Bit of a Fun Fact for you: While Childe gasps and sees the Whale, you may notice he sounds different. That’s because it’s his CN VA, Yudong, whom you may mostly recognize him as Dan Heng in Honkai Star Rail. But the most interesting part is that, all dubs use his CN Voice when he gasps in that scene…
About freminet breathing underwater: canonically, vision bearers are able to breathe underwater because the waters in Fontaine are special. (Connection to the elements and archon) That's the justification for not having an underwater timer and why vision bearers don't need the dive suit that NPCs do
@@persephonehades7547on top of the fact it literally liquifies if you are from fontaine lmao, i think not being able to breath is the least of your concerns
The Fontaine storyline is *so good*! Also, unpopular opinion: I genuinely like Furina. Her using theatrics to mask her insecurities makes sense considering that she doesn't have the gnosis and is used to relying on Neuvillette. I think deep down, she's just really scared of being unable to handle the prophecy coming true, unable to protect herself from threats like Arlecchino, etc. She's also scared of people knowing that she's scared, so she uses overconfidence as a shield. Again this is just my take, but to me that makes her more relatable.
Totally agree, I loved her instantly but it was kinda superficial, but the more we see her the more I genuinely care about her and feel a deep sense of pity. Even more so if she really is the archon, cause as we well know at this point you can't spell "archon" without "deep existential pain and loneliness"
this^^^ Furina’s situation is kinda similar to nahida’s; i can’t imagine how furina would’ve been like if she was in nahida’s position, locked up for being considered “useless”. I think she feels like she can never live up to egeria and is trying so hard to keep up this confident act. But the second she is all alone, her whole facade breaks down and she cries. it’s really sad tbh.
Honestly she reminded me a lot of Fischl in general and I love both girls so much. (And tbh seeing all those comments of people telling Furina or Paimon to shut up, like why don't chat just stfu too once in awhile? Like a lot of those people are more annoying than any of the characters they like to claim are "annoying")
Same, so many questions!!! Can't wait for Furina's Demo and all, even rn there is nothing much to guarentee that she's a powerful archon or even a powerful person and Act 4 is over, for just Act 5, how is Hoyo going to give us the trailers without spoiling probably the best transformations of a character to actual power I thought that there would be something like a start to the transformation part like in act 4 and all this could have been Act 3 with Arlecchino being the mastermind behind all the ruckus in act 4, which ends in boss battle in act 5 with her Act 5 must be HUGE to bring a lot of changes to so many things, so many answers to questions, probably one last trial too maybe Furina's story quest 1 will also come with her release no? More intriguing unless the current theory is true, She ain't the archon after all Uff, that would be a bummer 😔
@@a-passerby I completely agree. I also thought that we would have a bit of an answer telling us more about Furina in this act since she will be coming in 4.2. The livestream, her trailer, and her demo are going to be really interesting to see how much they show. As for the story, every interaction points at her being weak and useless or not really the archon, which makes me much more convinced that SHE IS actually the archon. Her being revealed to not be the archon like so many people assumed, including Arlecchino, seems like it wouldn't be much of a twist since they've pointed things in that direction the entire time.
@@Hy-BridAbroad I guess so too, well, just 3-4 weeks for some news in her, Act 3 was pretty underwhelming to me but Act 4 made up for it so much, Neuvillette's story quest too was good, the fact that I set up a Mona-kazuha-Zhongli team to get to try C3R1 Neuvillette in that and still couldn't 😅 Hoping for the best becoz, if Hoyo is not careful, this arc could end up pretty underwhelming 😣 Genshin lore has never disappointed, YET, but there's a first time for everything so.....hope for the best
bran's cautiousness towards the fatui is like zero lol i'd never whip out childe's vision to arlecchino when it's been proven that the harbingers don't care about each other and even when im chummy with the siblings, no way i'm telling them anything lol. honestly, i think the traveler is way too trusting despite the fact that they can sense when someone ain't right.
Surely nothing wrong will happen if we volunteer information to Arlecchino the Resident Spymaster Manipulator, and tell her that Childe handed over his Vision to a third party, especially when both Childe and Scara have no trust for her, riiiiiiiight?
The traveler definitely is not too trusting here, it’s clear we don’t trust the siblings in comparison to Childe who has given us every reason to trust him, and we definitely don’t trust Arlecchino, the traveler makes note of that, but he acts polite because there’s no reason to make a situation hostile when the archon is potentially in danger, they acknowledged Arlecchino wanting to work with them but they never commented on that. The traveler is just polite and friendly, heck in that Virgil world quest we see that the traveler clearly knew something was up and even said that they saw this coming, and then they escape lol
@@whistlegirl5726let me also remind you Scaramouche disses everyone, even Capitano who is said to be the most honorable fatui, and Childe says Arlecchino is not sane while also clearly not bothered by Dottore and his experiments, though Dottore is the most psychotic as of now
@@nightkelm9552 well of course Wanderer disses all of his Ex coworkers, he hated being counted among their number but only did so for his own means and amusement, and since that's over his brutally honest side was bound to roast them like they all deserve. Them having an overlapping opinion is too specific to be a coincidence, and I'm trusting their word over her's any day, and I predict she's going to betray even her own children in the end for her own means.
@@nightkelm9552 Scara disses everyone, yeah, but not to the same degree. For example, Dottore is on his kill list, while Childe gets a relatively tame "yeah he kinda stupid". @@farhanayub267Arlecchino was weary of Wriothesley throughout; in the end, they shared a similar goal. Neuvillette respects and trusts the Duke, so he was still relying on Wriothesley.👌
Maybe its my autism speaking but i really like when a character speaks honestly, even if optically it looks bad or gives ‘bad vibes’. I was rooting for arlecchinno and a lot of people seemed to be going ‘bad vibes tho’.
@@soulstealer5625 I was rooting for her too. Her concerns were very fair considering we haven't seen Furina do anything to stop the impending crisis so far.
Honestly I was on both sides. Arlechinno was speaking facts, but I also wanted to protect Furina because she seemed like she was forced into her situation. She seems like a normal girl forced to rule a nation and put on a face full of bravado. In reality, she's probably not the archon and lacks the power to solve the crisis even if she wants to.
@Zero-hs5tx that's what's frustrating, tho. Furina gets all the perks of an archon (such as the living standards and acclaim) without the apparent responsibility
Bran, I love you for saying Wrio was doing his job. Most people seem to forget that Lyney&his siblings are SPIES. They're fatui and should be grateful they weren't executed on spot. Wrio played Lyney like a child and I love it - I need more moments with humbling down Fatui. Neuvillette is the new main character (sorry, Aether!). I'm looking forward the next Archon Quest; I thought before that Furina may be completely powerless. Now I'm curious if Neuvillette will get his whole powers back.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit confused on the Travelers willingness to work with the twins. I mean the traveler didn't trust them at the end of the 4.0 archon quest, and when they meet in the prison. And the twins straight up said they are looking for the gnosis and the Traveler just told them everything about the Boat and the pressure valve. And they are going to tell Arleccino everything they learn. And at the tea party the traveler seemed surprised that Childe talked to Arleccino about them, am I the only one seeing how inconsistent this all is.
@@petite2276 I agree. I don't like how inconsistent the Traveller is. In Inazuma they got very angry at Fatui for distributing delusions and while they're not friends with Scara, they seem to like Childe. W h y??? I don't understand why the Traveller told the siblings everything either. It could have been only "no, there is no gnosis here" and leave. Are we really that naive to think Fatui isn't going to use that information - especially when using it may stir social unrest?
Strong agree here. I really like Lyney and his eccentric personality, but this situation would've eventually befallen him. Wriothesley strikes me more as a wolf, rather than a sheep. If someone is trying to pry from him his secrets, he will bite back.
Not really. A god becomes an archon when Celestia gives them a gnosis, they can hand over the gnosis to someone like Raiden handed it over to Yae to watch over it or Nahida exchanged it for knowledge, but they are still considered an archon because it's a title. They still are gods and have powers, and they still have a title of an archon, they just doesn't have a gnosis. I would say gnosis is as... crown to a King, just a symbol. Of course it have some powers but it's just a piece of their powers...
Never in Genshin I feel more intimidated than when we met the Knave, even more than Shogun. She looks upfront, sometimes nice, sometimes harsh, but there's always something hidden in the back. She is the MOST POLITICIAN Fatui we ever met.
Childe's voiceline is "If she stood to benefit from betraying others, she'd turn against the Tsaritsa in a heartbeat. There isn't a sane bone in her body"
She runs an orphanage which manipulates children into becoming Fatui soldiers. I'm honestly not surprised; I'm actually waiting to hear she was behind Lynette's abduction.
One thing I noticed from the scene where Furina was surprisingly confidently defending herself against Arlecchino’s accusations is that I felt like she was defending someone else and not herself and seemed to be stating facts rather than making up convenient excuses like usual, which she did moments later when Arlecchino pressed further on her defense. And thats maybe where the confidence came from. So when Arlecchino was accusing “Furina” of behaving like a useless god all this time, I think Furina might’ve been defending past Furina (the Furina that sounded wise and gentle) and not actually defending herself. Maybe our present Furina knows of what past Furina has done/is doing for the sake of saving Fontaine which is why she could confidently deny the accusations, but not privy to enough of the details to elaborate further on it hence why she went back to rely on made-up excuses and completely lack of confidence.
neuvillette wriothesely and chlorinde fr gave siblings, loved their interactions more than i thought i would LMFAO neuvillette has somehow become one of my favorites easily
I love Furina, she's such an interesting character and I honestly feel bad for her. She's absolutely unprepared for this disaster and she's very clearly just a scared girl hiding benath the mask of a proud and arrogant ruler. She does care for her people, but she's no Zhongli or Nahida who knows everything, she's all by herself and not even Neuvillette can help her. I really am excited to play her, as well as see her in the final act of the archon quest and I hope she is able to prove to herself, her people and the players that she is the true Hydro Archon and earns the title. So many people have been bashing her character, but it's very clear all her annoying traits and flamboyant attitude is meant to cover up her fragility. Also I absolutley love Neuvillette and I'm so glad that they confirmed he's the Hydro Dragon verbally since I was so sick of people (specfically Furina haters for some reason) that he was absolutely the Hydro Archon even though it's been obvious he's the dragon Sovereign.
I agree with you, I am very excited about their banner. And I'm sure that all those people who hate the character simply can't understand her, or were simply expecting a stereotype of an ultra-powerful god who with a snap of his fingers solves everything, I prefer things to be the way they are, it makes her a much more endearing and interesting character. And I trust that she will be able to prove to everyone that she is deserving of her position.
@@TheLegalPlayer And what if you were handed that responsibility without a choice? Seems to me Furina became an Archon without a choice and has to bear the weight.
Wriothesely (and his EN VA Joe Zieja) taught me that the offering tea can sound like a threat. Also, throughout the entire Arlecchino sequence, I was ready in the cowboy stance, waiting for something like shattering glass from HSR, especially after the water in the cup was shaking. I was deceived!
Just for your information, the name "Cuistot" (one of the bombshell bros) actually means Chef/Cook in French, hence why he was the one doing the welfare meals !
I'm so worried about Childe and I really hate how paimon and traveler didn't go to search for Childe after finding out he escaped, I hope they do it in the next act.
I’m so glad that act 3 and 4 were together, and yes I know they HAD to be together but still, because act 4 returned the hype after the slow burn in act 3, had they been released separately they would have definitely been seen much more negatively
Thiss, i think this is a big reason why HSRs pacing of the trailblaze quest is all over the place, they leave off at very awkward places withinh the story which makes it feel so disjointed and choppy
Same!! But I'm 50/50 that he won't. His final ascension line is such a lore bomb, yet other voice lines about just characters are locked behind '???', not just friendship levels.
I'd like to imagine something like that happening. I've also been really stuck on the idea of him being a weekly boss, but given that all the other elemental dragon bosses, at least the first two haven't done Apep yet, have been dragons that start out losing control of themselves only for us to take them down and they snapped out of it. If something happens to where Neuvillette loses control, either by regaining full dragonhood, or by finding an alternate way to deal with the primordial seawater and we have to fight him, it would be amazing. Just imagining a two or three stage boss fight where he starts out as regular old Neuvillette and the transforms to have more dragon like features or something would be one of the coolest boss fights yet.
The Final Act will probably be all if not mostly Furina and the past Hydro Archon. The fact that we know almost nothing of Furina in the 2 patches is just setting up a twist on Fontaine’s final act. I am honestly so excited because like Arlecchino, I literally don’t know what’s happening with their archon issue. Not to mention that stare Neuvilette gave Furina when she came out in the rain like he knows there is something going around.
Arlecchino saying Furina isn't doing anything about the Prophecy is quite similar to when Signora put the blame on Venti for her lover dying (but she doesn't know at that time, Venti was trying to stop Durin during that time). So I'm very sure Furina has a lot of things planned but Arlecchino and the others (maybe except Neuvillete) doesn't know about it.
I think all Arlecchino wants is transparency as to what Furina plans for Fontaine. She's just speaking as a concerned citizen when she asked those kind of questions. I won't blame Arlecchino to be kind of angry with her country's Archon specially when everyone's lives are at stake. As for if she has an ulterior motive with the whole situation, I guess that's a different topic. But Arlecchino's questions and statements have point. Tho I feel bad for Furina, she doesn't seem to know what to do and relies on Neuvi.
@@duwan4241exactly, she even asked for non confidential things and Furina couldnt even manage that. Everyone in the nation is aware of the prophecy and Furina is visibly not doing anything. How do you think that would look?
@@duwan4241 true. Though I really hope she does something or we can at least understand her better. Similar to when we learned Nahida was confined so she couldn't do much to save Sumeru.
Dain during trailer said line that Hydro Archon knows not to make an enemy of the divine, now Knave says that she sensed "curse" on Furina. Furina's behaviour in Neuvilette related situations was calmer and more "wise" without drama, my theory right now is that Furina committed some "crime" in eyes of Celestia after inheriting powers so Sustainer or other Gods either messed with her mind (kinda seen as how Celestia made Khaenri'ah people lose their mind and turn into hilichurls) or divided her soul and put "best" part of her into Oratrice. Neuvilette in one of his voice-lines says that he wishes to judge Heavenly Principles too so I guess it could also be not only due to dragons but them cursing Furina
I feel like that odd moment near the end, where Furina and Neuvillette exchange glances after his identity reveal, was in reaction to Paimon's amazement at said identity. Compare that to everyone's ambivalence towards Furina's presence, for the identity of Neuvillette to get an audible reaction out of "the renowned Traveler's companion" must have been a low blow to her - a reminder that Furina is aware that she's not well-respected and hasn't done much to earn it. As for her identity, I'm pretty sure Furina is the God of Justice and always has been. Like how Gouba was the God of Stoves and Guizhong was the God of Salt. But when the Hydro Archon died, Furina took the mantle and used the Oratrice (and her Gnosis) to store up Indemnitium. I think this substance was being used to fund research projects like the flying energy that blew up the Kinetic Research Institute. Doing this redirection of faith has resulted in Furina's lack of power, and her needing to rely on basically everyone to do anything. She herself doesn't have power, or much direct involvement with anything in the happenings of Fontaine. And I think this bothers her because no one is more aware that her bluster is just bluster than Furina.
If you wondering why wriothesley called clorinde,it's because originally she should be the one to inform neuvillette about the incident if traveler were never sent to meropide
I felt so bad for lyney in this quest he probably had like 5 heart attacks edit: also when it was time to go to furina and the knave I sprinted and childe went "no time to lose"
I like how Furina do love to emphasise the word "wisdom of the gods" and god this god that. My crazy theory is that she might have some secret deals with celestia to save Fontaine, or to do with it or something, like she's refering to herself as god a lot because it's not just her by herself, but the celestia and other gods too.
In the mythology her name comes from, the god Focalors wanted desperately to return to heaven. So it's entirely possible she wants to return to Celestia but something or someone is blocking her. OR she got kicked out of Celestia at some point and is suffering the consequences .
Watching that scene with Arlecchino and Furina talking over tea hits hard now... and the guillotine comment she made, holyyyy shit thay's some foreshadowing right there
It feels like Fontaine is a build up to something, Childe's whale popping up, Neuvi's words in the cinematic it is interesting looking really forward to it.

Neuvilette laughs after Traveler tells him that some Archons (who in this case are Venti and Zhongli) go around wearing fake Visions to not cause people to get suspicious in one of his Voice Lines. So no actually, keep him away 💀
My conclusion from this act: I ship Wriothesely and Clorinde Love Neuvillette even more Kinda felt bad for Furina at that cutscene Can't wait for the final act
I think that the Hydro archon is split between Furina and The Oratrice, and the Oratrice being the one in possession of the Gnosis, given that even Furina herself doesn’t even know anything about it despite there being claims that she was the one who “created” it. It would also make sense considering everything about Furina is “split”; her appearance, personality, kit, very possible that her “identity” as the Hydro Archon may also be “split” into 2 entities as well. Furina, the supposedly “acting” Hydro archon, and the Oratrice, the machine that literally carries out justice in Fontaine, after all, the Oratrice’s final verdict is by law, the final decision of the court. And also as confirmed by Arlecchino, “someone” is planning on using the accumulating Indemnitium by the Oratrice in order to solve the crisis, and I find it hard to believe that it would Neuvillette, but we will have to see in the next archon quests.
Dunno if you read the comments here, but a couple of fun things I think are worth mentioning about the two characters who really steal every scene they're in: Wriothesely - Everyone seems to think he's a cunning manipulator, and I've never seen any streamers look in hindsight his confrontation with Lyney. People assume he's taunting and gaslighting the poor lad, but in actuality it's more that Wriothesely is just extremely blunt and horrible at social cues. The guy is doing everything in his power to de-escalate, eventually gets frustrated with Lyney's constant accusations and overall difficulty, and basically just gives up trying to negotiate. He's not some mastermind, he's just a socially inept guy who's just trying his best. Arlecchino - Every word she speaks in front of the Traveler is to get in his good graces and potentially use him as a tool in the future. Every word, from her conversation with Furina, to the argument, to the talk after the meeting, is to paint both Neuvillette and Furina as incompetent as possible, while putting herself forward as the Traveler's best option for help. She basically wants to be seen the same way as the Traveler sees Childe; an evil, but an evil willing to negotiate with him and help him when needed. She even blatantly flaunts how well she can mimic the guy's mannerisms. Her entire monologue to the Traveler at the end is to hammer home everything mentioned above. She intentionally doesn't try to paint herself as a good person, because she knows the Traveler won't fall for it. She's Fatui, and has done her research on everything she can get her hands on in regards to the Traveler. He won't trust a friendly Harbinger, but a direct and useful one? Well, he's obviously shown no qualms about working with the Fatui when needed or when offered competent help. Addendum: There's also plenty to say about the biggest plot hole that kinda shatters the entirety of Acts 3-4, but I'll put that in a comment to not spoil the good mood.
Alrighty, time to rip this story wide open and pick at its guts. There's no reason for Childe to be in the Fortress of Meropide in the first place. Neuvillette and Wriothesely both confirm that the punishment given to criminals is >exile
So many people complaining about how Wriothesley just stood there while Lyney had a panic attack. What did they want him to do, scoop him up and coddle him? The concern for Lynette and Freminet came from two things: their past, and the Fatui conditioning them to think like that because it's all crap the Fatui does to other people. Lyney and the siblings FAFO'd. They rolled up in the man's prison and did shady shit, while also looking to see if they can find thr gnosis for Arlecchino to steal. What did people expect to happen if they got caught acting like criminals?
She never paints neuv as incompetent, and i'd say the same about furina. I'd argue that she was moreso scolding furina rather than just trying to be mean. She is a Father after all
@@AerinstadasChroniclerI wouldnt say that the prison is a choice. In the past they were a place where exiles gather together, but now they don't have a choice.

28:40 - "endless cycle" is actually players playing, until they get bored.... Paimon is a puppet for player to control one of twins: so players is a "unknown god". Just as that one artistic Melusine told: Traveler is a monster able to devour whole world, while Paimon is a puppet on strings.
I have a personal Theorie that Childe’s former mentor(skirk) might have a connection to the hydro archon. I mean, why else mentioning her right at the First quest? But of course I might be wrong
If Gnosis are part of the Dragons powers, and the Hydro one is in the Oratrice Mécanique d'Analyse Cardinale, that would explain why Neuvillette and the Oratrice almost always have the same judgment.
about the Freminet and Clorinde not dissolving, I remember in the Act 2 in the lab it says that Fontanians who come into contact with "Pure" Primordial Water dissolves, and the diluted Primordial water will cause them to have symptoms like Freminet did which is the side effect of Sinthe (an extremely diluted primordial water)
The game says that Furina sounded genuine when she denied that she was found nothing so I'm guessing she gave up her memories of something similar to hold of the prophesy, she remembers she did something but doesn't know what she doesn't remember.
This archon quest made me want to hope for arlecchino to be playable even more, but the possibilities are still unclear and up in the air. She’s such a interesting character, for a harbinger with such a dark reputation, she strangely seems to have a more good motive out of the other 11. Of course there’s definitely more than what it seems and I am looking forward for the next quest.

Honestly, Neuvillette regaining his dragon power to save Fontaine would be a really cool end with dire consequences. We're already in nation 5 out of 7 and we still have no clue what the Fatui are trying to do nor if we should help or stop them. We basically need to know how they stand before we get to Snezhnaya, which mean that other than Fontaine we only have one nation left to figure it out, therefore I think it would make sense that Neuvillette regains his dragon powers to save fontain, because there's probably a reason why the first usurper took away their power in the first place so I'd image that Celestia would not be happy with Neuvillette obtaining all that power. So what I could see happen is that he obtains the full dragon authority and manages to save Fontaine but gets struck down HARD by Celestia in retaliation ending the Fontaine arc in a big 'HOLY SHIT, OH NO' moment that leads to us the Traveler actually joining forces with the Fatui and being the one having to go to Natlan to obtain their gnosis on the behalf of the Fatui who's probably occupied by a Celestia standoff or something similar and can't afford to send additional reinforcment to assist the Captain or whichever harbinger is currently in Natlan.
A sovereign dragon theory since Neuvillette mentioned and confirmed the existence of others. Isn't Zhongli a dragon? What if when they stole his powers from him as a dragon, he entered the archon war to get it back? Could be why he fought so hard. Then he found out Celestia corrupted it and, although he got his stolen power back, was stricken ill by it. He wanted to warn the others, but was trapped in his archon status, hence, put under an indefinite NDA for all he knew. Which gives him quite the dilemma. Not just because they have effectively ensured his silence, but also that he cannot destroy the gnosis himself, because if as Neuvillette suggested, the archon must disappear to obtain his full dragonhood. So he instead gave it to the Tsaritsa. Maybe the Tsaritsa knows of one way to destroy the gnosis hence returning its power to the original dragon it was stolen from without Zhongli endangering himself or those around him?

To answer your question. Yes. Archon's hair only glows when they use their burst. Normally their hair just have a highlight of that respective color. For Furina's hair to always be glowing... is she constantly in burst mode? Or is it something else entirely? But I do think you might have caught on something there...
Make it clear, the archon's gnosis is different from the aechons's authority, the authorithy of an archon is bound from their seats, while the celestia made the gnosis for them to be able to resonate with celestia.

Wild theory: Neuvilette gets the hydro gnosis and obtains his full dragonhood to permanently prevent the prophecy, this then awakens Celestia and then the story progresses from there
When Arlecchino brings up how Childe talked about what kind of desserts the Traveler and Paimon liked... it wasn't just some out of pocket topic to fill the air. It was a segue into talking about Childe so that they could talk more about him and be more direct about the topic in front of Furina, to emphasize Furina's incompetence and force Furina towards playing into giving the Fatui the upper hand with diplomatic influence over the situation. Rather than keep the meeting strictly a social gathering, as was previously established between Furina and Arlecchino, Arlecchino used a seemingly meaningless topic to goad the Traveler to speak on behalf of Furina and Neuvillette, which in turn Furina got swept into the bait and added fuel to her own diplomatic fire.

Bit of a Fun Fact for you:
While Childe gasps and sees the Whale, you may notice he sounds different. That’s because it’s his CN VA, Yudong, whom you may mostly recognize him as Dan Heng in Honkai Star Rail.
But the most interesting part is that, all dubs use his CN Voice when he gasps in that scene…
Same with the cutscene where Lumine getting her Anemo powers in Mondstadt, she's talking in JP even in Eng

@spidebot3045 true
So THATS why he sounded different, I thought it was Aether or something (you know since he’s watching through his body).
Neuvillette really had a main character moment and I am loving it
About freminet breathing underwater: canonically, vision bearers are able to breathe underwater because the waters in Fontaine are special. (Connection to the elements and archon) That's the justification for not having an underwater timer and why vision bearers don't need the dive suit that NPCs do
Plus it would or should be different when Primordial Seawater is involved. That's technically not Fontaine water.
Again this is just my take, but to me that makes her more relatable.
same her man, i rlly like her!. But its rlly stupid how hard it is to show fondness for her with all these haters floating around
Totally agree, I loved her instantly but it was kinda superficial, but the more we see her the more I genuinely care about her and feel a deep sense of pity. Even more so if she really is the archon, cause as we well know at this point you can't spell "archon" without "deep existential pain and loneliness"
this^^^
Furina’s situation is kinda similar to nahida’s; i can’t imagine how furina would’ve been like if she was in nahida’s position, locked up for being considered “useless”. I think she feels like she can never live up to egeria and is trying so hard to keep up this confident act. But the second she is all alone, her whole facade breaks down and she cries. it’s really sad tbh.
She's slowly growing on me
Honestly she reminded me a lot of Fischl in general and I love both girls so much.
(And tbh seeing all those comments of people telling Furina or Paimon to shut up, like why don't chat just stfu too once in awhile? Like a lot of those people are more annoying than any of the characters they like to claim are "annoying")
I love the implication that Siegwinne was protecting Lyney because Wriothesley was about to beat the snot out of him
I mean...she would have had more work so good on her for avoiding it.
Lyney would probably be able to knock him down but then he’d get decked right after.
I'm already excited for the final act. It's gonna be wild.
Same, so many questions!!!
Can't wait for Furina's Demo and all, even rn there is nothing much to guarentee that she's a powerful archon or even a powerful person and Act 4 is over, for just Act 5, how is Hoyo going to give us the trailers without spoiling probably the best transformations of a character to actual power
I thought that there would be something like a start to the transformation part like in act 4 and all this could have been Act 3 with Arlecchino being the mastermind behind all the ruckus in act 4, which ends in boss battle in act 5 with her
Act 5 must be HUGE to bring a lot of changes to so many things, so many answers to questions, probably one last trial too maybe
Furina's story quest 1 will also come with her release no? More intriguing unless the current theory is true, She ain't the archon after all
Uff, that would be a bummer 😔
@@a-passerby I completely agree. I also thought that we would have a bit of an answer telling us more about Furina in this act since she will be coming in 4.2. The livestream, her trailer, and her demo are going to be really interesting to see how much they show.
As for the story, every interaction points at her being weak and useless or not really the archon, which makes me much more convinced that SHE IS actually the archon. Her being revealed to not be the archon like so many people assumed, including Arlecchino, seems like it wouldn't be much of a twist since they've pointed things in that direction the entire time.

If having gnosis make you the archon. The Tsaritsa is currently the archon of the other 4 nations.
And scaramouche used to be inazuma's archon in sumeru lol
And Miko was Inazuma's Archon for the past few centuries.
But it does not make you an archon

The cutscenes and a storyline of this act really brought a big wave to me, a distinct wave of emotions

Yeah, they had to slow down act 3 to build up act 4 which is nice.
i know it sounds predicable but seriously i want the final act to have neuvilette at least even for a short time restore his full dragonhood
Aren’t there going to be 2 more acts
I think that there will be one more act before final act, story just picked up
The Final Act will probably be all if not mostly Furina and the past Hydro Archon.

@@marfaleon7025 you might be onto something 🤔
There were many moments where the devs knew we would try to explore more so they staright up teleported us away

edit: also when it was time to go to furina and the knave I sprinted and childe went "no time to lose"

I think the whale is accumulating the indemnitium, and used it to manipulate the Oratrice so childe goes to prison, and then meet the whale

Dunno if you read the comments here, but a couple of fun things I think are worth mentioning about the two characters who really steal every scene they're in:
Wriothesely - Everyone seems to think he's a cunning manipulator, and I've never seen any streamers look in hindsight his confrontation with Lyney.
@@GLoLChibswriothesley did nothing wrong. The fatui trio did that to themselves, all he did was save Freminet of his own mistake, and constrain lynette while she was poking the wrong place.
2:40:41 This alone was the MVP cut scene that the entire story had! This was mad bro! This was magnificent!
This man took a Tsunami to the face and said YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!
If Gnosis are part of the Dragons powers, and the Hydro one is in the Oratrice Mécanique d'Analyse Cardinale, that would explain why Neuvillette and the Oratrice almost always have the same judgment.
the lore is ramping up with Egeria and Remuria being mentioned, can't wait what act 5 has in store!
haven't seen the stream yet but im so excited to see bran's reaction to neuvillette's part at the end of the quest
about the Freminet and Clorinde not dissolving, I remember in the Act 2 in the lab it says that Fontanians who come into contact with "Pure" Primordial Water dissolves, and the diluted Primordial water will cause them to have symptoms like Freminet did which is the side effect of Sinthe (an extremely diluted primordial water)
Childe is fr being the main character XD (as he should)
Love Arlecchino smoking that Furina pack ngl. That talk was so tense.
Neuvillette being the Sovereign Dragon of Water reborn, has some very interesting implications on the theory crafting community of Genshin

To be honest I was surprise on how The Knave treat her children's from what we see so far from her she actually looks like a pretty good parent to them of course there's limitations too but......
Wrio: *checks Neuvi's ass*
Also Wrio: Wow...
Zhongli isn't a dragon. He's an adeptus who can take any form

Note.
If it's pure primodal seawater people dissolve
With low % it works like drug, and I guess he ingested too much of it, giving him drug poisoning
Celestia will probably nuke Fontaine if Neuvillette gets the Gnosis lmfao
The first time I have seen Neuvillette's eye details during his first appearance on the Opera house I knew already that he was the water dragon
17:53 I can imagine Traveller speed reading all the blackout texts out loud in less than 3 seconds before retching out of breath for another one lol.
Poor furina. I just wanted to hug her and exile arlecchino❤
I’m not sure that there is only one act left, I believe there are at least two left. It could be and the story wouldn’t seem so rushed when there are so many things still to explain. Unless that important ones are said in quests
But act 4 is called The Last Minutes Announcing the First Movements (we're just before the disaster)
I can related to Furina so MUCH. You want to make a change yet your body or mind just can't do it. Gaining motivation by gaslighting myself that I have everything under controlled and ignoring certain problems, acting like it doesn't exist. While only to lose those motivation by the pressure of reality. The anxiety is killing me.
I'm team Furina.
I think Furina may have a split Personality... One of the sides is the archon. She can switch between ousia and pneuma and she has Heterochromia. Im looking forward to the 5th act of fontaine!!! Stories get better with every region. =)
Everybody says Arlecchino is scary, no no, Sigewinne scares me more.
Childe is probably in that unknown abyss. SKIRK YOU BETTER SAVE HIS AH-
Chlorinde: how long do you think it will hold.
Wlgfghlghilghl: Longer than those buttons holding those sweater pups at bay.
Neuvillette do be using the force when sealing the water
To answer your question. Yes. Archon's hair only glows when they use their burst. Normally their hair just have a highlight of that respective color.
For Furina's hair to always be glowing... is she constantly in burst mode? Or is it something else entirely?
But I do think you might have caught on something there...
Neuvillette's hair also glows

Still going with my theory that the primordial sea has something to do with the Sea of Quanta, energies leaking and oozing into Teyvat…
i was so excited for this i watched the vod on twitch while waiting 😭
Make it clear, the archon's gnosis is different from the aechons's authority, the authorithy of an archon is bound from their seats, while the celestia made the gnosis for them to be able to resonate with celestia.

Furina's redemption arc better be good otherwise her character kinda didn't had any real presence in the whole Fontaine AQ
Zhongli making perfume while the end of the world is coming:
Ei showing up extremely briefly and then uno reversing herself with the power of friendship:
Nahida being locked in a cage for 4/5ths of the quest:
I would put venti there too but honestly he was pretty involved the whole time from what I remember (also this is a joke please don't take it too seriously)
@@HellBent_ what I meant presence there was how we can tell what kind of character the archons are xD
we knew Venti was that playful-but-sus kind of archon, Zhongli with his sense of authority even though he's not the boss of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Ei... was a victim of Inazuma plot fiasco although her SQ2 fixes it, Nahida instantly made many people likes her ever since act 2
meanwhile we're just finished act 4 of Fontaine and we can't even tell what is the "purpose" of Furina's existence on the whole quest, I'm afraid the last parts of Fontaine's AQ will repeat that same mistake Inazuma's AQ had with Ei's characterization
@@carmine8325 Yeah I have that fear as well tbh, I'm hoping they have some insane revelation in the final part(s) that will tie her character together cause we have been with her a fair amount. Personally I already feel a lot of empathy for her but we'll see.
Nahida still holding firm as my fav Archon rn by a pretty large margin, but the groundwork is definitely there with how broken and lonely Furina seems to be. there's clearly something going on with her, and after how good Sumeru was I'm just holding onto hope that the writers know what they're doing 😅

Clorinde and Wriothesley Def are hooking up
Wild theory: Neuvilette gets the hydro gnosis and obtains his full dragonhood to permanently prevent the prophecy, this then awakens Celestia and then the story progresses from there
When Arlecchino brings up how Childe talked about what kind of desserts the Traveler and Paimon liked... it wasn't just some out of pocket topic to fill the air.
