To this day I'm baffled why Andrey Santos got sent out on loan, he looked very good in the preseason. Even more when midfielders couldn't stay healthy mid season.

Yeah he’s been balling at u-21 it’s not that he’s not good he just got no playtime he played for like 90 minutes so basically 0 goals in 1 game not that bad

You guys are wrong about Diego Moreira he is really good you must watch the Under 21 once in a while. Datro Fofana is not ahead of Washington and Dujuan Richards. Dujuan Richards especially is a great buy by the club, watch this space.
Disagree on Washington being better then Fofana & Dujuan looks more ready than him too.

I think kepa is better with his feet, whilst Sanchez is a better shot stopper. Petrovic must be our no.1 though without a doubt.
Gabriel Slonina is also out on loan at KAS Eupen. A relegation-threatened team in Belgium. I think he played every game, only got 4 clean sheets. I think he'll go out on loan again. I'd like to see him in the Championship next year. Get some experience in England.

Class content as always lads 👏🏻👏🏻 Harvey Vale was great for us in League One aswell, most games & minutes played out for any Chelsea loan player. Interesting that he joined us as a CAM/Winger but he played left back/wing back for us & he was brilliant. A quality attitude aswell.

Would take Sanchez over Kepa any day. Kepa’s inability to be a consistent shot stopper will mean we’re always going to struggle putting a string of wins together

Love if our leftback for next season is cuceralla and mastsen. Maatsen can also play that inverted lb role. Not seeing the value of keeping chilwell at the moment
weird that we have madueke, hutchinson, santos, palmer, kendry paez, and now estevao willian who all play right wing (palmer can play 10) but that's a LOT of talented right sided players and we have a giant mudryk shaped hole on the left (sterling doesn't exist)
Left footers can play left too. Paez can play attacking mid with Palmer also.

What I saw from Humphreys in preseason tells me he's a better defender than Gilchrist and it's not even close. He's two footed can play as fullback similar to Trevor and has composure on the ball.
I don’t rate Kepa or Sanchez I think we should sell both of them and get another keeper in to compete with Petrovic

Been watching ipswich all season as my mrs is a big ipswich fan. Omari has seemed like the real deal. Two footed, bit of flair, dribbles well, great positioning and has a really strong aura on the pitch. From what i’ve seen this season, he’s gonna go to the top. Like you Joey i’d like to see him go back to town on loan for this next prem season. Think he could smash it and come back to us the year after. His two footedness also makes him a decent option off the left for us if we want to convert him 💙
Chelsea fan from Ipswich, Omari Hutchinson has been unbelievable for ipswich. Especially during the run in he's come up with some massive goals and putting the team on his back during parts of games this season. The two goals he scored against Hull are a testament to his quality.
Maatsen would play that Cucurella inverted role even better and he's attack minded too
Another problem with Kepa is his huge salary. Will definitely take Sanchez over him, and I think we'd better just let him leave free this summer.
I just read Oblak is available in the summer, we HAVE to get him to cement the spine…

I really think Maatsen is being overrated right now. He's a decent player, but not as good as he's being made out.
I agree, Poch didn’t play him at LB because he wasn’t physical enough defensively. I don’t really want to imagine him defending 1-on-1 against Saka, Salah or even Bowen
I think the Bundesliga suits him much better than the PL because it isn’t as physical and is more transitional

@@notreal1477 They are happy to pay that because he has played well specifically for them, not because he was good at Chelsea. I don’t know where the evidence is of him being a good LB for us because Poch, who saw him in training almost every day, felt he couldn’t be trusted as a LB and so he basically never played there
Honestly, the comment in the video about him being worth 100m because he has been good for 4 months at Dortmund is ludicrous and shows why he is being overrated
One thing I’d say is that we only have 1 fullback inverting. If that’s our strategy, then Reece if fit would do that on the right with Chilly being a normal LB.

Kepa is better than Sanchez but 70 rated is better than 50 rated. Fact is that both of them and Petrovic are not good enough.
To be fair to both Kepa and Sanchez, they had injuries when on a high which derailed their seasons, and they couldn’t come back the same.
Given he has just one year left, I think Kepa will have his suitors in Spain, at a Europa League club like Sevilla or Getafe. Idk if we’re selling Sanchez with his contract length. So we have to give him a chance, hopefully as a cup keeper in multiple competitions, and hope he eliminates the mistakes from his game. Or we just freeze him out like we did Malang Sarr and hope he leaves the club.

Good pod but you’re way off it with Lewis hall - he definitely hasn’t decreased his value on loan this season. It took him a while to get his chance but he’s going to be their starter going forward & almost all Newcastle fans agree he’s worth more than what they paid

If we bring back the right players from loan and get players fit it will be a huge buzz for that squad.
We can sell quite a lot of players to trim the fat and injury liabilities.
With some focused recruitment we can be serious next season.

Way off with the Lewis Hall take imo, Eddie Hall seems to take awhile to bed in all his new signings as a coach and that was no different with Hall, had to use him early on because of injury crisis where he looked shocking, but to end the season he was probably our best performer. As a Newcastle supporter I couldn't be happier and most other fans seem to think the same. Definitely a bright future in position of dire need for Newcastle.

I disagree with Josh here on Lukaku, ok you can have experience but that doesn't make them a good impact or a positive influence in the dressing room. He was experience when we signed him but it didn't stop him causing a huge issue for the club
