Lol back in tank meta i used to play her on exp lane everytime with my duo who used to atlas roam and this combo used to go so fine. Atlas sets enemies and carmilla makes sure the set is going to wipe out enemies it was fun back then tho haven't tried her on exp in this meta usually play her roam if enemies have an estes cos she's a natural counter to him
Interesting i never considered playing her in exp but i might have to try it now. On a sidenote: the text on the bottom goes away a little bit too fast to read without pausing the video maybe slow that down by 2-3 seconds

Hmm, I am an EXP main and I never considered carmilla for this lane as today's meta would burst her down or out-sustain her early to mid game. Heroes like Phoveus and Yu Zhong would dish her out early game because of their Hp-based damage. And other fighters like Alpha (who is more likely used for Jungle) and X-borg with their true damage would be a great advantage for them But a great advantage for carmilla is her sustain and Crown control skills. If you play safe and stay inside the turret, her abilities can shut off heroes if they were to dive inside the tower. Lastly, do you think she goes well with Semi-tank mage build for additional damage?

The heroes you mentioned can most definitely burst her down since they are tank killers which is why I recommend picking her in the right situations. Examples are if the other EXP laner is not, or not a good tank killer, if your team is lacking a tank or if there is a Cecillion on your team since both of them naturally pair well together. Carmillia also mainly excels in teamfights, much like the META EXP tanks like Gatot or Terizla. She is abit similar to Khaleed in a way. There are many heroes that can solo kill Khaleed but in terms of supporting his team he does great. He can also counter the current assasin meta because of his high early game damage. Carmillia is similar in the way that she can also support her team with her skills and her being a tank, an assasin cannot burst her down. As for how good a magic build is for her, I am not sure. U can think of her as a discount Alice. Their scalings are pretty similar as well. The problem is that her first skill, which is her main source of damage can only last for so long, unlike Alice’s ultimate which will only stop after her mana runs out. Thats why I used a CDR build to keep spamming it. Probably the COD and concentrated energy should be enough. Make the rest of her build CDR items to get the 40% CDR
@@Splodii that's what i was thinking too. Against tank/semi-tank enemies, she can put up a fair 1v1 fight in the lane. Though she mostly can't kill the enemy that she's opposed to-just like you said, she can be a great hero for securing objectives such as the turtle in early game and teamfight. It is better for your mage or jungler to just handle the exp enemy
Do you recommend building maybe just one magic item on her? Whenever I don't want to to go support for roam, Carmilla as the tank is one of my best choices. I build a Holy Crystal on her and the rest are just defense items or items like oracle. So far, I've really been winning with her even though sometimes I feel like I'm not really doing anything.
@@itszoee4231 i like to put clock of destiny on her since it fits her perfectly but its more of a defensive item than an attack item. Probably either concentrated energy or glowing wand may be good as well
@@Mad-v3d thats pretty much why I used impure rage for the mana. Though once you get the clock of destiny, or even just the elegant gem, mana should not be that big of an issue
Not a fan of clock personally. Considering you have to already be up close and on them for some time before you even stack up the passive, if you're vs poking heroes, you'll be fked up before you even get stacks. I prefer common emb for mana sustain, and early guardian helmet. Like @2:29 in the video, i wouldnt be having to recall there. Guardian helm would let me stay and push that, and not give a shit about anyone doing damage to me. Pretty much every time you recalled this game could've been prevented by an early guardian helmet. Saves you literally minutes throughout the course of a game.
@ I see your point. Everything you said is true. Guardian helmet is good in terms of staying longer in your lane without having the need to recall. But in terms of going against the exp in the laning phase and team fights, clock of destiny is better. Carmilla overall is a hero that specialises in team fights and when taking damage, it reduces the healing of guardian helmet. I also tried to take away the disadvantage of the healing part by using the support emblem. After trading with the exp laner, I like to go to the jungle and use my first skill to regain some hp back without killing the jungle and thanks to the support emblem, it increases the healing effect. The reason why i didn’t do it at 2:29 is because Argus is still alive, and even the gold laner and roamer decided to go to my lane and I already used up the clock of destiny healing passive, which is another way i tried to take away the disadvantage. And if you are up against a poking hero, Hilda or Khaleed are just better alternatives since they basically have built in guardian helmets. This is why it is always better to try and wait until the enemy picks an EXP before you pick yours. But I must admit that what you said sounds interesting. If I ever feel like using Carmillia again I may try this out. Thanks for sharing your opinion ❤️
@@Splodii stop trading with the enemy exp laner. it's a waste of time. As soon as you're able to safely cut the wave behind their turret, cut it, then rotate. Then start doing deep cuts behind the 2nd turret. You shouldn't be 1v1ing the enemy exp laner outside of the first 3 minutes of the game. Any opportunity you get to stop fighting them, and start ignoring them and cutting the lane, you do it. Go watch pro exp laners they barely come in contact with eachother 😂
this is just a personal strat for me and my friends. I like to trade with the other EXP laner. If im winning. I try to either zone them out or cut the lane which is what I did here to get my level 4. If im losing, I start to freeze my lane and wait for my team to come, which are my friends. Me losing to the other EXP is a natural bait. But of course in solos, it is better to avoid trading when possible since you are naturally not coordinated with randoms and you never know what will happen. And in this match, it was unsafe for me to rotate alot since the other EXP was Argus who is a good pusher. After the 5 minutes, I was providing backup and almost immediately argus took that chance to push. Although this is also my fault since I didnt clear the minion wave. But all the ganking allowed the top lane to be pushed as well

Holy crystal gets stronger the more magic power you have so I wouldnt recommend building crystal tbh

Shes only good if the user is good. Had a game with a carmilla exp i was silvanna and i absolutely wreked her.
