I always thought having veteran coaches as Defensive and Offensive Analyst would be a positive help.. having experience with additional eyes and minds around is a winners mentality.. Coach Patterson was a surprise addition, but I dug it.. you can't argue his resume.. when rivals are no longer enemies, they can become allies and even friends..
I had hopes over for the winter break for certain names to be brought in as analyst, but they were hired to other programs..

GP was driving from Fort Worth???? What’s up with that? Sounds like a lukewarm commitment. But I could be wrong.

I still can't think of coach Bennett without cringing at the way he helped insure the over was hit on the last play of the Holiday Bowl vs UCLA. How he prevented Briles from challenging the bogus UCLA "td" on the very last play of the game. Briles put the "real" score on the rings even though he didn't challenge the play due to Bennett's insistence. It was such a blatant cheat for Vegas and it soured me on the sport, knowing that coaches were in on the fix. Or maybe coach Bennett can explain the innocence of telling Briles to not challenge that play. I think Vegas has lots of fingers in lots of pockets because of the billions of dollars at stake. Maybe no one is innocent.
