Several weeks ago I started putting Colin Smith's psalm settings on my channel, though my voice is not a patch on yours. I found two problems: one is that probably half of them are a step too high (for my male voice and my fellow female cantors), and the other is that the syllable break up isn't always satisfactory (to my mind anyway). It's a simple enough matter to transpose, but I have ended up doing my own thing with the syllable to note break up in an attempt to get a smoother flow: as written, I felt that the last phrase for each stanza is really clunky.

Just to be clear, I haven't made these comments as criticism, as you've sung the psalm according to Hoyle: I'm just pointing out an alternative way that others may not agree with, but still keeps the most important part of Colin Smith's wonderful settings. I'm really glad to see that you are back posting videos as it has been quite a few months since the last ones, and I hope to see many more in the future!
