just a tip for shading snow use sub surface scattering instead of diffuse. Also for the simulation make adjustments to the damping and conserve values to get a more snow like feel. You can also use Arnold Volume shader along with noise textures to have more control over the depth in light scattering inside the snowball.
Hey SJ K! Thanks alot for making this tutorial. Your voice is clear, no mumbing ;). Also your video is slow enough for beginners with Maya. My result was a bit more like a icy-snowball, but anyhow it cools real enough and ppl cannot really know the difference between real one! So keep on going with your tuts mate! :] Btw, you happended to know any free software like Premiere?
why when i convert the npartical even if i put therefoshed to zero its doesnt appera?? whats the problem? ineed a quick answer please? it just dissapear

Thank you. I'll test this out later
Great tutorials sir
I have converted the particles and reduced the threshold but particles disappeared
Does it work for 2019?

I got the same problem
I can't find geometry in the Aistandard material, also mine isn't called Aistandardsurface just Aistandard. I'm using maya 2017
okay they've changed it now so it has its own pump mapping section but no opacity etc just bump mapping on it's own.

Please try to limit the amount of needless random position scrolling during your tutorials, it's unnecessary and extremely distracting.
