Trout pole eh? Our of curiosity, what is the weight on your rod rated for? I see people putting on 20lb braided on a pole rated for 2-8 lbs. Im afraid to do that because i dont want to snap the rod lol
6-12lb i think i did have a 20 pound line on the reel, the sst is pretty strong but we caught em on ultra lite gear before too maybe i’ll do a video with a lighter set up next year
@BoykoOutdoors I'm gonna give it a try. I have lots of trout gear! And been trying to get salmon set ups. I'm still Newby. I been net fishing with fam. Trolling. But I always wanted to plug a salmon with a rod. I have a rod a have for a year now that still hasn't caught a fish. Lol. But I enjoyed your video! Watched it 3 times through! Gave you a like and subbed!
This is my first time fishing for salmon and I could use some help... I went 2 days fishing for pinks at Langus Riverfront Car Parking on the snohomish river from 8am-noon.... Nothing. No one there that i saw got a bite or a fish. I am using pink jigs and spoons. Do you know any popular areas where people are catching fish on the Snohomish River?
my spots are still closed just a bit upriver i tried to find a spot at down town snohomish but was packed, thats where they’re mostly catching i think but theres fish all over the river
Langus is way down river.... Lots of water. I have nailed them up from about the Lowell boat ramp up river. I couldn't buy a bite on any spoons or spinners... But the pink Jigg works wonders. Tide and time of day is everything. Incoming tide, 6am - 11 .... Then mostly dead till 2 hours before sunset.
You need to learn about twitching jigs before you start talking shit about something you know nothing about. Twitching jigs slays pinks they destroy them. @@DonFinesseTV
You have a pretty good twitching technique, dude.
