Good job! I prefer the Seth lover. For exactly the reasons you mentioned. More vintage sounding, but also more open. The lower power of the pickup also seems to be allowing you to play the small wattage champ and keep it cleaner. But I’m sure it’s will still growl when you dig in. So your dynamic range with low wattage amps will be greater. So it seems. Again. Great job!
Thanks, Glenn! Appreciate it. Definitely a warmer and more open sound, which is what I was going for. I don’t mind that it is lower output, because I can drive my amp a little harder, which always sounds great.
So many issue; #1 tune before recording. #2 Don't play with phone picking up pick clicks (500T version). #3 Thisn't even a comparison - a 500T is very very similar to a Duncan Distortion, a Seth is a very low out put PAF style. This is like comparing a Ham Sandwhich, vs a 1/2 Pound Cheeseburger. Also control volume levels clip to clip.
