It's a beautiful spot! Last time I slept here (2016), we had bears in our camp! They were just sniffing around and drinking water out of the lake. We were layered up in our bags, hammocks, bug nets, and tightly pitched rain tarps though, and couldn't get up smoothly or quickly. We waited them out, but it was a sleepless night!
@@thalleshoward3962 I suggest you visit, if you have the chance. I live in Metro Detroit as well and love to spend as much time as possible north of the Mackinac!

Needless to say! That’s cool and frightening! Tara was scared of bears too, but we kept the site clean and hung our food on the bear pole!
Lovely scenery
Thank you! The colors had just started to show on the trees, It was an amazing experience!
@@RichOutdoors I am from Michigan and I never been that far up in the Upper peninsula. That is definitely a place on my bucket list.

Wow. You used an HDR camera to record this! My screen shows HDR also, and the colors really jump out, showing what this place really looks like!
Sure did! You have to love the iPhone!
Very awesome. Which site number was this?
I forgot what site number, there are only 4 campsites at the lake however
