This is more moderate level because of how much time and effort put into it. If a beginner can do it with a few markers than it’s easy. Add in pencils and extra techniques makes it more moderate level. It’s still a beautiful piece and cool way of using different medias. ❤️

So I can answer the brush question. Depending on the marker type adding water or alcohol will help with blending. The pencil is for depth and dimension.

To add definition and detail without it looking sloppy and fake. Pencils help shading go easier and make it look more realistic. ❤
