Hi Ben, Your videos are my favorites to watch, because you’re so natural in them. As was Weston. Of course your work is exemplary, but you are smart enough to let it speak for itself. The camaraderie between you and Dietz (probably spelled wrong) is very endearing. I can say that because I’m probably old enough to be your grandpa. You’re lucky to have that lowboy to bring in such big machines, two at a time. I’ve used both E50s and E42s, but own a really nice E35 because it fits anywhere we go, although it’s limited to smaller rocks. I also have a T595 which we use to move our rocks with. We sort them and set them on 6x6x24” blocks so they’re easy to grab and move to the excavator. The T595 can move 3000#, and do so much faster than crawling back & forth with the excavator. I have both a 36” & 48” smooth buckets, which are super for scraping out an excavation. I also have a Bobcat rock grapple which is easier on the rocks than moving them with a tooth bucket. I’m eager to see your E50 with the tilt rotator, as I’ve been dreaming of one for years now. Keep up the good work, and I hope to hang out with you a bit at the next Pondemonium. Except for Greg’s Dad, I’ll probably be the oldest, and likely tallest guy there. 🤠 Regarding planting, since the soil around a house is usually so compacted, you might consider ripping up the whole bed, rather than just drilling holes. That way the roots can spread farther, easier. A little compost to ease them from the potting soil to the native soil is also not a bad idea. ✋👍👏👏👏👏👏

    So, I’ve been AWOL….
Actually, I had *full-on open heart surgery* in order to save my future…!
Today is my 1st day back, having just returned home. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a bit of Diege banter once again, mixing with our on-screen personality, Ben.. it’s not as bold as before, but hey, it’s a start.
Here’s a shout out to Weston, too!
    See you next week…

Ben, what kind of boulders did you say you used on this feature? Sounded like you said weathered something??

weathered sandstone boulders is what we usually use!

Ok. Is there any difference between weathered limestone and weathered sandstone?
