You could definitely tell you were on the Canadian Shield during that hike, lots of big rocks. Keep the good stuff coming.

I’m not sure if I will ever get to the point where I could hike that far, but I’m working on it, after 2 knee replacements. I went camping and hiking in the Catskill mountains this weekend with my daughter and did a 3 mile hike to see the fall colors. Probably the last camping weekend until spring, as it was 37 degrees at night and the heater in our Roadtrek was running a lot during the night

Glad to hear you're on the mend after the knee surgeries. Longer hikes into the woods during the fall often provide spectacular views, as we found with the Porcupine Mountains. We camp year-round, but those super cold nights can get frosty. ⛄ Thanks for watching and commenting!

Went there last fall and wanted to do this hike, but had some health issues that kept me relegated to the overlooks. After watching this video, I am now more than just a little motivated to make sure that I get myself back in shape and get out there to see these views. Beautiful footage and entertaining as always.

The entire loop is a pretty good trek that requires some stamina. But, there are some great sites to see if you just head down the trail a bit and then turn around. That's much easier than trying to complete the whole loop but still offers a great payoff. Thanks for watching!
