They must have updated the manual because loading the car seat into the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxIG_q-ZqgbzYXwbeApK3AybegDUy4f2fF double stroller was mentioned in the manual (unlike previous comments/reviews). The undercarriage basket is quite large but it is difficult to access when the back rider is reclined, however my toddler usually doesn't fall asleep in the stroller these days so I haven't had an issue. I was amazed by how smooth the ride was and how easily I was able to maneuver the stroller in small spaces. My toddler loves that she can see her baby sister (see photo) during the ride :) Plus you can't beat the price! I have only loaded it once in my car and it is fairly light but my mother wouldn't be able to lift it in.
These sure aren’t to hold your dog in place during a crash. Straps will easily snap and your dog will be a missile. People do your homework before buying any of these type. There’s a video showing five or six of these type and they all failed very badly during I think it was a 25 mph crash test. They’re great for keeping your dog in place driving around, but nothing more.
I really like this compilation but it is missing ( K&H Pet Products Bucket Booster Dog Car) in my compilation the number is included. Nr1 Note that these products were ranked “best seller” at the time this article was written. Amazon’s Best Seller list is updated hourly, so for the most current list.
I will never buy another KURGO product especially not a car seat. Serious flaw where the tether twists up so much during even the shortest car trips that it forces the carabiner open. YOUR DOG IS NO LONGER SECURE. After my Lucy’s accident, I filmed the damn seat during a 40 minute drive and the carabiner opened 5 times. Lucy flew out window and shattered her leg. 2 surgeries, 2 pins and thousands of $ later KURGO has not changed their design or offered to pay anything toward her vet bills. My Lucy is a mental health therapy dog and goes with me to work every day. Lucy was not able to visit anyone for over 8 weeks. KURGO did send me a leash, a collapsible water bowl, a collar and a water bottle tho. (Lucy destroyed the leash in 5 minutes. She’s never done it before or after and refuses to drink from the water bottle thing).
Wow I'm so sorry this happened 😭 thank you for letting us know. Hope your girl is doing better and you too ! If you don't mind me asking what kind of job do you have that they allow your dog to come with you ?
I'm late to this video, so I'm not sure you'll see this, Ms. Veteran, but I'm interested in what you use/recommend for car safety. I'm so sorry that Lucy was injured and certainly wouldn't want my little maltese to be injured. Having her boosted to see out of the window wouldn't be worth the risk so I'm inclined to simply use a seat belt and safety harness. In any case, I appreciate the insight you've already given and wish you and Lucy well!
Has any of these dog car seats been crash tested? I've seen fails when used on combination with the metal clips consistently failing. I'm also cringing what would happen to a dog in those metal frames when a car gets into an accident and the dog is pulled/pushed out of those metal frames.
Glenn Otaguro they tested them on a consumer program here in NZ they all were found to be unsafe. Go back and read my comment about what happened to my dog just in regular driving, there’s a serious flaw and the clips open & Kurgo doesn’t care and doesn’t follow through to fix it, admit the problem, or even pay vet bills.
I have an anxious beagle who NEEDS to sit up front with me or I'll be deaf from all his howling and aroos of sadness haha. I was looking for a car seat because I am always worried about his safety, and your Molly is very similar in size to my guy. thank you for the thorough review!
After seeing the car seats presented, I wouldn't buy any of them. When you put your fur kid in a restraint/car seat system, the carseat should be as secure as if it were part of the car, just like with children's car seats. All these seats looked wiggly and not very secure & as if they would flop around.. The side straps looked too lightweight and cheap.

Such an amazing video! Thank you so much for the information, watched from start to finish 🤍
Who on earth only takes their dog out with them once or twice a year ?! :-o
Karen Jones anxious dogs who get no joy from going somewhere (my moms dog)
Someone that doesn't want to leave their dog in a hot car while they run into the store (cause pets aren't allowed in stores)
So people only ever to to stores ?
Large dogs and tiny cars.

I’ve got a snoozer! It’s great, lasts a long time. Still going after 7 years strong. Dog loves it, worth the $.

Hey!! This is amazing video what you have made.

Don’t get this bed, unsafe
But why show the Pupsaver in the thumbnail if it wasn’t part of the review?? It’s the only reason I even watched this video.
Thank you for this review. 😊
