The steering is great, you can drive in another position, you have to realize that you cant look thru it and adapt. I wouldnt change the steering wheel for anything.
Given the charging issues last week I'd like to see a test in sport mode, with you driving it like you stole, sorry "borrowed" it, and with the lights and heater or a/c on. Be interesting to see what the real world range might be.
Go onto Vauxhall website which has same e motor and you can put your driving conditions in. Anything above 50mph you can forget your 190 mile range. I put in some averages and range reduced to 130 miles.
After last week's video, good to see the charger working 1st go, but €4+ fine for staying on the charger two minutes over!!!😳 Need to set alarm on phone when you head in for coffee. Good to see Austin Allegro steering wheels weren't all thrown away!😂😂😂 Still reeling from last week's video with the faulty chargers, the amount of charges/time taken and the overall cost being similar to what petrol would have cost.
Spot on with comments..why the hell would anyone want to buy an EV at extortionate prices, only to find the charging problems, and prices to refuel similar to petrol car..I will buy a brand new petrol car on the eve of 2029, and will hopefully last until I'm wiped off the earth..
The wheel isn’t meant blocking your view all new Peugeot’s have sports wheels so you can turn quicker due to its smaller size the wheel would be adjusted so the top of the wheel is lined up to the bottom of the dash display hents why it was flat at the top and not curved
The badges at the front of the car are throwbacks to older Peugeots that used to have them, this is the 70's and such I'm talking about. It's a trend with all new models Also you're making a great mistake. You're meant to look over the steering wheel, not through it, it's one of the points of it being smaller than most conventional steering wheels
Hi stavros With the Peugeot I cockpit you are supposed to look over the steering wheel not through it. I have a 208 gti with the same small wheel had to change my driving position but now I wouldn’t like a so called normal size wheel again.keep up the good work 👍🏽
Idk about the economy. Factoring the extra cost of the car plus 6 euro for what 120km? It is cheaper than diesel, more or less depends where and how do you charge. Assuming 50% cheaper you need to make 200,000km to make up for a 10,000 euro purchasing difference. And batteries may be replaced before that ummm dunno.
I'd love to know the rough % of people with electric cars that have home charging facilities, would use public charging points and why.... I'd image 90% always would always use home charge (unless caught out)???...Nice colour....enough money for it with that size of battery...
i have a PHEV and 99% use my charger at home , but when i get a full electric in a few months i will definitely make more use of the public chargers as they are 50+kw chargers
I have a electric car, incidentally a e2008. I charge at home overnight, work 26 miles away, so 52 mile round trip. Perfectly reasonable for my needs, considering my fuel costs have gone from £240 a month to about £60 in electric. When we take a longer day out, we either take my wife’s ICE car, or we stop for a brew and charge for while just to top up. Simple and easy. In sub zero temperatures, 120 miles per charge of mixed driving is doable. In the summer, I tend to get around 175-185. I could have have bought another hybrid…..but my old Prius went from 68mpg to around 48-52 at anything below 8c. Doesn’t sound much but considering fuel being at a all time high, all that extra money saved a year is just paying off our mortgage quicker.
The tunnel on electrical car is a joke, lack of electric outlet on the trunk, no rear reversing camera, and this is the full version ? Lame really lame Peugeot. On the other hand the front of the car with its grill and lights looks really awesome!
Sunday is incomplete without " Hi, I am Stavros....." And "Cheeersssss!"
Man ... where is trucks???
those taps in boot keeps false floor up. streering is in optimal height when you watch dials over it.
The steering wheel adjusts both vertically and horizontally. I'm 6'1'' and was able to adjust it so I could see the dials.
Nice video but I miss the truck vlogs
The Peugeot I-cookpit is nice. But it’s not made to look through the wheel. Lower the steering wheel and you will see perfect 👌
Hi Stavros. Thanks for this video, great job. Im picking up one of these at the weekend so this gave me a lot of info,
I just love your videos on electric cars - the others does not interest me, but you are good !
When are you going to get your hands on the new Daf’s, XF and the XG?
The funny tab things are for holding the front of the boot board up when you need to get under it
The steering is great, you can drive in another position, you have to realize that you cant look thru it and adapt. I wouldnt change the steering wheel for anything.
The pronunciation of Peugeot is not "PervertJo"... to be clear 😂

Nice video stavros and i like the 2008 👍👍

The clips are for holding up modular floor
Its not folding in because you can have your mobile facing you when you are driving. Perfect, use it every time I drive my 2008.
The steering wheel is simply not designed to looking thru, simple as that. When you get used to it you would never want to go back.
Fully electric cars, the joke of the century!
good review would you buy this e2008 or the vw id3 what does the speakers sound like
The future of driving . No air con on a hot day, Uncomfortable unsafe driving position for £33,000. Thanks Peugeot .
Great Vid as usual Stavros.
No air con?
You need the GT/premium for reversing cameras
Is the steering wheel adjustable ? rake and tilt ?
Great video Stavros as usual but 33k for a Peugeot crikey.
The screen is slow beacuse of the chip shortage. Huge impact to production back at Vigo.
Pretty sure the tabs are for inserting a false floor to spereate the bottom from the top
Oh noooo, on Instagram I was so confident for the 208 🤣
Does this vehicle have a heat pump?

Once again Great review of an electric car
will you review the Peugeot 208 ?
Nice car 🚗🚗🚗🚗❤️

La qualité Française !!🇫🇷
Great video not a fun of EV cars though ....too much still to be done will stick to my corolla sedan 😋
What's the significance of the "2008" tho? Why did Peugeot name it '"2008"?
2008 was like the financial crisis.

I hired a Peugeot several years ago and could not find a good position to see the speedo, it must be very dependent on personal driving positions
@@johndavies2396 I didn’t think I’d find one but I got there in the end and I love it now when I drive the wife’s fiesta I find the wheel too big. 😬

Hmmmm, an EV that doesn't look like an EV? I like, I like.
1st 😬

Man I hope these car brands picks up the Honda E's mirror-cams.
Looks like a bag of crap to me would rather sit in a cold tin bath
