Korra fighting with cuffs on is a testament to how amazing of a bender she is! & P'li's death was so metal! Very creative of Suyin imo & I also loved the lava bending reveal 😂
Just for context on combustion bending, it was discovered through torture and forcing people to firebend chained up inside the ocean ... Since they were inside the water, there was no way to make fire, so then the combustion, the release of pressure started. So P'li saying Zaheer freed her from being a killing machine for a warlord hits really hard 🥺

it makes sense that Bolin can lavabend since Mako can lightningbend. They had an earthbender father and firebender mother. Lava is earth plus fire and lightning is combustion grounded by earth.
You're trying so hard, lava is just what ice is for water, temperature change. Lava has nothing to do with fire. And with the lighting one you're exaggerating xd
yes :D I love Zaheer as a villain he believes so strongly in his beliefs he is willing to die for them, willing to fight to the very end, willing to go to an extreme that he finds distasteful for the ends justify the means. this is something Amon and holy fuck not unilock had, Amon cut tail and ran the moment the tide turned against him, instead of sticking to his convictions and fighting telling his followers 'yes i may be a water bender but i still believe benders have oppressed you for too long, i'm willing to put my life on the line to fight for your rights' no he didnt do that, he tucked his tail between his legs and booked it, Tarlock doing the right thing in the end by literally ending the circle of abuse with them. Amon was a fraud and a coward, Zaheer is a better villain in every way. that said i don't hate amon as a villian i just hate the way people preen over him like hes the best villain of any show ever, he's not, far from it, i really don't think hes that much better then season 4s villain better, but not by that much :/
Korra was AMAZING fighting and using 3 elements while beinh chained WITH PLATINUM and you did not ackowledge that, then Zaheer hits her and she "takes a beating". Unfair.

Man, what a season. It utilizes its characters perhaps the best of Korra's entire run. And what an antagonist Zaheer and The Red Lotus make.
One of the most badass episode of the entire Avatar universe. And the Tonraq/Korra duo against Zaheer is so sick.

It's not a big surprise Bolin can lavabend. He has earthbending AND firebending parentage.
Makes sense Bolin can bend lava, his parents were an earthbender and a firebender.
