The name of this album really had an effect on me. I tagged "Setting Fire to Sinking Ships" all over america in my train riding days (late 90s early 2000s). I doubt many people saw them though since I mostly wrote it under bridges and in abandoned buildings, pretty much in the out of the way decaying landscape where I could sleep and drink space bags. I'd like to think that some old wizened hobo or sleep deprived tweeker came across the tags and was like "yep".
What's a space bag?
@asafoetidajones8181 the gallon sized bag that comes out of a cheap box of wine.
I've been trying to remember the name of this band for weeks, and finally, at 1 a.m., as im trying to fall asleep, it pops into my head. I haven't heard this in at least 15 yrs
Чудова музика!!!Все до ладу!,слухаю,насолоджуюсь!🤘💎
It's been about 20 years since I've heard this. Killer shit...kinda sounds like Gehenna
Those Drums are Solid AF!!! 🤘🏾😎💯

the most underrated and unique Metalcore album. Metalcore combined with Very Brutal Grindcore
It's called hardcore punk and it's a big unmbrella.
@@abon1364 This wouldn’t be hardcore punk. This is really grindcore with some metalcore influence or maybe the other way around, making for a very unique metalcore album.
@sharmilabar2 ok, but grindcore is a form of hardcore as in it was born out of the hardcore punk scene.
@@seanmurrell85 Sure, but grindcore really is it’s own genre. You wouldn’t put Discordance Axis next to Bad Brains on a playlist, would you? This situation is just like groove metal. Groove metal is just thrash metal played slower, yet it’s more of its own genre.
Unruh Fucking Rules!. I’ve loved this awesome band for many years. So good!
This and the split with creation is crucifixion is my favorite Unruh🤘🏻

How is it corny?
@@coronachaz well cheapy sounding synth piano with not very well harmonized with acoustic guitar back does appear to me as corny, but thats just my reflection.
@@Stret173 I mean, it’s like 60 seconds of the entire album and I was 20 when I wrote it, and couldn’t hear much in the headphones when I was playing viola, but it is what it is. Synthesizers in 1998 only did so much.
