    Just bought this today. Really liking what it does. Actually it's my favorite since you've started the AI type plugins.

    Would there be any way to add some precise "level matching" feature to plug-ins like this? The difference between the plugin being engaged vs bypassed is pretty subtle (which I believe is the intent), but it's difficult to determine if it's just a subtle volume difference that I'm hearing from the plugin's gain settings vs the actual sonic processing of the plugin.
    I don't doubt that it's doing something interesting, but again, I wonder if there's either a way to build a precise level matching feature into the tool, or to clearly demonstrate your approach to level matching in the demo video so we know that what we're hearing is purely the result of the plugin's coloration.
    As always, thank you for your work and best of luck!

      yeah, I messed-up the gain match on this one, apologies :) Will do better next time. Try the 15 day demo if possible and at your convenience . Appreciate the support :)

    So I have a question... To get an authentic preamp effect.... With the machine learning are you running the same signal through a chain that has the preamp.... And then running that same signal through a clean pre-amp channel.... Then using that contrast between the two to affect the signal processing in the plugin? With machine learning, that seems like an effective way to create a plug-in where it actually sounds like you're running a real mic signal through the preamp! That excites me... that we actually could get a plugin that sounds like you use the preamp as outboard gear!

      The link is has been updated for V2, yes the plugin being showed is the V1 in the video, just V2 now has some changes , ultra-x mode etc. and other improvements

    Yeah sounds good! Very rich. Really like it
    Really needs autogain compensate though. Plugins where you gotta control both the input and output at the same time don't make sense in the digital domain. We only have 1 mouse pointer, not 2 hands. It's clunky having to go back and forth between input and output. I don't feel inspired to use this over all my other plugins cos i know it'll be a clunky workflow. Just some feedback :)

      @@mando3022 I know of that great plugin, but i'm not gonna start inserting it before and after ever TF 72a plugin. Really in 2023 plugins should all have some sort of auto gain compensation

    Does the ML tech work for time domain effects (even shorter like compression?) or just saturation and eq type processing

    Thanks for the video.Sounds pretty good.Is this similar to the neold V76 & the UAD V 76? Is this trying to emulate the sound of those preamps? Wonder why it is titled 72 .

      @michaelwirth6843 Рік тому

      @@stevenpagano Both of you made the same error. Of course there are other good brands than those mentioned and no there are no proof that there are much better alternatives than Acustica, Softube and more which many sees as the best in the business.

    • @stevenpagano
      @stevenpagano Рік тому

      @@michaelwirth6843 I understand what you are saying, but factually you are incorrect. Acustica (I own every plugin by them). Thery are excellent, but heavy on CPU, so you have to manage your usage wisely. Softube has older algos they rarely update, and in fact, there are quite a few softube plugins licensed in UA as well. There are a number of developers who are raising the bar significantly (Liquidsonics, Altiverb, etc)
      Unfortunately, good development isn't cheap but musicians complain about high priced plugins, so more often than not there is a level of "good quality at this price" vs "best quality money can buy".

    • @gdayal9
      @gdayal9 Рік тому

      @@stevenpagano I would agree with you mostly, there is also the thing that a lot of tools and technology is now also available to smaller brands like us, so there is no more exclusivity in terms of tech or development that used to exist. In fact application and efficiency is now the key game, this does not require a the infrastructure once needed. In fact many companies who invested heavily in tech which is now almost obsolete are also not willing to invest in new tech like advanced AI , so in some cases smaller companies may actually have a lead in development due to less burdens :)
