I really like Ryu this time around even though I'm a Dhalsim/Guile main. I simply feels better to with then with SF5. Feels like a good mix of SF2, SF3 & SF4 Ryu mixed into one. In SF5 Ryu's combos felt limited and strict, with SF6 Ryu he potential for combos is far greater. Good job on the video
I'm a JP player but I had to take a few months off due to fgetting a new job... finally getting back to playing and decided to play with some of my other characters rather than going right back to masters with JP. ken and manon are still fun but ryu is grabbing me like never before. he's just so much fun. thanks for these videos! I have a lot to learn!
3:11 This side switch is super hard if you if you end it with HP shoryu IMO. If anyone's struggling with it, try it with LP shoryu, it's a bit more lenient I think. Props for landing the heavy version though!
I played SF6 mostly off-stream (when I used to stream). I started with Ryu in SF6 but switched to Guile. Now I’m back to re-learning and trying to “good” with him again.
Im gotten so use to playing Ken that I need to learn how to play Ryu you got any good videos on how to play ryu would be nice. Im checking out your starter guide and subbed and thanks for the awesome vid
I don't have a video, but when you do the denjin juggle near the end, can you get a drive rush standing heavy into light DP into lvl 3? My normal combo route is stand heavy into denjin hoshogeki drive rush stand heavy light dp into lvl 3
I dont know if you ever messed with Nash in 5 but Ryu in 6 feels the closest to Nash in my opinion. I really am enjoying the invincible reversal this time though 😂.
There is too much combo with Ryu, i never know what to use and when it's worth to use meters. Im also playing Kimberly and i feel like it's easier to choose what to do with her. That crazy.
I’ve actually been thinking about modern control tutorials. I’ve never played on modern so it’s gonna take some time to learn and make a video but I’ll keep it in mind !

Just saw poongko do a jump medium to od tatsu from the denjin hashy and then finish with a shoryu to shin shoryu 😮

Is there a difference in doing back heavy punch or Cr. Heavy punch in a combo?
back hard punch gives you access to ending it with a round house donkey kick. with crouching hard punch, only the medium donkey kick links.
