The moment you allowed religious zealots to become part of the government. Look at the laws against women who are needing medical life saving abortion that are left to die. More women die in America due to the clamp down on medical procedures that were designed to save women’s lives when the pregnancy has become toxic to the woman’s body. Women who have a miscarriage are being told they cannot get life saving medical aid, some States have started to arrest these women instead of helping them, they are charging these women of causing the miscarriage in the first place. All you need to do is google it.

@@poollife777only certain states require ID during detainment. Know your rights. Connecticut is not a stop and ID state.
Please name the hotel, police, prosecutors and judges. They need to be held accountable by the public. It is not news agencies duty to cover for them by not releasing their names.
Facts
I pray she can find a civil rights lawyer
Just one story of abuse that's come to light. Think of all the others we never know about.
This harkens back to the days when husbands could get rid of their wives by having them committed.
And UA-cam, keep this reply up.
@@cellinischannel4766 Somehow, my reply disappears, so I send for maybe the 4th time. If you see 4 looking the same, I took the opportunity to edit mistakes and add a last line, sorry for so many if you get them all.
That still happens with men taking women to shrinks, it's called "gaslighting". Same with coworkers, supervisors and higher ups getting rid of workers who are abused as retributions for not playing that part and or for complaining. There's big money in the 'money farm' way of dealing harshly with those who won't put up and shut up.
That's why this part of the medical system needs to become separated and abolished, start anew for real matters, change from labels to new words for medical conditions of which will never be used in the form of labels (as heart attacks are not labeled on someone but what the person is being treated for), dump the dope and other [do harm] "treatments" and the new system never participates or cooperates with people brining in their victims.
We all need to get the words out, this comments and replies list is maybe 90% + in favour of this woman with lots of education coming from us, even though some people may think the old ways are not common these days. I hope this video and those of us under it who genuinely care becomes the thing to sink shrink ships for once and for all and world wide.
Some people said things like - paraphrasing - (Sounds like the Soviet way), (Like the Soviets did) and such linking what happened to this woman to something known of the past. I catch these comments and reply things like 'There are three words for that, "Soviet style psychiatry" which is done today around the world.'
I came up with the two words 'money farm' without knowing if anyone else has coined that, I'd say anyone can use that, they're just words though they may be powerful words to describe what is going on.
And you get a 👍🏻 from me!
Okay, under "Newest" my replies appear, so I deleted the excess. Why doesn't it show up before my comment to UA-cam wherever this person's comment is found, I don't know. 😆
we need more of the story.
Facts
I.D. does not have to be shown unless she has already committed or is suspected of committing a crime. This suspected crime must be articulable
by the officer and comply with statutes.
Once arrested for said crime, identification is now expected.
The original crime cannot be failure to produce ID.

Bring a civil suit!!!
That will show them…then the tax payers pay and the people responsible are still not held accountable table. Nothing ever gets fixed and this is why. Just pass it onto the tax payer yet again.
What do you suggest @@mikepalmer1971
TIME FOR HER TO SUE, BIGTIME!!
Wow, real journalism.
If she can't sue the state and the officer it is a bunch of BS.
We have two judicial systems, one for poor people who can’t afford bond, and one for the rich who can.
Wow, scary
END QUALIFIED IMMUNITY!!!!
If she sues, and she should, I hope its deemed Deprivation of rights under color of law, and that she gets everything.
She's owed many, many, many millions of dollars.
And yet no one but the tax payer will be on the hook….
State psychologists have virtually no oversight.
They are a huge part of the problem.
I hope she sues the pants off of them!!
And the hotel
Were the incompetent people involved in arresting and forcing this woman to be drugged, ever sent for psychiatric evaluation and given the appropriate medication ?
WTF??? When did we move to ruSSia?? Or China?? Or North Korea?? How disgusting that this can happen HERE!!
One huge difference here is we have a system that corrects the errors. We don’t have a single dictator that can do anything he wants and controls everybody in that country.
They've been medicating our children for decades. I can not believe how many people I know are on psychotropic drugs.
If cops don’t clean up their own act…it’s going to get cleaned up for them.
I hope she sues those
Thugs for millions.
Sounds like Cuba!
Ive been there .
Boy, I betcha that's gonna be a HUGE LAWSUIT. Beshure the cops pay for that one, and NOT THE TAXPAYER.
contempt of cop was her charge.
So they 51/50 her for not showing an id. That is BULLSHIT and this woman should sue them HANDS DOWN....... #exposethereallawbreakers
It's only a 51/50 in California. That's a slang term for involuntary commitment
Somebody has a payday coming
Unf@#$ingbelievable. And yet we across America havent enough hospital beds in mental health hospitals for those GENUINELY NEEDING IT.
I am hoping she sues everyone involved
Sue that hotel that called intially also
Circumventing rights is standard operating procedure in most places. Implied consent, no knock warrants, stop and frisk, etc. All clearly unconstitutional, but...
That is horrable!!
It blows me away that Americans deal with this level of abuse, corruption and incompetence in their so-called "justice system" and still believe they live in a free country. #smdh
It blows me away that we have a second amendment and have allowed this to get this bad.
I hope this women sue's the county and state into bankruptcy!
Sent to a state Psych center to restore her competency??? Good way to lose it!
This is such a horrifying situation that it's a common trope in horror movies to be trapped by psychologists who are high on abusive power to control and abuse patients.
Police incompetence and corruption is never surprisin, unfortunatel. Look up Slushy Gat, and David Mascarella
I didn't know that this kind of thing happened in Connecticut.!!!
Happens everywhere. Ignorant cops don’t know the laws so they make them up because they know the majority of people trust what they say.
Your government in action, Where is the lawsuit?
Tell me again that we don't live in a police state ? F T P
Prosecutors or public defenders should not be eligible for judicial appointments for at least ten years after they end their civil service career. Way too much conflict of interest to believe a judge who is literally friends with prosecutors could be impartial. how about a judicial appointment to civil court with high priced attorneys who routinely win for their corporate clients. Think they would be impartial ?
Psychologists are largely unregulated in CT.
DPH should be defunded.
What does regulated mean anyway? They would be regulated by the same government that regulates that cop, lawyer, judge, prosecutor etc….
@@mikepalmer1971 They are licensed by the state. When they don't follow rules like *Informed Consent* they are supposed to be suspended.

THEY Basically kidnapped and drugged her against her will for eight months
THATS HEARTBREAKING 😢
Please follow up with interviewing Dr Bandy X Lee who heads-up The World Mental Health Coalition. She is a forensic and social psychiatrist and expert on violence especially institutional violence. This woman who was arrested seems as if she is a victim of institutional abuse and violence. Seriously, please contact Dr Lee.
Great reporting! Please do more stories like this.
Disgusting
The defense, prosecutors and the judge all need to go in front of the state BAR. 🤔 If everyone comes out with licenses to practice law then the BAR associations governance needs to be examined.
Outrageous!
She never left competency
How many taxpayer dollars did it cost to lock up an innocent person for 8 months???
Mental health is the biggest racket in the united states.
18 USC 241 & 242 every one involved needs to be prosecuted.
This all started with the cops..
If these settlements were paid by the police retirement fund, this unprofessional conduct would end.
