@kiwikiwi223 John moved house in the west some years back, dumped their two cats. They turned out to have feline aids. I'm no cat lover for west auckland where all we have to be proud of are populations of native birds. Still says something about a person who does that.

Seems that part of the Te Pati Maori party’s problems may be that there might be some concern that they may find themselves under more scrutiny with this new government and less money to play with.
This may be why Mrs Tamihere - Waititi was so angry and grumpy a change in her finances maybe unacceptable. I think that if I had gotten used to unending stream of money and that was threatened I most certainly would be very upset. So this is why they want a Maori Parliament to restore this flow of money with no scrutiny over how it is spent. There is a very nasty word for this and all the flag waving and the outright lies the Party is spouting to get the young and ill informed out and fired up.
And we wonder why there's zero progress, they've spent all their efforts building racism and hate
Thats how every Maori organisation works. They have you do a bit of everything and no one knows whats going on.

What I don't understand though is if the Maori economy is worth 70 billion, where is it going? The businesses they have brought arnt owned by 1 person they are owned by Maori trusts which have been set up with the money they were paid for stolen land. So who is getting all this money because Maori are more likely to be on benefits and in state housing. Why are they not helping there people?
Despite the assertion that they do great work in the community, it seems that the management structure is inconsistent with a well run organisation and that the Government could be getting better value for money.

Tamihere's trust increased it's "surplus" by $18 million in the past year from $50million to $68million even though it pays it's top staff over half a $million each. Where has this excess money come from, surely the Charities Commission should be able to find out, and if they can't, that's another organisation that needs a good shake up..

If Tamihere is investigated then TPK has to be investigated from the level of credit card abuse right up to the highest levels of fraud. It has been there from decades ago. The abuse is phenomenal.

In terms of speaking out, who to and when. This has been an on going way Maori do business for many years now. Maori trusts seem to be nepotistic in the way they operate internally. I have dealt with more than one Maori Trust that has gone into liquidation owing me and other third parties money and was aware that money and job positions were granted to family.

Haimona's article reads like it was written by a talented teenage. He calls Tamihere spiteful, vicious, evil, combative, cruel, hateful - but doesn't give one example. Just the skepticism he's developed through his elementary assessment of Tamihere's "business model". Sorry, what does this 'media handler' know about effective business models?
I don't know much about a Tamihere, sounds like he's probably pretty dodgey, but Haimona's article doesn't do anything to convince me of that. Only that this kid definitely has some kind of personal gripe. This was not a thoughtful article; he's going to regret posting it.
