ALADDIN on Broadway Concert Celebration - Live from EPCOT

- In celebration of 10 wondrous years on Broadway, watch ALADDIN’s current Genie Michael James Scott, Bradley Gibson (The Lion King, Hercules), Mandy Gonzalez (Aida) and Shoba Narayan (Aladdin) perform select songs from the production, including ”Proud of Your Boy,” “A Whole New World,” “Friend Like Me,” and more.
This concert was taped during the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, which occurs annually at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

I was just at the new Amsterdam theatre this last week and it was FANTASTIC!! He is soooo good I was sooo impressed!!! ❤❤❤ the genie steals the show!!! Everyone is great but he really pulled all the characters together!! Fantastic!!!
This was amazing! but I'm sad only because of the comment from the 5th anniversary. The GenieS said "See you at the 10th anniversary y'all". Only 1 genie came though hahaha. We needed them all back!

@@jcbnyc2009 this was filmed during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts during the Disney on Broadway Concert Series that runs the length of the festival.
As long as you have admission to the park, you can see the concert.
This was the last day of the festival.
This was filmed on February 19th, 2024 during the special concert, part of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, at EPCOT as part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
It's open to anyone that has park admission.
There is 3 shows in the evening.
We watched the 2nd showing and saw the cameras roaming around during the performance.
I haven't had the chance to put my video together of that concert yet.

Not only has it been on Broadway for the last ten years but there are productions touring the country . I saw it in San Antonio last year. Go to their website and see where it's playing now. 😉

The Lion King is the longest running show on Broadway, just had its 25th anniversary a couple of years ago. There have been many tributes to that show over the years.

I was just at the Paramount last month, saw the show, this cast is absolutely SPECTACULAR! Still sad they changed the lyrics to Arabian Nights(again).

Disney - Stop it! you nailed it the first time, stop messing with the sound and remixing/revoicing classics
That's what musical theater is all about. If you want to hear the original, listen to the soundtrack. The stage is the place to pay tribute to, re-imagine, reinvent and have fun with the classics.
this is a 10 year celebration of the broadway show of Aladdin, so why not do the broadway version of a whole new world? the jazz up I get its been on there before, but why mess with what works?
