@danielweisman6764 I ended up getting both. Put the same layout on both and there is definitely a big enough gap between the two. Was able to throw both on the burn as I bowl a late league with no re-oil. Both absolutely shocked with the performance. I made the right decision I'm getting them.

I have the “OG” as you say and it’s very sharp off the back for me. Our houses here in SE Va are drier so I would expect it. The purple/gold one has a slightly stronger cover and I would expect it to be slightly smoother. Not sure I need both but…. Don’t sleep on this ball.
BTW-The original Fireball was the Cyclone Fireball. Check it out!

If Ebonite ever remade the Playmaker with the current modified V2 core and added the GB10.7 Pearl additive package to the proven HK22 base resin, I will buy it immediately.

The arctic is a firm medium ball. Especially once the shiny comes off.
