I’m more comfortable wearing dress pants with matching vest and a buttoned short sleeved shirt (preferably black for vest and pants, and burgundy for the short sleeved shirt). If that looks fine on me and fits well, what are your thoughts on that?
Hey! Thanks for taking the time to comment. Definitely not a suitable choice for "Black-Tie Optional". The said, is more suited for cocktail and i'd avoid short sleeves with vest, stick with long sleeved and make sure it's pastel tone rather than actually burgundy (If not it's going to look tacky)
@@theDapperVaultthanks. The only problem with the long sleeve and lighter colored shirts is that they cover my biceps which I would like to show :) and makes me look fatter, not slimmer. On the other hand, the short sleeve burgundy shirt makes me look much slimmer than if I wore a light colored suit type shirt with long sleeves. Given my preference, what’s your recommendation? and thanks a lot.
@@theDapperVault If you’re in a one-off wedding party, yes. In that case, an exception can be made. However, if you’re going to black tie events fairly frequently, then invest in a tux. Otherwise, wear a good suit.
Thank you for this video! ❤ Love the content!
Appreciate you watching buddy 😊

Don't wear a boutonniere to a wedding. Flowers are for the wedding party.
Never wear a rented tux. It’s cheesy.
Do people still wear rented tux nowadays? 🫠
