As someone who leans towards the Brands of Brunswick, that Hammer Arctic Vibe is tempting. Also, Hutch, your Hype rubber shammy played a major role in me shooting my first sanctioned perfect game last Tuesday. So thank you for coming out with these awesome shammies.
Slow time on UA-cam. People want more pure entertainment content. These type of comparisons are good but the masses love their brands and just want to be entertained mostly.
@@TheHype-Bowling I was just thinking that maybe folks just like the big strong balls more, and the weaker mid range balls just aren't as exciting. I know I personally get more hyped (pun intended) for stronger ones.
I appreciate how much work youve been putting into the videos. I aint needing any new equipment lately but im always checking for your reviews just in case.
In a sea of new bowling balls, Artic Vibe has been a great starting point for a new (again) bowler. More than worth the money. It is strong, and boy does it hit hard. If you are on the fence, do it! And thank you Mr. The hype, your reviews have helped me pick an arsenal for my first league in over 12 years!
Always been a Cherry and Black Onyx Vibe fan. Also the T-Road and T-Road pearl were my favorites too. All of these pieces on a house shot would sometimes put stronger pieces to shame. Could easily do a set with either one of them.
Hey Charles looks ok. Just wondering if you and your posse could do a review on the Brunswick Kaboom Endeavor & other Brunswick ball my mind is blank right now to think of it Fireball is the ebonite I believe there is another newer ball .Thanks a lot for all
I’m really looking at that Vibe. Don’t have a sym hybrid stronger than the Raw orange at the moment. Think with shine taken off it’d be a good top of the bag for summer league on that lighter house shot.
I kno u won’t say it LOL but the vibe looks stronger and more length, with more backend definitely a more over ball . And I think if u hit it wit surface like a 2000 that boy gone be crazy NEW VIBE IS IT
how do you compare the road with AI core and hybrid cover to Piranha with powercor with solid cover ? Im kinda new to this but pulling piranha out of the bag first and using using the road for game 3 am I doing that right in your opinion ?
Depends on if you need more downlane hook to start or to finish. The smoother ball with surface should blend out the lane and make easier to hit the pocket early.
@@TheHype-Bowling makes sense I just feel like game 3 my piranha has a lot of lane shine and ball return burn and is not as effective the road fresh out of the bag when the lane has transitioned seems to work so far but I’m only 140 avg so looking to improve planning to add a phaze II to the mix this holiday season curious about the new phaze AI tho
Charles, is the Arctic vibe a step down from the Chill solid or is it pretty comparable? I know you have both. Do you think if I keep the surface at 3000 for the chill solid and maintain the high polish on the Arctic it would separate them more? I know the Chill.has a bit lower rg and more differential and is a solid and the Arctic is a hybrid, but it does have that HK22 base in the coverstock which makes balls really move off the dry. Your thoughts?
My The Road stands up so violent that what I meant to be a ball or two down from my O.G. Virtual Energy and Brunswick Nexus is actually reversed and nearly unusable. Guess it's the REX coverstock.
The first question everyone ask everytime a ball is released is how does it compare to the last version. So I hold on to a ball until the next version is released.
Clean gets down the lane easy. Fast- gets into a roll quickly or sees the friction and changes direction quickly Slow typically means it’s smooth and controlled throughout the entire lane and it arcs at the breakpoint(where the balls leaves the oil pattern)
Tape. Kris Prather has a video on Hanrahan's The House channel on how to put it on. Uses that instead of finger inserts. Not sure if anybody has good reason to do both.
Why don’t you have a spare ball yet?!? Respectfully, your spare game is your Achilles heel, and it would be so much easier with a spare ball(PLASTIC not urethane). That way you don’t have to manipulate your hand so much. Probably not at all. I can almost guarantee your average would immediately go up!
I have a spare ball. I use it in actual competitions. If I averaged to 240 on the channel what awards am I winning! But I understand people take these videos as a complete representations of my game when it is just a glimpse. But it makes for more theater for the viewers and more comments.
Hammer is giving us strong pieces at an amazing price point. Yet storms over there making you pay 200 dollars for the lightning?

I'm surprised more people aren't watching the video 🤷♂️
Really appreciate your reviews from all companies.

Good stuff Charles. always enjoy comparison videos. Appreciate all your hard work. Thanks.
The fact that the head pin took out the 9 at 6:00 is absolutely insane carry lol.

Something to look into.
The VIBE line is 🔥🔥🔥
Im new to bowling and these tips are really helpful

Love my Hype Shammy
what are your thoughts about the arctic vibe compared to the scorpion low flare
Scorpion is a bigger ball. Feels like the cover has more traction and continuation.
Nice video got THE ROAD drilled it weaker then the og hy road and pearl, Phase 5 . Its sweet. Thanks 👍

this seems SO much stronger than the radio active and the ONLY difference is the cover stock being a Hyrbid...Any idea why?
The Vibe is scary. The Road looks like a good benchmark ball for a 3-ball bag.
What do you do with the balls after the videos? Do you sell them? If so I’d love to to get that vibe

@@TheHype-Bowling fair enough
So the Vibe is a lot of ball for a good price. Competitive with higher price points?
Agreed
Why didn't you show what the core of the Vibe looked like?
I appreciate these bowling tips.
Hey buddy why do you tape one finger on your bowling hand
He tapes two fingers and probably doesn't use finger inserts.
@@phlllbthh I looked he only had one finger taped. But I need glasses lol
When a ball is said to be clean, fast ,slow... I dont know what that means.
Clean gets down the lane easy.
Fast- gets into a roll quickly or sees the friction and changes direction quickly
Slow typically means it’s smooth and controlled throughout the entire lane and it arcs at the breakpoint(where the balls leaves the oil pattern)
What's on your fingers?
Tape. Kris Prather has a video on Hanrahan's The House channel on how to put it on. Uses that instead of finger inserts. Not sure if anybody has good reason to do both.
Do you know if any lefties using the artic vibe?
Not at the moment!
