Going Big with a 2022 Defender XMR MAX on 44 inch tires

Check out this build we don't for a customer. He wanted Big and portals, with some killer tunes to listen to while out in the mud park. We accomplished this by building the machine in the video. Enjoy the monster XMR and as always like and subscribe and ride safe.

I just got my order placed for my xmr to be built at the dealership. Went with a 6inch lift on mine. Can’t wait to get it next weekend! This build is possibly how I’ll end up making it look overtime! Awesome video!

Does the portals on a max xmr turbo rr slow the buggy down. I know it will some,. But asking several dealers they say different. Thanks for what u guys do. Great videos

Thanks for watching. It will slow it down some. But it depends on the gear reduction you go with. The larger tires does help offset some the the gear reductions. I seen most X3 run in the 55 range up to 65 with portals before.

With just the Jake’s arms and 8” portals did you have to crank the stock shocks all the way up? Was there any rubbing at full turn or when the suspension flexed?

Thanks for watching. We put all shocks on defender to the highest setting for most ground clearance. The Jakes arms worked great and the machine turned perfect with out being limited. And the tires did not rub anything.

@@AdrenalineCyclesKy did you try it on the lower settings to see if it would rub? Reason I ask is I’m wanting to do the same lift/tire size to my bike, but I don’t want the ride to be ridiculously rough.

Thanks for watching. You could do a mild Portal lift like a 4 inch setup. That would still be usable and workable for you but have a good look and stance on the machine.

Did you have issues with portal fitment on front? Seems like front axles are way to tight and portals don't wanna go on

is it possible to have gone with 45% gear reduction? seems like 60 is a little high per the satv calculator.

Thanks for watching. Yeah we had that option but the customer requested teh 60% reduction so that is what we went with.

What roughly does a build cost? Like the one in the video today! how much to build a Can-am Commander 800r xt? Thats what i own and i really want my machine to look like that one...i have 30 inch tires on it now!

My commander sits about 15inches off the ground stock with 30inch tires on 15 inch rims i want my commander built who would ship my machine to somebody that would build it for me any ideas guys? I have 20 thousand dollars cash money as we speak to get started on my machine who can i get to build my machine because i want it built its a dream of mine
