OnePlus is innovating where it matters! This is a big deal to me as I have a construction job where I need to use my phone in direct sunlight sometimes
Samsung has non reflective display! it's better than oneplus cuz it'll consume less battery and still you can read and watch anything clearly
@@ShanAli-dn5ni yeah but there's lots of complaints in picture and washed colors because of it.... Google it some even went back to S23 Ultra because it bothers them so much
And the s24 Ultra screen is also the brightest as well
OnePlus 12 on top❤
mi 14 ultra should be included in this test
Limited supplies only to China. Not available worldwide incld USA, India, etc.
It was shot using Xiaomi 14 Ultra 😂
And vivo x100 pro!
This is the real life test that everyone should show but nobody does
If they do, they'll upset a particular Smartphone brand. lol

@TechDroider, what choose for sunny countries? Now i have s23 ultra but after while is dimming
Why not including Xiaomi 14 Ultra?
Yes bro add Xiaomi 14 ultra
Xiaomi is finished bro 😂😂

Did you notice any screen dimming on the 15 pm after playing games for a while
Yes definitely lot annoying for me wait I have good idea You could use the Magnetic Cooler to prevent overheating 🥵🚫🌡️
Yes
even the "dynamic island" broke lol bcs now you can see the lenses and sensors separeted
Even flickering in ONEPLUS is way less - greatest value for money phone , happy with the purchase , i hope the camera get some software updates and also the customization options should be updated in ONEPLUS
Yeah 👍🏻
One plus 12 🥶🥵

Bro I'm still waiting for the honor magic 6 pro battery drain test
Really helpful video. Thanks for exposing these smartphone companies 👍🏻😊.
You‘re my favourite tech youtuber
Awesome. I have noticed the same. While using the devices in the direct sunlight, OnePlus 12 looks brighter compared to iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Amazing test.
I only saw on a Spanish test a HDR brightness comparison.
And I don't know if you can do that or will do that on future tests.
On a nature episode they stop the scene and both have very good brightness but looking at the lizard skin OnePlus blow up a big part of the detail. That could happen on action movie's scenes or anything else.
It would be nice to see since now is the era of peak brightness how good they are in real content.
Thank you again for you video.
That makes me even more considering buying OnePlus 12.
Puedes decir en que canal viste la comparativa?

Where is honor magic 6 pro
You Shot this on Xiaomi 14?
Yes 😂😂
Xiaomi 14 ultra?!
I am looking to buy an android phone just for my motorcycle GPS, needs to be super bright so I can see google maps in sunlight. Do you think ONEPLUS 12 is the best for this?
Any other phone that stays this bright outside in sunlight for such a long time?
please take a look at my other comment in this video. I use the phone for bike GPS, too, and can recommend honor magic 5 pro, as the screen can stay bright for a good amount of time. If you want to go cheap and want the best (better than magic 5 pro and better than any flagship I tried), buy without any hesitation the XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 11 PRO 5G. It's not super fast, not super recent, but it's my bike GPS and it can stay in HBM for a very long time without any problems, and the screen is perfectly readable in sunlight. Used in 35-40° celsius for hours, never dimmed, while after few minutes the pixel 8 pro was unusable. I don't know how much time I spent reading and comparing phones at dxomark gsmarena ecc. and then was totally disappointed by their method. Yes, the pixel 8 pro and S24 Ultra have the best screen under sunlight....for 1 or 2 minutes, then their screen are unreadable and even a cheap phone like the redmi 11 pro is a much much better option. This is the plain and simple truth that no reviewer is saying.
If you choose manual brightness and extra brightness they will not dim. I know s23 ultra can reach about 1000-1200 nits manual as tests done by VelianSpeaksTech videos show. But Oneplus is outstanding for sure 😁
simply not true. Did the same test and tried every setting with my S23 ultra before selling it. The display will dim, no matter what you set, and won't be readable after few minutes in sunlight. Look at the comments on dxomark and samsung forums.
@@wssyt s24 ultra has same issue dw. im using it
Brother, shouldn't they be in Auto Brightness to test the HBM?
They are in auto Brightness that's why he's showing us Display Settings
Can you please provide the link of the wallpaper which is set in those 4 devices

Where is vivo x100 pro or iqoo 12 or xiaomi 14?
I'm need to see with honor magic 6 pro and Xiaomi 14 ultra
Is it Indian version of OnePlus 12?
OnePlus 🤳
One of the most useful test I've ever seen! Like & subscribe well deserved. Please test other models like this. I compared in the same way honor magic 5 pro vs google pixel 8 pro vs samsung galaxy s23 ultra, but recorded a 4k video with the camera to test how long the phone can sustain high brightness mode (HBM). In a normal (NOT very hot!) summer day after 1 minute you can't see anything on the samsung s23 ultra, completely unusable, while it's rated one of the best screen to use in sunlight by most reviewers...what are they smoking?!?!? Pixel 8 Pro screen was the best and most readable, but lasted for about 2.30-3 minutes, then the brightness dropped. The honor magic 5 pro can sustain HBM for more than 10 minutes while recording 4k, then I stopped the test as it was a clear winner, and it's my phone at the moment. Will look into the oneplus 12, though. THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!!!
You forgot to include the Honor Magic 6 Pro which is the highest peak brightness among all smartphones
Only on paper.
Test brightness nits...
OnePlus 🥵
After using my S21 Ultra in the brightness, I can say that this explains quite a bit.
0:56 what did he say here? I couldn't understand. Can someone else please help me understand?
Great video hoping for more videos like that
Thanks! Will do!
So, OnePlus should not be bought because of brightness..eyes will get damaged
Now kindly tell us, which device is finished 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂 I'm weak yo
@@Chris-xz1ii 🤣🤣
Why didn't turn s4 brightness to max? To turn it to max you need to turn off adaptive brightness and turn on "extra brightness".
Adaptive brightness is the ONLY way to get it to it's peak brightness my man
I am a OnePlus consumer. I absolutely love the phones. The one thing they lack is camera performance. But OnePlus is the best value for the money. Their flagship OnePlus 12 phone competes with the best flagships out there. For much less price than the rest. But the camera is the only issue which I do believe they will resolve with the OnePlus 13 in 2025.
I feel same
Please add Xiaomi 14U too!
Vivo X100 Pro display 1.5K, Is it supported 2K Videos? Anyone knows it?
It does
That's the power of OnePlus cooling chamber in action, clearly OnePlus will be hotter outside but cooler inside compared to ip15 that's why it maintained that brightness, this becomes really useful when u are taking pictures on a trip and it's really sunny outside
Not really they were both pretty much the same temperature the OnePlus is just programmed that way
Do one with the s23 ultra and Xiaomi 14 ultra along with iPhone 15 pro max and Samsung s24 ultra
I've all
OnePlus animations is something else🤯
Oneplus 12 is an outstanding device in every aspect, i own oneplus 12 and s23 ultra, the oneplus beats the ultra in literally every aspect even the camera, this amazing device is really underrated by youtubers :(
Damn sure not the truth
💯
Yup it is.
except software
S24 Ultra has the best display
Watch phone campanies doing something to combat this in their next release.
Yeah
They have to in order to compete
Лучшее соотношение пиковой яркости у Самсунг.
Oneplus 12 эта яркость избыточна и сильно скажется на продолжительности работы устройства.
Damn that one plus screen is really nice. One Plus exposes them all 😅
Yeah right it was the dimmest screen and the second hottest as well LOL get your facts straight

Mi 14 ultra vs s24 ultra vs 15 pro max camera test day night stabilization zoom slow motion 4k 8k raw camera test please
Already done bro
Genuinely surprised at OnePlus's performance. Perhaps the best Android phone this year.
Exactly 💯
the brightness of the oneplus 12 is 1600 nits right.. oh it's 5000 nits but the s24 ultra does this to avoid causing heating problems
It was still the hottest though.
Nope, the s24 was brighter at first which means oneplus lied about 5000nits
One Plus remains on 100% after 20 mins???
Anyone else noticed???
Si es verdad sigue al 100 yo estoy pensando en comprarmelo hoy
yeahhh
The phones laying on hot, scorching ground are going to give us inaccurate results, because we usually HOLD our phones when we go outside, leaving them a lot cooler. They should have been on a stand, airborne.
This test needs to be redone with the 14 Ultra.
I agree, TechDroider I hope you are reading and understanding how impractical the current test is
1:41 it's a carpet. you can see from the front camera view that he is inside
@@AmalForbesEven then, carpets conduct extra heat that our hands wouldn't. The phones should be on a stand
@@Only_Habibiguys guys... They're still going to end up doing the same thing. They cannot sustain the brightness they have very long. So in the hand, they may last A FEW more minutes longer but in the end, the OnePlus is still going to win this test. It is what it is. Just accept it.
Add oppo find x7 ultra also
Okay
please give me the iphone wallpaper
What the hell man …why pixel looks so choppy after 10 min lol😑
One thing you will appreciate on one plus is pwm all other three fliker while oneplus is normal😂😂😂
First phone to have burn in OLED is one plus
I'm not so sure about that. The way BOE fine tuned the matrix of the display for this level of brightness is a huge advancement. Why do you think Samsung is trying to sue them. Because if you can't beat them, sue them lol
OnePlus 12 is the one
Xiaomi 14 ultra
Vivo x100
Samsung be like ye jo display hai na woh sab Mera hi hai 😂😂😂😂
OnePlus uses BOE
On the iPhone turn on automatic brightness because iPhone is chilling at 1000nits
iPhone is always on automatic brightness, there's no manual button
I love my OnePlus 12😅
The s24 ultra display is genuinely fenomenal
It definitely is
Mad iphone and Samsung users incoming 🤣
They're already here lol
Why dont you turn on extra brightness on samsung
Adaptive brightness is brighter than extra brightness
Nice video
Thanks
The mistake is that maximum brightness works with auto brightness not manually, you should try that way!
They are all on auto mode
They all are on auto Brightness
@@techdroider but in video you manually setup all of them!
Oneplus not throttling brightness to protect display. Expect it to have burn in before all the others...
It has the largest cooling chamber than any other mobile right now
They don't dim the screen to prevent screen retention, they dim the screen in order to keep the phone from over heating. OnePlus used a two pronged approach. BOE fine tuned the matrix of the display for this (which is next level technology) and OnePlus backed it up with a more advanced heat dispersion technique.
I was in shop and my s24 plus is dimmer than a ipbone 15 pro .damm samsung you make now bether display for iphone than a samsug .fuck
HONOR MAGIC 6 PRO 5000 NITS THIS ALL BEAT CAN MAGIC 6 PRO WHY NOT COMPARE YYY
I think after 2000 nits, there are diminishing returns. Not really a point in 4500 nits or whatever OnePlus has. In direct sunlight you only need like 600 nits.
The 75% antireflectivity coating on the S24 ultra gives it the edge
Haha what? You cant see shit on it dark as hell. One Plus killed them easily
It still has to dim over time so it doesn't over heat
@saine414 haha the s24 Ultra screen is still brighter
Imagine how bad burn-in will be in the OnePlus 12…
There won't be. BOE fine tuned the matrix of this display using next generation technology. That's why Samsung is trying to sue them in order to stop them from competing because they're being beaten
One plus is brighter because it's brightness is actually lower than all of the phones as yall see at the beginning
But would you rather have VERY temporary high brightness in the beginning but fade over time, or a great brightness that competes with the others but also won't dim over time like the others do? I pick option B
@@adamrush8360I pick Samsung
S24U❤🎉
it lost :)
@@galaxyntcit's the brightest
Samsung is just trash 🚮🚮🤢🤮🤮🤮🤧🤧
Samsung is King
Why would you set the phones on hot concrete? This is a flawed test from the very beginning
It's not concrete, but grey keyboard mat
My s24 plus eats that oneplus in brightness lol even after hours it does not heat up most likey exynos 2400
Tests side by side or it didn't happen
All the phones are on hot pavement
OnePlus will likely get damaged sooner than others, maybe after one or two months.
Nope. BOE fine tuned the matrix of this display using next generation technology in order to be able to do this.
No one uses their phone in direct sunlight. iPhone 15 Pro Max is the winner overall.
Average iPhone user can't digest Android is winning 🤡
What. How?💀
Strange usw it out and about all the time and sun is shining too
You don't, but those who travel a lot use phone in direct sunlight.
😂I think you mistakenly readed OnePlus 12 as iPhone.
Xiaomi ultra una mierda de pantalla yo lo he devuelto pantalla poco brillante, y el samsung al Sol baja el brilló y no se ve nada
