Just woke up and saw this in my feed, can't wait to see the mods. 👀
I had no idea about Impoverished Whiterun, I've been using Capital Whiterun Expanded this whole time just to have that style for the Plains District roads.
If you want more interiors to look good, some of the missing interiors not covered by the JK's Interiors series have been covered by Snazzy Interiors and the excellent HS Interiors.
There is also a mod to make it so that your Whiterun Horse Statue is not impeding the middle of the road by replacing that one with 2 statues lower and on the sides.
Finally, for the exterior, you can use the Whiterun exterior patch collection to combine the outskirts mods by Ryn and JK, the guys behind the patch collection have done an amazing job at patching just about everything that could conflict.
Edit: Oh, I almost forgot, I would recommend everyone check out Abstract Whiterun, it's a modular bunch of additions that are quite enjoyable.

The tree mod really adds something the base game was missing in the city just that touch of extra trees and shrubs does a lot.

I suspect city folks work to transform Skyrim into Valenwood with so much foliage. Excessive foliage destroys the beauty of Skyrim.
Wayyyy to much foliage, looses immersion too, whiterun is poor asf they’d deffo cut them down. To each their own though, trees can be beautiful.
I agree and disagree. Foliage can be beautiful especially since a lot of vanilla Skyrim is barren. However yes, too much breaks the northern immersion. I used a mod before that added way too much really green trees and other foliage. Got lost in falkreath hold but it looked like a rainforest.

Whiterun and Morthal as well as Dawnstar will always be my favorites as far as the modded overhauls. Jks and Cities of the North are where it's at.

I thought my PC won't be able to do all those mods, but then I noticed your specs in the description and... Mine PC is similar, but with more RAM 😁 So when the weather calms down (atm it's too got to do anything), I'll start modding ;)

I'm always impressed by these types of overhauls, but between skimpy armors and high quality bodies and jiggly bits, I never get around to messing with the landscape much 😂

Oh and that Talos statue replacement is badass for sure, but it’s directly from Wintersun. It’s the statue of Magnus.
I highly recommend you Add the mod called JK's skyrim patch- fix ugly totems and ivy (beautiful whiterun and solitude) with skyrim 3D stonewalls. As it adds some beautiful expansions to the Architecture and covers/ decorates the stairways. I also recommend using a combo of redbags and jks dragonsreach to make it truly royal while showing its lord of the rings inspiration. Lastly try using only the building/ interior textures from Clevercharifs whiterun as it will make the city look far more regal as well as replacing the dragon statues with ones made of stunning white marble and making the temple of kyn look stunning. What mod is adding the arches to the main town street and are you still using the same ENB?

@@SoftGamingOfficial what's the performance compared to rudy for cathedral (predcal preset)? I really like your lighting but rudy still pushes me below 60fps on a high end system. Want that look you have but i like Dark dungeons and nights.
Def check out that mod I mentioned. Its a great add-on to jk. Also improves solitudes exterior columns. And Cleverchariffs textures (buildings only)

Heehee Amon's "Talos" statue was used in other mods as a Trinimac shrine. Enjoy worshipping one of our gods instead, Nords.
I hope Ryn and JK are the level designers in Skyrim 2, with Mihail and Skinwalker on monsters, Ogreboss and Noxcrab on game design, JohnyBungalow on character body, and Blubbo and whoever did Happy Little Trees on outdoors whenever Microsoft tells Bugthesda to stop milking the first one. My mod list is permanently full of their work.
And Enai on the leveling system and various game mechanics
@@itsnyetime Yeah, if the sequel has Ordinator's perks, Requiem's difficulty scaling, a survival mode like ineed or RND, Wintersun's religions, a looting system like Hunterborn, a UI like Morrowind, a built-in iron man mode option because that + possibility of facing any level of threat regardless of level is good stream fuel imho, and Daggerfall's character creation depth I think that sounds pretty fun and challenging game mechanic-wise.
A lot of stuff to really get you into the character you create, flesh them out, and really care about them. Enough stuff to make your character your own, both at creation and through choices.
Edit: It just occurred to me that for the most part I just described The Elder Scrolls: New Vegas. 😂

looks good, but I prefer the breezehome in the wind district, the remake not the original instead of anything next to the blacksmith there
Hey. First of all thanks for the video. Really like the look of Whiterun. But i have a "problem".
I already had JK's Skyrim and installed "GG's Impoverished Whiterun", "Blubbos Whiterun 2023V2" (due to instant compatability with JK's Skyrim) and "G.I.R.T.H.".
Now i see everything of the Mods is working except the Archways, wich i dont see at all ( seen at 0:03 ). From wich mod do they come? Do i need "Blubbos Whiterun 2022" instead of 2023V2, like in the Video?
I'll be thankful for any help! ^^
This is why the maps bethesda makes needs to be large so the modding community can run wild.

Yes, its normal. Those types of mods add resources that have to be loaded. The more they add, the longer it'll take.
Well, this is all great, but you will run into the drawcall limit. Gonna need at least an x3d CPU from AMD to bruteforce your way through this limitation.

That town doesn't need any plus trees and do you know why? Among other things, the whole city is in shadow.

Remove some of the grasses that are blocking a walking trail

While I won’t knock anyone for making it how they like… I agree.
Whenever I see screenshots or vids with that I always think “ew, someone spilled trees on your Whiterun.”
All I'm thinking when I see those trees is the potential damage they can cause. The Jarl would've had those trees cleared out long ago. Ever had a tree branch go through your window, or crush your stuff?
You do realize its a game right? You know, Dragons, Trolls & shit. Or do you think they're all real, and angry at the devastation of the local flora? Should we check to make sure that Giants are really native to a Tundra habitat? You know, for accuracy. Bet you're that guy who starts over half your sentences with "Actually".

Oh please. The whole “it’s fake” argument? We all know it’s fake, but we all usually stick to rules that the fake world put in place lest it breaks immersion.
I think all we’re saying is that sometimes something feels off when you walk in from a treeless tundra to a tree-filled city.

Wasnt JK's skyrim risky to install mid playthrough?
I've had almost all these mods. Most of them but now I don't know why dawn of skyrim and capital whiterun don't appear on game even though they're enabled in vortex. And the weird thing is when I play a old save the whiterun is like this but when I travel to another city and come back or reload the map or just play my latest saves whiterun is in its vanilla form. Why is this? What can cause this
Check the load order and get it as close as you can to the top
