  • Now we're into Extinction! Right as the series ends over on the official Oxventure channel, 11/10 I totally planned that.
To answer a few queries I've seen pop up:
    1) Yes, I will cover the RE4 and Deadspace letsplay series once they conclude (and I have time to edit them down)
    2) I'm currently undecided whether I'm going to do the oneshot wonder series, that's kind of up to whether you'd want to see it?
    3) Yes, I'll cover the new TTRPG series that they're doing soon, much like I did with the BITD series.
Original episode - • Paddle Royale | Oxvent...
    ---
Listen to me play D&D, BITD and other TTRPGs on Dice and suffering, on any and all podcasting platforms e.g. / mindgame-caitlinrc
Or read my articles about gaming and mental health at themindgame.org
Leave any video requests in the comments :D

I so want Egbert moving 30mph to be canon, but it's probably gonna break the game.

@@akmal94ibrahim What is this unbroken game you refer to? Prudence has a book which lets her rewrite reality for a blood sacrifice, Egbert's mace can be used to turn the party into incredibly powerful monsters (or the 60 skeletons into monsters), Dob has the hammer with magic skeletons capable of summoning weapons, Corazon has a ship with cannons and expertise while Merilwen knows how moon druids work. The game was broken a long time ago.

9:37 As someone who has just done a weird high level maths challenge, this doesn't even come close to the strange stuff you get in them
    12:04 That's absolutely brilliant!

Fun fact that I imagine inspired Johnny, giant tortoises took so long to get a scientific name because they were so damn tasty.

10:00 I am unreasonably disappointed that no-one made an animorphs reference in response to this.
I mean, ok, Animorphs the threat of transformation going wrong is that the base form will become animal so they'll only be able to be human for one hour at a time rather than mentally becoming the animal, but...

Slightly late objection. Wasn't the whole deal that if it goes wrong you were permanently stuck as the animal? The guy who got trapped later went through the process again in bird form so he could turn back. I might be misremembering but I don't think he was capable of turning back for a while.
