It was a great ending. I loved when we visited the memories with the forgotten and assured them that growing up doesn't mean leaving our inner child behind. Got a little misty eyed....❤️

It made me tear up too! I can’t wait to see a new chapter with the forgotten by our side in the future.
The glowing drawing before the camera door is a map of Dreamlight Valley with markers at Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust and two in the Forgotten Lands. I think that it's clues to a new passage by the stone face waterfall.
Already done this yesterday and I didn't realise that there was a cardboard crown and wings in the wardrobes. I used my own 😅
I knew there was a cardboard crown and wings, but I thought, "The door would be able to tell the difference." So I used my own as well, but I don't have the raven wings because I missed the Halloween star path from last year.

Wow.... just wow. I love the story, its special, magical even, don't think many other games have that. I really mean it. The ending when both the Forgotten and the Player join to break the spell that part was awesome
I think what it means is when the player grew up they left their child self behind and them coming back to the house in the beginning of the game resembles them revisiting their childhood memories, atleast thats how i saw it
I wish I could be a child again, don't exactly want to relive my childhood because... it wasn't exactly too good, except some parts but atleast you have your imagination and innocence. When you grow up you just can't enjoy some things because your logical grownup mind just won't let you, you just hear a "THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE" or "Thats Stupid" from inside your head. I don't like sometimes. I don't give it a second thought but this game made me rethink that, don't know what I'll do about it but i guess it just made me remember how things use to be... I love this game's story

This one was so emotional, and we can see how many people work to make this game.
The ending made me cry but it was good tears. It is a beautiful touching storyline that most of us can relate to. I watched all of the credits too. 100s of people involved including some movie stars. Can’t wait for more! ❤

Not me. I wouldn't have dared to bring WALL-E (my favorite villager) with me. He would've been such a nervous wreck.

Wow, this is a nice perfect ending cutscene, and I also love how that Jafar from Aladdin appears in the post credits

I was crying a little too, it was so beautiful, wholesome and warm to see the forgotten so happy for the first time after everything that happened to them, I could tell it was like reuniting with a childhood friend or finding a long lost friend.
Edit: Or twin sibling even.
The drawing on the wall in the dark castle shows 3 new biomes to the left 🤞 👍😄

If you still play Dreamlight Valley, there was an update on the end, so there is this new place called eternity aisle, and there is Eve from wall.e Gaston from beauty and the beast and Rapunzel from tangled so more characters also, you can’t get Jafar to come to your village if you like at him there’s no shiny spots on him so he’s eternity aisle
I think the drawing on the wall might be a little hint for a new biom !

Rverytime i go to take a photo of The Forgotten, her head has a vibrating glitch that is just WILD. IDK if anyone else has that glitch but it is like she's jacked up on a sugar rush.😂

Why did I cry? I finished it last night knowing what was happening (bc I don't mind spoilers) and still....I cried. It's like it ended for real. Wild. Disney always hits me in that way. I wonder how they are going to continue??

I was surprised you have 450K subscribers for fighting games. You seem to really enjoy the story lines and decorating in Dreamlight Valley. Which type of game do you actually enjoy playing the most? Well, anyway, you do a great job with this game.
Did you see that the forgotten can visit the valley (or you visit the dark castle) and start with she/him a different conversation once a day? And did you see that in the characters section of menu is a "dreamlight 0/0"? Can we unlock the forgotten as a character?
I think eventually we will, like the forgotten said they need time to process, but eventually we will have quests with them and maybe re-name them! Plus they can’t stop thinking about skull rock so maybe we’ll unlock that place also. Whatever happens it will be an awesome adventure!😊❤
@@mackenziecollins2688 yeah, and the "dreamlight 0/0" was taking off the menu, so I think that devs change their plans for the forgotten in the last months, or, it was an error. I'm a little confused, it's taking so much updates 😅.

Just makes sense to have biomes on islands as opposed to expand what we already have as it wouldn’t be a village anymore but more of a metropolis 😂

I got to 23:31 playing on my Switch and the game crashed :) now I can't finish the quest because the Forgotten won't spawn

@Joshua Ayers Yes, I am a cautionary tale. Never get so caught up in the story you forget to save every so often. Although, I'm not so sure saving would have helped me. It crashed in the middle of a cut scene. I was going back to the Dark Castle after remembering my childhood with the Forgotten. I hope they fix it though! I really want that last orb for the Forgotten Lands.
My game crashed too when my character and forgotten were to leave together. I went back into the "water room" and just ran around incircles aling the perimeter, eventually I saw a faint light in the background and ran towards it. The Forgotten was waiting for me by the bookshelf. I was able to finish the storyline. Go back and give it a try. Be patient looking for a faint light in the distance.

objectively this is a nice story. And I do really like the dark castle section. Subjectively however, it's hard to say that I like it. The 1st part of the story I really liked, it was real, it showed what people with mental health issues deal with on a daily basis. But then it goes the fake "they all live happily ever after" route. I get its Disney. And that definitely is a forever disney thing. But too many times I see alot of different mediums bring awareness to mental health but always puts a positive spin on it. Imo that's giving a false idea on what some mental health problems are. All mental health is different so maybe there are lucky people who relate to it. But personally, there is not an ounce of positivity in my mental health. I know I'm an odd person with odd feelings and opinions. But it's still me. Sometimes opinions are rooted in something very personal.
My one simple argument is with my mental health being so bad I want positive things in my life and I play games to have fun and be happier than in reality. Like I do understand what you're saying with it not being accurate to our struggles but at the same time I don't want others to have to deal with these feelings you know?
@@birdieb0y25 having depression and anxiety for 20 straight years and never getting better only getting worse over the years. Distorts my views of everything. I dont play video games anymore for fun, because unfortunately my depression has stolen any enjoyment I get from anything. I only play games, to distract myself from my life. Any type of entertainment, is for distraction. Never fun. Sad existence, I know. As far as not wanting other to feel that too. I get that. But, it makes normal people, less likely to understand mental health. So many people think it's something everyone that has will get over at some point because of stories like this. When reality is, some people like me are not that lucky. And I have no people in my life because of the lack of understanding in people. Everyone leaves. Because they dont understand

Wish I could have seen this on my game. Just as the forgotten and I were going to fix the valley the game crashed. After I restarted the game she was gone and I can't finish the quest 😢
I had the exact same problem. The game crashed as the credits were playing and now there's nothing I can so. So frustrating.
I never got to the credits. It happened just as we were using magic at the rift in the sky. I go back to the castle and she's not there. Game keeps telling me that I have to talk to her.
I was able to do i!! Kept walking in circles until I eventually saw a dim light and there she was, waiting by the bookcase. Try again! You'll find the forgotten! Cheers!
