When Overhaul was fighting Deku it became clear to him that Deku isn't any ordinary Hero. The fear in his eyes when he looked up at Deku, the shadows lurking over him to reveal Dekus face be gritting his teeth (or smiling) about to give him an almighty punch. He really looked scared and knew that this person, Deku, will be fear to all villains one day...

My take on the meaning of this piece being played for Deku here: I just love the meaning of this song being played in this moment. One for All came from All for One, a part of it originated from evil, from the desire of saving overcoming that of destroying. But in this very moment, Deku wanted one thing more than to save Eri. He wanted to prevent what had happened to Eri to ever happen again. And for that, he had to utterly destroy Overhaul. In this moment, the remnant of All for One within One for All surely rejoiced, for the hero's main goal, just for a brief moment, was not to save the person in front of him.

Dyskall Except music is used to represent something. All for One’s theme represents fear and dread which you could see on Overhaul’s face. Not everything means Deku’s father is All for One, plus the manga even confirms that he’s not by giving his last name so yeah.

This Scene really showed off just how terrifyingly powerful Deku is. He's facing down a Kajiu that could kill him in one hit, and the fight isn't even close to fair. Plus, Overhaul is constantly healing from any damage he takes (You can see him go from his initial many-limbed form to a bipedal form, back to the many limbs, then get completely destroyed by the final punch, only to go back again) because of how close he is to Eri's quirk, and he still gets bodied. His future self wasn't lying when he said he was going to be the #1 hero, this isn't even taking into account his 6 other quirks

He attacks Deku in a four limbed version, Deku dodges, goes all OPM on him, and blows him into a chunk of flesh, before going in for the finishing blow before overhaul can react. And you can see that he's back to the 4 limbed version that was just blown apart. And when he's lying defeated on the ground he's gone back to his original spiderlike form, despite being knocked unconscious and unable to use his quirk. In both those situation he couldn't have used his quirk, so it has to be Eri

Foolish, ignorant mortals. This is not the theme of All for One. This is not the theme of the superpowered Shigaraki. This is not the theme of Overhaul. This is not even the theme of Deku at 100 percent. This is the theme of Eri. Eri, a monster even by quirk-user standards, with the power to not only un-break a person at the molecular level faster than their synapses can process the sensation of pain, but also the power to completely unmake a person at the level of time itself as she rewinds them out of existence. A monster created by Overhaul through his torture and cruelty, who has not only turned against him, but whose suffering has fueled the unstoppable rage of the hero society. His experiment has broken loose from his control, and there's nothing he can do to stop the untold destruction she'll bring about through her actions, all the while emitting an aura that fills others with the inexplicable urge to hug her, and putting them in range of being erased from existence. All because the monster is deemed more sympathetic than the savior. Overhaul would've taken steps to prevent the quirk singularity from occurring, returning the world to what is was before quirks existed as anything more than the imagination of various writers. But now he can't do that. This music that plays is her theme, not only as she enables her green-clad knight to transcend beyond all of his physical limitations, so that he can fight for her, but as she ensures humanity will eventually be doomed to fall victim, and torn apart from the inside by their own genetics turned against them. This is not what Overhaul hears as Deku pounds him down, but rather it's what Overhaul hears as he realizes the true scope of the big picture.
I think the music was for Overhaul , and realizing what he had become. The man is a monster , moreso than a villain, and it took the combined efforts of the pro heroes, Villains, and One for All’s 100% strength just to arrest him. If Overhaul had let Eri leave the complex instead of calling her back. Everyone would have died Not to mention this all happened because of the power vacuum left from AFO’s absence. And Overhaul was willing to become a monster to take what AFO once had .
I like Overhaul more than Shigaraki. He had a great ambition to restore the rule of his predecessor and struggled to achieve it, and he has a somewhat acceptable philosophy. As for Shigaraki, he is more like a spoiled boy to All for One and to the author. He does not aspire to anything but destruction. What a provocative, trite character. It is unfortunate that For Overhaul to end this way, he deserved a bigger role

Dyskall Except music is used to represent something. All for One’s theme represents fear and dread which you could see on Overhaul’s face. Not everything means Deku’s father is All for One, plus the manga even confirms that he’s not by giving his last name so yeah.

This Scene really showed off just how terrifyingly powerful Deku is. He's facing down a Kajiu that could kill him in one hit, and the fight isn't even close to fair. Plus, Overhaul is constantly healing from any damage he takes (You can see him go from his initial many-limbed form to a bipedal form, back to the many limbs, then get completely destroyed by the final punch, only to go back again) because of how close he is to Eri's quirk, and he still gets bodied. His future self wasn't lying when he said he was going to be the #1 hero, this isn't even taking into account his 6 other quirks
No Overhaul was using HIS own quirk to heal his body, idk how you thought it was ever Eri
@@Fearienify Rewatch the final sequence and remember that Overhauls healing has a delay and requires him to touch his body with his hands. He attacks Deku in a four limbed version, Deku dodges, goes all OPM on him, and blows him into a chunk of flesh, before going in for the finishing blow before overhaul can react. And you can see that he's back to the 4 limbed version that was just blown apart. And when he's lying defeated on the ground he's gone back to his original spiderlike form, despite being knocked unconscious and unable to use his quirk.
In both those situation he couldn't have used his quirk, so it has to be Eri

Just imagine for a moment, as Shigaraki pulls away from slamming Gran Torino's lifeless body to the ground and looks up at Deku, covered in a mix of his own blood, sweat, and that of those he had killed. As Deku realizes with a growing horror what he has just witnessed, this music fades in. But it isn't for Shigaraki.
Especially right now, with Deku fucking wailing on Shigaraki with Float and Backwhip... a true role reversal

The terrifying part is that deku can now use 45 percent of ofa and uses his quirks from the other users. He can run literally at 40,000 mph. He has a quintuple Detroit smash which breaks the laws of physics. He is already stronger than prime all night and is only using 45 percent
Whenever i hear this music i think of when he goes: "You took me in, expecting me to repay you. Dont worry, just sit back and relax... (He disassembled his father)
Edit: Also like when shigaraki cut off overhaul's arms and he had flashbacks of his dad i kinda got emotional because he said he would put his dad back together when everything was back on track, but he cant now because HE DONT GOT NO ARMS

This is not the theme of All for One. This is not the theme of the superpowered Shigaraki. This is not the theme of Overhaul. This is not even the theme of Deku at 100 percent.
This is the theme of Eri.
Eri, a monster even by quirk-user standards, with the power to not only un-break a person at the molecular level faster than their synapses can process the sensation of pain, but also the power to completely unmake a person at the level of time itself as she rewinds them out of existence. A monster created by Overhaul through his torture and cruelty, who has not only turned against him, but whose suffering has fueled the unstoppable rage of the hero society. His experiment has broken loose from his control, and there's nothing he can do to stop the untold destruction she'll bring about through her actions, all the while emitting an aura that fills others with the inexplicable urge to hug her, and putting them in range of being erased from existence. All because the monster is deemed more sympathetic than the savior.
Overhaul would've taken steps to prevent the quirk singularity from occurring, returning the world to what is was before quirks existed as anything more than the imagination of various writers. But now he can't do that.
This music that plays is her theme, not only as she enables her green-clad knight to transcend beyond all of his physical limitations, so that he can fight for her, but as she ensures humanity will eventually be doomed to fall victim, and torn apart from the inside by their own genetics turned against them.
This is not what Overhaul hears as Deku pounds him down, but rather it's what Overhaul hears as he realizes the true scope of the big picture.

I think the music was for Overhaul , and realizing what he had become. The man is a monster , moreso than a villain, and it took the combined efforts of the pro heroes, Villains, and One for All’s 100% strength just to arrest him. If Overhaul had let Eri leave the complex instead of calling her back. Everyone would have died
Not to mention this all happened because of the power vacuum left from AFO’s absence. And Overhaul was willing to become a monster to take what AFO once had .

I like Overhaul more than Shigaraki. He had a great ambition to restore the rule of his predecessor and struggled to achieve it, and he has a somewhat acceptable philosophy. As for Shigaraki, he is more like a spoiled boy to All for One and to the author. He does not aspire to anything but destruction. What a provocative, trite character. It is unfortunate that For Overhaul to end this way, he deserved a bigger role
I like overhaul too, but the explanation you gave of shigaraki is kinda the whole point, he was quite literally groomed to only have those ambitions😭
