back when Navarro meant something....
RavnerRavner Navarro always means something. Great rock guitarist.
Dave Navarro always means something. what the fuck are you on
@Nigel Sanford i’m 14 and i know Navarro is badass 💀
@Nigel Sanford jane’s addiction is in fact very revolutionary, and perry’s weirdness and navarros chords only made it better
no tats on dave lol
Powerful
Way down low where the streets are littered!
I find my fun with the freaks and the UA-cam will ban me!
Oh that’s why music sucks today…
Let us travel back to city gardens nj
Rock and roll is here to stay, you bastards!
Io ci ero porcoddue
I am scared for Navarro's soul.
brandon242 what do you mean
but they sure as hell ain't the same
@FreakyStyley95 But Dave is still the same
Perry met his American Asian wife in a brothel
Good story. The truth is probably less exciting. Like Perry actually being a rich little Jewish boy.
