You're better off putting the pretzels in a ziploc bag and crushing manually. I can't think of what attachment the kitchenaid might have that could replicate a food processor
I made this pie & followed the directions step by step and it was super liquidy. Even after 8 hrs in the fridge I can't cut it, its didn't get thick at all! I folded in the cream (didn't mix too much) as directions said, but super frustrating b.c its a liquid pie!!
And using the food processor actually creates a denser, more stable whipped that stands up longer (there's a scientific explanation having to do with size of air molecules).
The pie looks delicious, but PLEASE stop having kids under the age of 8 assist with baking projects. It’s so annoying because they have zero attention span and It’s not cute. I suspect many people watch instructional cooking videos to learn something and perhaps have a minute away from the kids. 😉
there are plenty of kid-free instructional cooking videos that you can watch! this video doesn’t fit your desires so feel free to simply not watch these specific videos if you don’t personally enjoy them
@@armapplesauce I didn’t know from the get-go that there was a child involved. Frankly. I don’t watch her videos because they often involve a hyperactive child which I find annoying. Come to think of it, I tried her maple cream pie recipe over the holidays and it was truly awful, so yeah. I’ll be passing on them moving forward. I’m a professional baker, so spare me any remark about technique.
@@maddy131 ok glad you solved your problem! in the future i'd also recommend glancing at a video's thumbnail and title before watching :) the thumbnail clearly shows the child and the title says "cook and a half" which is the title of their series with the kid
You're watching a youtube show, which has multiple episodes, called Cook and a Half (that's a joke about her kid being half the size of an adult, if you hadn't clocked) in which Sam cooks with her son...that's kinda the whole schtick. Move on.

Just the cutest no-bake pie show ever just glittered with joy😋

I love the dynamic between Artie and Jessie. And this pretzel crust looks so delish!
Thanks so much for watching Allison!
Artie is the best.
I've got one word for you: "A-mmm-azing!" 😁

Thank you!
Look very delicious 😋🤤 I love defferent kind of the pies
thank you!
U are welcome
Could I do all of this with my Kitchenaid stand mixer? Don't have food processor, and unfortunately it's not in the budget at the moment.

@@SpotofTeaPlease agree!
you can def make the whipped cream in the stand mixer and the filling but maybe do the crust in a ziplock with a rolling pin
Artie = adorable fun
yup
yum!
🥰

I didn't know Holly Hunter bakes
🤷♀️
I just made a pretzel crust yesterday to go with a cherry icebox cheesecake. But I didn’t look up the recipe so how did You Tube know … 🤔
It's a good time of year for a pretzel crust! 😉

I always use my food processor to make whipped cream. It works really well.

@@t.martin3179 Interesting, I didn't know that. Mine is a vintage Cuisinart DLC-7 Super Pro. It makes quick work of whipped cream.

How do I order your cookbook? Is it called Easy Peasy?
I figured it out and found it on Amazon
It was also in the description box lol
But I'm glad you found it in the end
@@glennacloud2895 thank you for tracking it down!!

Sounds like a nice pie, but turned it off after 3 mins and to many easy-peasy's.

I love watching how Sam enlists Artie in the kitchen. That's the show. And I like it. 💕
