I’ve stayed in Playa Negra, Guanacaste. Quite remote, very small town, lots of potholes. But wow - the ocean trumped all the negatives! My takeaway was that Costa Rica for now is a beautiful country in its natural state. Unfortunately the roads are truly congested in populated areas (like Liberia, Santa Cruz and Tamarindo). Cars and trucks clog the two-lane roads. There is a LOT of development (I.e., natural habitat destruction) going on up and down the coast. And the authentic, undeveloped Costa Rican experience is getting lost. I hope those who run the country make some changes - very soon!!!
Hey. Thank you sooo much for posting this informative video. Greatly appreciated! Soo one question I booked a 2 week vacation to visit the Riu Palace Costa Rica in May I booked and payed… and then I’ve been doing some research and now I’m scared. But cannot find information I need to know hahaha I hear may is quite rainy But some websites say the North Pacific coast isn’t so bad What’s your thoughts??? FYI I’m going may 14th to may 26th Should I cancel ??? Or 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Thanks again Subscribed and liked
I thought this video was going to be a little bit more involved with actually seeing the activities, prices, and having much more detail instead of seeing a lot of dry brush, trees, and just drone aerial footage.
All you have mentioned on this video is tourist traps. I have been going to Guanacaste for many years. Try south . Samara, carrio, coyote and much more. Leave the tourist traps for the people with kids.

I would say go!
Great vid!
Thank you!
Going to west coast Costa Rica in May, couldn't get through the video. Sorry, you gotta have someone else do the voiceover.
Why’s that? Did you check out my personal video on Costa Rica here: ua-cam.com/video/0c9q55pc_RE/v-deo.html
Why does he have to have someone else do the voiceover just because you don’t like his voice?

Playa San Juanillo is a beautiful litte town.👌
Agreed!
Been there done that.... MY advice SKIP the big resorts go local-- Much more realistic
Would 100%, we’ve always stayed at a vacation rental and spent time in the towns
Thanks so much. We are going to panama this june.
Sounds awesome, thanks for stopping by!
Nice vlog
🙌❤️
Guanacaste!!!
Pura Vida!!
Hi what do you think is the best month to go
Good question, depends on where you are coming from. Avoid rainy season and peak dry season and you should be good.
I thought this video was going to be a little bit more involved with actually seeing the activities, prices, and having much more detail instead of seeing a lot of dry brush, trees, and just drone aerial footage.
Ok
Its your fault you assumed incorrectly. you should create a video yourself and do it as you please.
You thought wrong bob.

Hmmm
Hey, I'm planing a first time trip. I want nightlife & adventure activities. I also want to do the mud springs on the volcanos. Any suggestions?
Tamarindo has been ruined. Wall to wall chaos!
How so?
